The only thing I could say is that we were never able to use the pool, which was one of the reasons we rented it. Very cold water. Plus, the house is very comfortable and spacious, really with everything you need to be comfortable.

A very good place to be in the center

The accommodation was very nice, and Gerardo was very attentive to our needs. The only thing is that the parking lot is very far from the Airbnb, about a 20-minute walk away.

The place was comfortable and right on! The host was very friendly and communicative about how to get to the house. We were kind of lost and with just a phone call he guided us to the house. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. Overall, Gerardo's place was very pleasant!

First off I want to thank the host for opening their home to us. Gerardo was very responsive, and flexible with us and our plans. I cannot express how beautiful this home was. It was the perfect place and great for everything you might have planned. The home was very specious, clean, has the basics you may need except toothbrushes. Kitchen and bathrooms very well equipped and clean. The pool was amazing for an afternoon grill and spending time in family or enjoying a quiet breakfast with the view. It is in distance of all the fun things to do in Guanajuato and you pass by the Callejón del beso while getting to the home. I truly love this place and definitely recommend it, and would definitely book again for all my future vacations.

This is the second time I have visited Gerardo's house. It has become our trusted Airbnb for staying in Guanajuato because of the excellent experience it offers.

Very good host, and very good place. You have to walk to the place; it's not directly accessible by car. The location is very good and the place is quite nice and spacious. Everything was super clean and Gerardo was always available for anything.

It's a very nice house 🤗, very central, practically next to Callejón del Beso, close to the market where you can find many food options. You can also get to the UG, Jardín Unión and the theater super quickly... The pool has hot water and it's nice to have a barbecue. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen and bathrooms were clean. To get there, it is VERY important to go to Plaza de los Ángeles, just as the host says, because with the exact location of the house, the map sends you through very narrow streets where cars can hardly fit 🫣 or sends you directly to the parking lot, which is not that close, but walking to the house during the day is pleasant, or Ubers cost between 40 and 60 pesos 👍🏼. The entrance is private, and there was good internet.

Great stay! The location was excellent, the pool was warm and perfect for relaxing, and the host was very responsive with fast communication throughout our trip. We’d happily stay here again.

The house is just a described. Excellent for a big group. Plenty of beds and space without feeling cramped. Pool area and grilled just as described. Pool clean and well taken care of. Walking distance to downtown. Gerardo is very responsive and respectful. 100 recommended.

Good place, to be honest, the The pool makes up for the price. And a great location, just a minute from Callejón del Beso. The only thing is that when you plugged in the hairdryers or the iron, the power would go out.

Fantastically located in downtown Guanajuato! Only the parking is located in a different place, but that's not really a problem. Everything is very clean, there are plenty of beds, and the terrace is super nice and offers a lot of privacy. Highly recommended!

Gerardo was a very responsive host. His place was very nice and housed all of us for Thanksgiving. There were 16 of us. He arranged a Thanksgiving meal to be cooked that was wonderful. We would stay here again.

I was there with a group of friends. It has 6 rooms, and with a bathroom, which is appreciated. The experience was more than good, the whole house is beautiful, in the kitchen you can cook whatever you want, the room has some super comfortable armchairs. The rooms have super comfortable mattresses, good quality sheets and quilts which makes the rest pleasant. The parking spot is a few steps away, you can also walk downtown through the beautiful streets and alleys, you are there in 8 min. In general I recommend it, Gerardo is always attentive and also billed me and that is a plus.

Exactly the place to stay

The place was great it’s a big home with many rooms, we were a group of 16 and it was perfect.There is a School nearby that operates Monday-Friday and it’s the only time you will find a place to eat near by. The walk to downtown is not bad going down hill but when you come back the hills are pretty steep,Gerardo did warn us a head of time so we were prepared for the hike.Gerardo was very help and any issues we had he responded and had the issue resolved in a timely manner he is a great host and made us feel at home.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable, and the accommodation had several useful amenities such as cookware, towels and shampoo. Overall it was a good stay. Communication with the host was excellent, always attentive and willing to answer our questions quickly. As a point to improve, the pool was not heated enough and the lights and the waterfall did not work. In addition, the sliding doors of the bathrooms were difficult to open and close, as they required a lot of effort.

It is a few steps away from downtown, everything is very nice and it fits many guests. It's 1 minute from Callejón del Beso. The pool is heated. Gerardo was always very friendly and attentive at all times, a very good host. Access is only pedestrian and it is a bit confusing because it is through an alley, but overall very good.

Excellent place, very close to downtown. In our case, it was perfect because we wanted to go out and everything was close, but in the afternoon we enjoyed the pool and the water is very warm, everything was great.

Gerardo was an amazing host! His communication was great. He even let us drop off our bags prior to check in so we can walk around. Let us check in early as well! Whenever we had a question he responded very quickly.

Stayed at Casa del Mundo with a large group and used every room, space and bed. Gerardo helpfully sent a staff person to help with a minor issue on day one. The instructions for the parking and entry were extremely clear. The space was great for our large family! Loved spending time in Guanajuato.
