Great place, great location, highly recommend, close to Oxxo and shopping

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property from August 5th through August 11th. Everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, spacious, and very well maintained. The pool was fantastic, and having easy access to the beach made our vacation even more enjoyable. The property felt very safe and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We especially want to thank Fernanda, the property manager. She was outstanding, answering all our questions quickly, providing access codes, and suggesting great places to visit. Our family truly enjoyed our time here, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommend it. Thank you, Fernanda and team. That would read as a strong five-star review and give Fernanda the recognition she deserves.

When we arrived at the house, we realized there was no water; it was certainly inconvenient, though we understood nothing could be done since we check-in at 8 p.m. However, the problem was fixed the next morning, and everything was great from then on—the house was very clean, and we enjoyed the pool and the barbecue grill.

Our stay was fantastic. Everything was clean and exactly as pictured. The host was super responsive.

A very nice place to be as a family

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property for families and small group gatherings. The host was extremely responsive, and both the check-in and check-out processes were seamless and stress-free. Everything in the home was in working condition, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. The pool was a great bonus—our kids really enjoyed having that space to relax and play. The location is fantastic, just steps from the beach, and the area felt very safe and walkable. It’s about a 20-minute walk to restaurants and shops, which we found very convenient. Being next to the ruins was also a unique highlight and made for a fun outing during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time there. The only enhancement we’d suggest is adding some shade on the roof area, but aside from that, everything was great. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay! The house was very clean, 1 block walk to the beach, and pool and back yard grill were perfect for hanging out with the family. The host was also very kind and quick to respond to all messages. Would highly recommend for family vacations.

Such a nice place, one block away from the beach, the house is huge and has everything you need to cook, enjoy the pool and even do a bbq. The beach on the area wasn’t crowded which is nice. Awesome place

We had a very good stay. It was perfect for 6 adults and 2 kids. Very easy communication. Lovely area to stay in and the pool was great. Would return!

Playacar is a nice neighborhood well secure and an easy walk to 5th avenue. The home was well accommodating for a group and just like the pictures. They also included filtered water which was nice. We enjoyed our stay!

We felt right at home. Spacious for the whole family. Gorgeous pool area and gym. Very safe and secure. Excellent location, very walkable. Would definitely stay here again.

I spent a week with my family. We were six in total. The place looks like the pictures. The location is perfect and it is two minute walk to Quinta Avenida. The parking is included. I had a big USV and the space was not a problem. The master bathroom vanity needs minor fixing but besides that everything else was perfect. If I go back to Playa Del Carmen I will stay in this apartment.

This Riviera rental was in the perfect location, beautiful front porch and very clean house and pool . I would highly recommend to stay here. I can wait to come back.

Everything was excellent. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing.Communication with the host was very good and he was always attentive.I definitely recommend it and I would stay here again.

Recently stayed here with my family. Place is very spacious, perfect for big families. Place is clean and you have all amenities. We loved it because we were on a great location, you literally walk out and you’re on fifth avenue!Every thing is walking distance and beach is 10 minutes walking. The pool is a plus it was right outside our room and it’s perfect after a long hot day at the beach. The only downside i would say about this place is there’s no washer and drawer, you have to look around for laundry service. Some places have pick up service but it’s expensive.

Our stay at Riviera Rentals was nice. However, we had several electrical issues including the washing machine and the upstairs air conditioner both went out. The Riviera was very responsive and helped to resolve the issues, but It put a bit of a damper on the trip. The rooms were fine and plenty of bathrooms, but the communal space is small, with very little space to walk around the pool. It's in a safe location, 20 minute walk from town, and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Side note, the chef recommended by the Riviera was excellent. I highly recommend using Signora Alba at least once during your stay. It was a homey, delicious, and authentic meal.

Wonderful place to stay at. Close by to the beach and 5th street. Everyone was helpful and nice. We would stay there again.

The place was just like in the pictures, super close to everything and nightlife (200 meters) At night, you couldn't hear any noise to sleep. We had 2 complications with the light in a bedroom and a bathroom, but they were always willing to solve them. Communication is very easy and they always respond super fast. I would stay here again and recommend it

The host is very friendly, the apartment is located in a nice area very close to the beach and tourist area, you can find shops, restaurants, nightclubs, everything was very clean, it is as seen in the photos, it has its own parking lot.

Thanks to riviera rentals for a great experience. Airbnb was in prime location! Close to beach and 5th avenue! Huge 3 bedroom with a very big kitchen and large dining area. Ground floor helped as there was no elevator to deal with! Clean very warm pool and spotless campus…air conditioner worked well well and the host was fast to resolve any issues we had! Would highly recommend!

We chose Hacienda Mexico as a base for a large group of adults for a week before a destination wedding, and it was perfect. Starting the day with coffee on the roof terrace watching the Caribbean sunrise, followed by a swim in the warm private pool, then off for adventure in the surrounding area and then walking to Fith Avenue for evening fun. We parked three cars with ease and had loads of room for everyone to have their own space Highly recommended

Great location very close to Quintq Avenue, you have many options of restaurants and bars a few steps away. Very close to the beach too, unfortunately there was a lot of seaweed due to the season, but the pool was a very good option for relaxation. Highly recommended for group trips, friends or family.

