Nice place to rest and be close to everything, enjoying the beach and many places nearby

We had a great stay. Fernando was our point of contact and he is super friendly, responsive and helpful. The home was exactly how it is pictured in the listing and the instructions on how to get to the home were super helpful and clear. There is a beach entrance very close to the property however it is rocky. Lupita, the cook, walked my husband to a different area/entrance to a part of the beach that is sandy and so beautiful. Lupita and her help were both so kind and cooked a delicious breakfast típico. The service was 5⭐️. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

The accommodation has everything needed for a good weekend at the beach. Excellent place, quiet, safe and close to many restaurants.

our stay was very peacefull. our flight was changed for a earlier arrival and John managed to check us in earlier than the posted check in.... over all we all felt very safe .... I would highly recomend this home for parties of 6 or less.

This property is absolutely stunning! The view of beach is breathtaking. The rooms are spacious and clean and they all have a beautiful view. The outside common areas are spacious and so very welcoming. My family and I had a blast in this home and will be staying here again!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The location was perfect.  One of our favorite parts of the property was the backyard; it was such a relaxing space to hang out and unwind. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We’d definitely come back! Lupita was extremely helpful with transport recommendeds. One of the best cooks we had during our 2-week vacation in El Salvador, such a great & humble person. We enjoyed her company, we even shared a meal together.

John’s place was beautiful. The place was as described. We loved spending time in the backyard. Whether it was meals in the outdoor dining area, naps in the hammocks or sunsets in the pool. The house is close to surfing beaches. John is a friendly responsive host. We would book there again!

Home was just as shown in the photos. The access to the beach was ideal for our family trip to El Salvador. The home is close to el Tunco and when timed right, you could get to the grocery store in 10-20 minutes. Would recommend for those traveling with young kids because the home also includes a pool that has shade throughout the day.

Awesome cozy place, love the mango tree outside and the scenery. It was a good place to stay ... not oceanfront at all. But a good stay with a great view.

My second stay at Casa Margaritas was just as amazing as the first! The space is beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxing with loved ones—plus the ocean view is absolutely stunning. It truly feels like a home away from home. Can’t recommend it enough—I’ll definitely be back!

We had an incredible stay here with our three kids (13, 11, 10). The views, the hammocks, and having Lupita cook dinner for us was a highlight!

We loved the house and the beautiful views. Lupita took excellent care of us and is a wonderful cook. Two things to note: there are no beach towels, which is surprising for a home with a pool and near the ocean. The main road is also very close, and truck noise is noticeable. That said, it’s a great place and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Las Lunas was a great place to just retreat and relax and luckily so as my son and daughter-in-law were under the weather for most of our trip. If we had to get "stuck" staying in someplace, this was an ideal one. The house is clean, comfortable, quiet and private. a well equipped grocery store and farmacia were very close. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the pool and cooked-in most nights. When we were all feeling better there was lots to do in the nearby area. As my daughter-in-law put it, we only got to see the "movie trailer" of a true Salvadorean vacation, so we'll be back for the full length feature at a later date! Thanks to Lupita and John - great accommodation and hosting!

This house was the highlight of our trip! The pool was absolutely amazing with the ocean views, especially during sunrise and sunset. We loved relaxing in the pool and the hammocks. Lupita, The house keeper was absolutely amazing as well. She made home cooked meals for us during our stay, which was way better than spending money out at restaurants that are just over crowded with extremely longs waits. All of her meals were amazing (pupusas, sopa de pollo, típico Salvadoran breakfast, just to name a few). Not only did she cook for us but she took care of me and bought me medicine and herbal teas one of the nights I got sick. I will definitely be coming back and of course have Lupita make some yummy meals for us.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Margaritas. John and his wife Sandra were fantastic hosts, and their communication was excellent from start to finish. Lupita made us the best pupusas we’ve ever had. She is incredibly sweet and truly made our stay special. The views are absolutely incredible; we were able to watch the sunrise from the house and the sunset from the beach all in the same day, which was unforgettable. We also loved spending time at the private black sand beach. It was truly an enjoyable experience, and we would highly recommend staying here.

it's a very quiet, safe place. Check-in is easy and it's close to restaurants and attractions. What I liked most is the pool because of its size, depth and temperature. Very comfortable beds. To spend several days with the family.

