We were lucky enough to meet our host in person. John is a very warm and wonderful person. One of his projects is caring for hungry and sick animals in the area. His dedication to this really impressed me! The accommodation is the best in Pochomil; we felt very comfortable and safe. If you plan to cook for yourself, you should stock up on essentials at a supermarket before arriving in Pochomil, as there aren't many shops in the village. Several restaurants are within walking distance. We would definitely book this accommodation again. John, all the best to you and Franki, keep up the great work! ;-) We need more people like you in this world!

John and his employees are excellent, very nice, help us with any questions. The place is beautiful, it's like in a movie, being there, it's exactly as pictured. ***don't forget for your memorable stay to do a good grocery shopping before arriving because fish and seafood no problem fishing village next door correct price and 30 min walk or taxi +/-3$ us, fruit vegetables local merchant excellent, for the rest happy go very limited and more expensive *** Otherwise, waking up with the birds singing, having breakfast with the cat and dog of the house while watching the Pacific and basking in the sun and in the pool sipping a Ton̈as is what awaits you!!!!If you are looking for tranquility, it is an oasis of peace. go quickly 💙🤍💙🤍🐶🐯

The Beach House in Pochomil is a wonderful choice for your visit. I can’t say how much we enjoyed the peaceful and serene grounds, the clean and cozy casita and the community style kitchen experience. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and clean! It was all so welcoming and lovely. John Paul was a joy to chat with. He was helpful, informative and supportive. We had a small medical situation with a friend before even checking in and he directed us on exactly what to do and gave us solace with his words. We feel so grateful for this host and space. Highly recommended.

The place matches the photos, it is in a quiet and safe area, with my family we walked on the beach and my children enjoyed the sea and the pool. In the local market they sell fresh fish, at a good price!

We had a wonderful stay in Pochomil. The property is beautiful, spacious, and has everything you could need from a pool and plenty of lounge areas to direct beach access. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the ocean. Very secure too, as everything is gated. The home is managed by a lovely family who were incredibly attentive and made sure all our needs were taken care of. We felt very well looked after and truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the area.

The place is just as it looks in the photos. Easy to find and very cozy. The house is very tidy and has everything you need for cooking. The view of the beach is amazing! I would definitely stay here again!

John Paul is a wonderful human. His attention towards the guests is probably the best I have had at any Airbnb I have stayed. He communicated with us several times during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. The house/compound is beautiful and peaceful. He also has some toys such as boogie boards and snorkel gear for you to use. I will definitely be coming back and next time with my wife as I think she would love the beach vibe. This morning I was able to have a cup of coffee and chat with Jon Paul a bit to learn how he acquired the property. The house was built with a very special wood and it has a really cool beach cabin feel. I don’t think anyone would be able to find another place like this in the surrounding area.

Fabulous stay at John Paul’s property. The beach house is a piece of paradise open directly on the Pochomil beach, perfect for chill, sea activities and admiring one of the most beautiful sunsets. John Paul was very easy to communicate with and answered all our needs. Totally recommandable. (Beware on the rocks in the beach, they can be very sharp! My friend got injured :’( but could have a very good rest and recovery at the Beach House)

We stayed three nights at this beautiful, quiet and private beach house. The location is fantastic, right on the beach. Restaurants and small shops are within walking distance. For the big shopping we recommend San Rafael del Sur. We really enjoyed the pool.

House was great. We enjoyed the pool and beach walks. Not many grocery stores near by so definitely shop prior in neighboring town. Instructions provided to locate the home are pretty clear but we ran into a closed road due to excessive rain which caused us to find an alternative road which got a little confusing and host wasn’t responding but once we arrived everything was great.

This place was beautiful, relaxing and just wonderful! They were very responsive and accommodated me at the last minute. It was a wonderful stay and the only negative is that I didn't get to stay longer. If I'm back in Nicaragua I would 100% stay here again! Loved it!

It was a really nice time, traveling with a baby is challenging at times but it was really nice she had a nice time, could walk to the beach or stay in the pool, simply one of the best locations and has anything you might need for the stay! :) Great experience.

We enjoyed our stay and the location.... everything went smoothly and we appreciated the flexible laid back attention as provided by the host. The pool next to the beach was an added treat for relaxing and enjoying the very private and accommodating setting...We would return without hesitation given the opportunity.

Location can’t be better if you are looking to spent a lot of time on the beach. Great to have a pool and shaded yard to rest after all the fun on the beach. We will definitely be back again.

While bathing in the pool among flowers,butterflies,you will be able to see the wild hummingbirds eat.de their flowers. Spectacular to see.como. The ascent of the sea reaches the same gate where you jump from the sea water pool. Beautiful construction all of natural materials,lots of wood and stone or clay bricks. No noise,maximum privacy, and comfort. And always the personal.de service.a its layout ,nice and friendly. Not only would I repeat, but that I would stay for long seasons. Magnificent fish in the area ,and with a great kitchen in the fully equipped house. Unforgettable experience

This private casita is a hidden gem in the town of Masachapa. The pictures are more than accurate and one can only see the beauty of this place by staying in it. Yerling who was there during our stay was helpful, super friendly and very kind. The tips offered by John are also very helpful during the stay and to get around. We were super happy with the well equipped kitchen, all the amenities and the wonderful pool with breathtaking view. A must visit for adventurers, families and surfers.

We are a family of 4 who originally booked 4 nights at John’s place and ended up staying for a whole week! The place is spacious, clean, right on the beach, the pool is really cool with a shower right next to it. Really convenient when you come back for the beach. The accomodations are spacious and comfortable, shower has got pressure and hot water is available. The kitchen is really well equipped with all you need. Don’t forget to do you groceries in San Raphael del Sur before coming as there are no real shops in Pochomil. John was really helpful and responsive. And the local helping him really kind. Bobby the dog is really well behaved and does not bark. There are few pulperias and restaurants on Pochomil beach where local food is served. (10 min walk) We would advise this place to anyone looking for a hideaway. It is a pure gem! Thanks John for everything!

We stayed 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. Great location, relaxing and very secure. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and comfortable. Johns description is accurate, but he exceeded our expectations. The caretaker is handy, multi talented and helpful. Masachapa is a fun town to explore. Thanks John

I’d highly recommend Paul’s place located in this beautiful and safe house right in front of the beach and with all the basic amenities you may need. All the restaurants, horse back riding and motorcycles activities are short walk distance from the house where you could just sit, relax and wait for the most beautiful sunset. Thank you!!

We spent a really great time in pochomil due to this great place. The set up is amazing and the location is perfect. The housekeeper yerling is great and can help you in whatever you need. The price is really good comparing to other offers in the area so do not hesitate to book here you'll not regret it.

John is a wonderful hist and his place is amazing! The bed is super comfy and the rooms very spacious. The common kitchen is equiped with everything you can possibly think of. And nothing beats a gorgeous sunset while enjoying his pool or spa right at the border of the beach! One if the best airbnb experiences ever!

We spent 2 nights in John Paul's house. The host was not present but was concerned about the quality of our stay. The house is very nice, located by the ocean, and Yerling (the caretaker) is particularly friendly. Accommodation to be recommended !

We had a great time. The beach and pool is excellent. The house is beautiful. Rn a very safe environment and very well serviced by the host. My wife and children keep good memories of their vacation. Don't miss out. Recommended.
