This place is ideal for families or large groups. It has plenty of space, privacy, vegetation that provides shade, and friendly and helpful staff. We felt very well cared for and comfortable. We also really liked the beach, and access is right next to the accommodation. A good place to spend two nights or more.

Great place! They own many AirBnBs in the area and handled it all professionally. We came with a group and everyone liked it.

A spectacular place!

We had a great stay at Casa Maya! It had everything we needed. Quiet and private location with access to the beach. The grounds keepers were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet and relaxing stay away from all the crowds and noise.

My wife’s family is from the area and this is our favorite spot to stay Rene the caretaker is extremely responsible and made us feel safe and right at home. This will be the place we stay from now on can’t recommend this place enough

This property was perfect for our family vacation with six adults and one child. Plenty of rooms and comfortable outdoor seating area. We alternated between time at the beach or in the pool. The perfect relaxing beach vacation! As for local wildlife, it was around but mostly avoided us. We didn’t find this bothersome at all. Gracias to Carlos and his family for checking in each day and assisting us during our stay!

It's a nice old-fashioned house. The large house has no living room. There are three bedrooms and two toilets. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the furniture was quite simple and nice. The master bedroom has a nice view of the pool. The only downside is that the large windows were very dirty, both on the inside and outside. What we liked the most was that the house is located in a very private area far from other houses. The kitchen for cooking is large and nice. The distance to the sea was maybe 25 meters to the beach. We were a group of 8 people and would have appreciated at least 2 more hammocks and 2 more beds by the pool; otherwise, everything was OK. We appreciated how friendly, helpful and nice the caretaker Carlos was. He is really a star and made our stay even better. I would definitely come back.

Zedrick: We had an absolutely wonderful stay, and I cannot recommend Zedrick's place highly enough!. Zedrick was an incredible host, extremely communicative, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. The property itself was beautiful, spotless, confortable, and incredibly peaceful. We were there celebrating my upcoming birthday alongside my mother (who just turned 78), my aunt Elvia, my cousin Luis, and my friend Rudy. Every single one of us loved it. Being out in the open surrounded by nature and listening to the soothing sound of the ocean, was pure heaven. It was the perfect quiet getaway. Thank you, Zedrick, for hosting our family and making my birthday celebration so incredibly special.

Everything was great I was a little worried because I didn’t read the description about the steps but they weren’t as bad as I thought it’s a few steps then you walk a little then another few steps so it was definitely not as bad as I thought however once you get down it is completely worth it! Overall great property and the dock is amazing 🤩

I loved staying here! The place is pretty secluded so make sure you take everything you might need, as the listing says. The house was clean and relaxing. Everyone we encountered were incredibly helpful and nice. The beach was a bit wild for the littles to swim in, so we loved having the pool option. Nonetheless, the sunsets at the beach were beautiful and exploring the beach was delightful. The atmosphere is great. We will definitely plan to be back here.

The house is spacious and has many areas to spend time in. It is a quiet area with large green spaces. Access has a part of the street that is a bit narrow, but following the directions with the GPS, it's easy to find. If you can stay more than one day, it's ideal for enjoying the lake and the house.

René is amazing.. he’s the one that takes care of the house there.. and can text him and he will reply asap . Please treat him nicely..

Great family stay to unwind, private access to the beach! Refreshing Pool and a lot of sitting areas! Kitchen has everything you need to cook for a family! There definitely is a lot of critters but it was all part of the experience.

Lovely, lovely lovely place. The only thing I didn’t like was that I had to go downstairs like 100 stairs but everything else was beautiful and lovely so if you’re not a person that likes to go up and downstairs, this is not the right place for you, but if you don’t mind doing that the place is lovely.

The house its beautiful the beach is so close to the house you can hear the waves from the house. The closest market its like 20 min away so make sure you are prepared with food. The house its a little far from the entrance and the dirt road its kind of narrow, I would suggest a truck or SUV to move around but overall we all enjoyed the stay and Don Carlos the man who takes care of the house is so nice and helpful.

absolutely breathtaking !!!!!!!! me and my family were constantly calling it the crab house cause there were crabs walking even in the house. we love nature so we absolutely loved it. the rooms were super clean and neat and we loved all the hangout spots. waking up in the morning to walk right to the beach was also a treat and such a beautiful thing to wake up to

Loved the stay. The place is a true paradise; everywhere you look, it's relaxing and beautiful. It's like a hacienda on Lake Coatepeque. Beautiful and ideal for groups of 9–10 people. I would come back!