The place is great to the point that I extended my stay, I just couldn’t resist staying. Lupita is the best host I have ever had in the history of being a member with Airbnb. She came in the mornings and cook for or us when she dis not have to do it. She is great I recommend this place to any one.

We had a great stay at John's place. It was exactly as described in the photos, the pool was perfect for the kids, and the beach was only a few minutes walk. The rooftop deck was a nice unique touch. The only downside was the shower in the biggest bedroom had no pressure or hot water. Even still, we will likely look to rebook for a short beach getaway!

The beach house was absolutely stunning! The location was perfect - we had a rocky beach just a stone’s throw away, and a black sand beach a quick 5-minute walk. The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. Lupita was incredibly welcoming and even offered to whip up some delicious food for us. And let me tell you, the pool was our absolute favorite! The kids had an absolute blast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The view was incredible, and the landscape was absolutely gorgeous. You will find yourself mesmerized by the beauty of the plants, flowers, and trees. The house was well-maintained, and the air conditioning worked perfectly without any issues. Lupita welcomed us on our first day & later assisted us with laundry and cleaning. The landscaping and pool staff come by every day to clean the pool. While there may be moments when you don't have privacy due to their presence, they are respectful and leave you alone once they finish their work. The property is situated in a great community with plenty of restaurants nearby, whether in El Tunco, El Sunzal, or El Zonte. We recommend renting a vehicle since the restaurants are not within walking distance. We would definitely consider returning in the future. Thank you John, Sandra & Lupita.

John’s place is beautiful, private, and in a great location. The beach is just a short walk away, making it a perfect getaway. I also really appreciate the last-minute accommodations. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

We loved this house. Now that I am home I think about it frequently and imagine myself relaxing by that pool amidst the beautiful gardens. I appreciated the maintenance workers. You almost dont notice them. Someone comes quietly every morning to take care of the pool so it is always sparkling. Lupita is great. We didn’t really need her services for the short time she was there but she is a darling.

One of the best places that jos remains

Our stay at Casa Luna was great. Lupita is an amazing person who was there any moment of the day. She speaks so well of the owners and she adds a lot of value to the house. We stayed w our family and our puppy Luna ! We didn’t realize the name of the house until Lupita had told us ! We all loved it, its clean, great area, the beach was clean and water was warm and fun to swim in, Lupita offered to cooked us breakfast and she made us a delicious desayuno típico, and it was great to share our mornings w her. Definitely would recommend and would definitely come back!

I love the house, the view, the beautiful sunrises, the privacy and security. I love how helpful and friendly Lupita is. She made our stay more enjoyable and stress free.

This did not feel like an airbnb house it felt like a home. Lupita was like family to us, we were so blessed to have her there, I was sick for a few days, her home made soup made with fresh herbs, spices and love was helpful. John it’s great to hear that you and your wife treat her with such love and respect, she speaks very highly of you guys and it’s refreshing to hear that.

Excellent place with beautiful views. It was a little tricky finding the house because they are no street signs. When we arrived we were greeted by Lupita. We enjoyed the pool and private beach. Lupita was the best, she made breakfast and dinner for us. Surf City and restaurants near by. Great stay overall.

This place is just beautiful, so peaceful exactly how is described in the pictures, very clean and neat, the pool is amazing, the house it’s like 3 minutes walking distance from the beaches, beautiful views from the rooftop, there is also food delivery and a shopping center very close by, we had a great time as a family vacation, we highly recommended ❤️

The outdoor was stunning, exquisite, peaceful. I was able to relax and do some work outside. The house provides the essentials that are needed, it is comfortable and private. The workers around the house were helpful and respectful, everyone was friendly. The beach is beautiful, and the view is amazing. Overall the house and location were great. Amazing vacation!!

Jon was responsive, answering right away. The place is beautiful, clean, bright and modern - very comfortable. Everything was clean. We were a little taken aback that the grounds and pool maintenance people came into the yard and worked while we were enjoying the outside space. As a group of women, that was a bit uncomfortable for us. We would have liked a warning that it would happen throughout the day, so we hope this review informs future guests. Otherwise, it was such a wonderful, comfortable stay!