Beautiful house, the living room and kitchen a bit small but well but together the kitchen had everything u need to cook anything you like. place super clean beds very comfortable. one of the upstairs bedroom has a beautiful ceiling with nice lighting coming through.The pool and the jacuzzi are perfect for a relaxing day. Good location! very walkable to the beach and to playa del carmen mall and fifth Ave. overall a great house it made us feel at home. I will definitely stay in this house in the near future vacation!!!!

The house is absolutely beautiful, well appointed with everything we needed for a week. We were a group of 10, and the house had lots of space to spread out. It's laid out with 2 bedrooms on the mainfloor with main kitchen, table and couches. Upstairs has 4 more rooms with a smaller kitchen, so worked very well for our group. It's a short walk to fifth Ave. The area felt very safe and was very comfortable. The pool was nice to have, we swam pretty much everyday. It's about a 2 minute walk to the beach, and has great views from the rooftop deck. We asked a few questions of the host while there and they were very responsive, which was really reassuring . We would definitely stay again!

It is a very large and comfortable apartment on the first floor, with 2 floors and everything you need to enjoy it. Everything was clean and tidy, with a very nice private patio. The pool is always impeccable and the staff is very friendly.

Excellent. An Eden. The house is great, very spacious, enough bathrooms, a pool, air conditioning, TV, fans, everything was excellent, the area is 100% residential. Quick access, 24-hour security, super close to get to the beach. I would recommend it 100%, I will return again. Very friendly and helpful host at all times, he cleared up all my doubts and was available every day. Thank you very much for everything! We were fascinated!!!

We had a great time at Riviera Rentals. We were a family of 9, 7 adults and 2 teens. Plenty of space for everyone. The management was very helpful and contacted me every morning to see if there was anything we needed. We were there for 2 weeks and twice they offered a free cleaning. It was great to have a washing machine and dryer in the house as well. The beautiful beach is literally steps away with multiple access spots. A 15 min walk gets you to the south end of 5th avenue which was great early in the morning for coffee or an after dinner stroll. Would highly recommend this place.

Everything very well would definitely return to this accommodation, good area 3 min from the 5th, 5 min from the sea, good parking, good attention, the very chido depa, nothing more like Observation do not throw the sand or food in the laundry of the lava Fastes Batallamos to wash them.

This hacienda is an amazing find. It’s block from the beach, in a beautiful neighborhood, walkable to the town and a comfortable place to hang out and enjoy the balmy weather. The concierge service was outstanding. Better than a full service hotel in my opinion. They recommended restaurants, things to do, organized taxis and can even deliver groceries. Highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful place! Everything about it was awesome. The location was a block from 5th avenue! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent house for large families, just as described. My family and friends were delighted with the house. The very nice subdivision and the beach walked 2 min. The Concierge was always attentive and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. The only bad thing and it's not about the accommodation, is that a neighbor complained about the noise when we were in the pool at 8 pm with family noise having fun in the pool (we didn't have a horn or anything like that) nor that way they are in the pool and don't have fun in it and don't do it quietly, but everything is excellent

It was perfect. It was just what we all needed to "re-set". We loved the location and the whole experience was so easy...concierge was great, shuttle driver was so kind, yoga instructor was wonderful, chefs were incredible, and on and on... lol. Thank you for setting us up with that incredible place. I'm so so glad we did Playacar. We felt safe the whole time. It was the BEST girls trip we've ever done.

Our family had a wonderful stay there it was close to the shopping centers and beachs.

The place is the same as the description, we find it easy and in an area very close to Fifth Avenue. At all times they were in contact with us to see if everything was going well, the administration and the surveillance were always friendly. The plancha didn't work, I mentioned it to the admirer and I fix it immediately. The place is clean and very well conditioned. I would come back without hesitation and I highly recommend it.

Good location, less than 5min walking to the famous 5th avenue and the beach. We received detailed instructions that made the check-in very easy. Good communication and quick responses with concierge.

We loved our stay. Hosts were very responsive. The place was beautiful and clean. It was great for our big group. The grandparents stayed on main floor and all the kids and grandkids stayed upstairs. The views of the ocean on the roof deck were worth a million bucks. We had to leave another Airbnb in the middle of our stay because the other place was so awful. This just saved our vacation. It’s guarded with security so you felt very safe. It’s walkable to great shopping and restaurants. I can’t say enough good things. If we ever come again, we will be booking this home.

Beautiful place, nice vibe inside, strong air condition which relaxes your body in hot weather, few steps from beach as well as Main Street. Comfortable bed and nice bathrooms… definitely one of best place to stay in Playa del Carmen.

The condo was spacious and very nicely decorated. It was perfect for my family of 7. It is located within walking distance to everything...the beach, shopping, restaurants, nightlife on la Quinta avenida and tour pick-up locations. It was very quiet and clean. Riviera rental representatives communicated clear instructions and were responsive if something was needed. Unfortunately the pool was not available during our stay . We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property.

I'd like to start by saying Riviera Rentals are incredibly friendly and responsive to all my needs at all times. the place was beautiful and spacious. very close to the beach. got to see beautiful animals walking by, deer, cats, sereques. great fun experience I felt safe in the neighborhood. this was family friendly great pool. I would totally book again.

Wonderful stay! The house is exactly like in the pictures, extremely clean and cozy, I was attended at different times very quickly and kindly. It is possible to reach the 5th avenue which is amazing walking 20 minutes and the condominium is very quiet.