Super friendly, Mr. Carlos was always attentive to everything we needed, and the hosts immediately addressed any small requests or issues. They were very kind and efficient, and the place was very nice and quiet. ✨

Stayed at Casa Maya for 2 nights, and it was not long enough! The place was breathtaking, everything from the lovely outdoor space, to the private beach access. The place was very spacious and well equipped (bring your own coffee though!) The caretaker for the property, Carlos, was also very friendly and attentive, helped us with recommendations on where to buy food, and even offered to pick up the food for us. The property is peaceful and very secluded, so there are no stores or restaurants within walking distance. The beach was so beautiful at sunset, no one around as far as the eye could see. The waves were perhaps too strong for little ones to play in the water, so having our own swimming pool was awesome! You may encounter harmless lizards or dogs wandering on to the property, which we did not mind at all. Mosquitoes can be a problem at night (bring big spray!) Overall we had a very lovely vacation and would highly recommend Casa Maya as a place to stay while in El Salvador.

This place is beautiful , private, a paradise oasis. Hosts were very responsive, Carlos the caretaker is wonderful. The outdoor shower, the pool and the sea was everything. We highly recommend this place. Lots of wild animals and critters around so prepare for that as well. Wonderful stay.

Although the house is rustic and could use some updates, the location is absolutely awesome. Carlos, the caretaker, is attentive and friendly. Altogether, our stay was very pleasant.

Fantastic stay! The house was spotless, comfortable, and accommodating. The host was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations, Would definitely stay here again. Recommendation, use Waze instead of Google Maps. Waze was more accurate taking us directly to the house. While Google Maps took us in the wrong turn. Road is bumpy but manageable with any sedan at slow pace. Yes, there were lot of stairs steps but it’s not too bad; in our family group we had two elderly of 88 and 86 years old and they manage to get down in one trip without having to stop. But they don’t have any physical impediments which is always a plus. The key attraction for our family stay was definitely the sunset at the lake dock. Can’t miss that and swimming in the lake too it’s a must, we had so much fun swimming in a clear turquoise water. This was a top plus for us. Keep up with the good work. Thanks for having us.

Great place we throughly enjoyed!

Casa maya is a beautiful private location the groundskeeper Carlos provided us with nonstop fresh coconuts and firewood for the amazing grill. The privacy on the beach is unimaginable. Where else in the world can you walk in pristine beaches for 40 minutes each direction without seeing another person! Our family enjoyed the sunsets on many evenings. In some ways I hope casa maya stays there exact way it is but something tells me the area will develop to be much busier in the coming years

A spectacular and super complete place for a multi-day stay!

Paradise on the lake! Spent a long weekend with my family (2 adults and 2 children) and we loved every minute of it. The location is beautiful, the garden glorious and the interior very cosy and comfortable. We can’t wait to comeback!

It's worth it if your mission is to disconnect from the city and spend a good day at the beach with the family, a very welcoming place, we had some problems during the stay but they were resolved very well, these things happen, but from there everything was great

The pictures do not do this place justice. It feels right at home. The property caretakers do an amazing job & were very helpful. It’s a huge property & very secluded. Very spacious & beautiful. Pro tip: take food & water. There aren’t many places to eat or buy beverages.

Our experience at this place was exceptional for our brand photo shoot. The place provided a perfect atmosphere. The process was incredibly simple; the host was very flexible and helped us coordinate everything we needed to maximize our session. The natural lighting in the space was fantastic, which made capturing each shot a pleasure. We definitely recommend this place for any photography project.

The place is 100% recommended, with privacy and natural beauty, bathing in the pool and the lake is refreshing, just consider that it is cold but manageable water, the pool is heated, the stay includes 1 hour, you can ask for more time for an additional cost, the way the house connects with nature is spectacular, the attention of Alexis, the caretaker of the place, is excellent. The host's response was super fast. If it is 100% necessary for the arrival 4x4 but this makes it even more special and in the center of the lake village, if it is done in advance, you can find 4x4 rental or you can do it by boat at the piers, so you must bring everything you need in terms of food.

I think the pictures doesn’t give Casa Maya justice ! If you are trying to get away from everything and recharge - this IS the place ! Had such a great time with my family - and Carlos it’s AMAZING! Will definitely be back ! ❤️

A phenomenal place, it's worth the effort to get there because the stay makes up for everything. The host was attentive at all times and the young man who takes care of the ranch attended to every requirement we needed and was too kind. He even helped us unload and load our luggage. 100% recommended

We had a good stay and enjoyed our time. It’s pretty long to get there and kinda deep into the country side of the beach. It gave a good rancho vibe so I definitely recommend this place.

I was looking for a very private peaceful house to get away from and this house offered that and more. My children and I had the best time here to reconnect and just relax . The pool and private beach were a win and the only thing to accompany us was the sound of waves. The experience was all that we expected! Beautiful house with a beautiful set up! Just beautiful!!

I want to start off by saying this was the most beautiful villa I have ever seen. The house and the beach were so incredibly gorgeous and the caretaker Carlos was INCREDIBLE. He was so kind and so helpful with everything we needed. I cannot recommend this place enough. Make sure you have sturdy transportation to and from as the road is very rough and hard on cars. The house itself is perfect for a large family but also wonderful for a couples getaway. Private beach access is amazing and the pool is perfection. The trees provide the perfect amount of shade and sunlight for laying by the pool or lounging in the many chairs. 10/10