I had the pleasure of staying in a beautiful beach house, and the experience was truly exceptional. The house was impeccably clean and well-organized, with three spacious bedrooms, each equipped with a private bathroom. Every detail was carefully considered, ensuring maximum comfort. The location of the house is perfect: it’s in a beautiful area with breathtaking sea views, and there are excellent restaurants nearby where we enjoyed delicious meals.

Best Airbnb experience I’ve had! The private location was awesome and allowed for freedom to walk around the beach and area with ease. There wasn’t a crowded beach, it was super peaceful! The views were IMMACULATE! They were so breathtaking, I would lay on the hammocks watching & listening to the ocean. The pool was awesome to have as convenient for families! The community pool is awesome too if you need a bigger swimming space! The ocean was gorgeous and UNREAL! Never thought that it would’ve been so warm!!! The local restaurants had GREAT FOOD & GREAT EXPERIENCES! My favorite is Beto’s, the food was so fresh, well plated, and the seating is on a cliff above the ocean. Perfect date night spot! The workers within the community were so helpful, always answering questions and even opened up a fresh coconut from the trees for me. This Airbnb was top tier for me. The inside and outside of the home was clean & pretty. My family will be staying here again, made my trip one I won’t forget.

We stayed at John's place, everything as described in the publication, Lupita is an excellent person, who helped us with the doubts we had, John was precise in indicating the location of the place, the rooms are as seen in the photos, the pool is in excellent condition. Property was exactly as described, plus extremely clean, fresh, and very easy to find. A gated community and very secure. Close to all locations around Surf City area. The walk to the beach was just a couple of minutes from the house. One part of the beach was large boulders which was beautiful, and the other was excellent sand with great waves to play in. We had a wonderful time on the beach each day. Lupita took amazing care of us. She went to the market, bought fresh fish, and cooked a couple of fabulous meals. We appreciated being able to hire Lupita to do extra things which was an extra bonus to our vacation. The pool outside was perfect for relaxing privately. Third floor deck on top of the house was a great place to relax and have a glass of wine. A full house AC was a plus, beds were comfortable, and bedrooms quiet also amazing water pressure and very hot water. The host Tom was great and we were made to feel right at home. We highly recommend this property!!! We will be back.

The house is just as seen in the photos, pleasant , comfortable and with spectacular views of the sea and the Salvadoran coast. It is close to restaurants and is secure by being inside a condominium . The private beach makes it great for families with children .

This is an amazing house in a wonderful community of homes. It is secure, it is very well maintained and the grounds in the community are in great shape as well. We could not have been happier anywhere else! Lupita, the lady managing the house, is super responsive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. WOW! What an incredible stay. I am extremely happy with John and Lupita. They were both so welcoming. The check-in was easy in a private complex, the place was spotless and smelled great, and the pool was clean and ready for use. The house is perfect for a group of 5. You have 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, AC in all rooms, a nice outside table to eat from, and hammocks to lay and read from. Additional recommendation- if you are renting a vehicle a pick-up truck is very helpful and the home has parking for you. Lupita was such an amazing house manager. She checked in with us every day to make sure everything was alright. She made us breakfast on some mornings and ordered delivery for food to arrive at the home one night. There was heavy rain when we stood and Lupita kept us updated with the alerts and made some recommendations for our safety. She was truly like part of the family. I cannot wait to come back. Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed Casa Margaritas. Everything about this place is just beautiful, clean, and peaceful. We really enjoyed the nice clean pool, the hammocks, and the entire outdoor area. We also enjoyed the beautiful black sand beach that was just a few minutes away walking. Lupita, the house manager received us with a warm welcome and was very nice and friendly to us, thank you Lupita! I definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Our 2nd rental here. Beautiful location overlooking the ocean. Close to great restaurant options. The host is always responsive and Lupita can cook amazing meals with fresh seafood from the La Libertad market about 20 minutes away. Comfortable beds with updated furniture throughout. Great space to stay in as well and just enjoy family.

Amazing house with an amazing view, although it was a little pricey, unless you stay in the whole day you pay for or you’re there exactly at 2pm. Overall the house was nice, and have no complaints.
