We had a wonderful stay at Langosta Tamarindo. The location is hard to beat—just steps from the beach. It’s about a 20-minute walk into Tamarindo town, which we found to be the perfect balance. Langosta itself is much quieter and more relaxed, yet there are still about 6 great restaurants within easy walking distance. One of the highlights of the property is the pool area, which is beautiful and appears to have been recently upgraded. It’s a great spot to unwind and meet other travelers. The complex is gated with 24-hour security, which made us feel very safe, and it’s located on a paved road—definitely a plus in the area. The balcony was a favorite spot of ours, offering a peaceful green view of the trees and even the occasional iguana sighting. Inside, the unit had a large-screen TV and a spacious refrigerator with an ice maker, which was very convenient. One downside would be that the kitchen could use some updating. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Had a fantastic stay!

I’ve been visiting Costa Rica since 2015. This is by far one of my favorite places to stay. I will definitely be going back. The location is perfect. About 100 yards to the beach another hundred yards to a surfable spot sunsets out of this world the restaurants especially Walters fish and cheeses is amazing. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. The host Jean very friendly very helpful. Thank you again.

unfortunately pool was under renovations so most of the time not usable and the noise factor was disruptive.

Perfect beachfront stay! The apartment was clean, cozy and easy beach access. Family-friendly and welcoming, it truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Very good location, close to the beach, well equipped and safe. Excellent service from Maria. Workers were a little noisy early in the morning but we are morning and so it was a minor inconvenience. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay!! At no fault of Gail Jean, the pool was under repair and she worked so hard to create other options for us so we could enjoy a pool. 100% recommend!

Great choice of accommodation due to its proximity to the beach and pool, you are literally meters away from reaching one of the best beaches in Costa Rica (Playa Langosta). The apartment has AA, which is ideal for the high temperatures in the area. The kitchen is an additional plus, this had all the elements to prepare breakfast & Cenas. Finally, the location of the apartment is in an area with very good options for Restaurants, and outdoors activities. I'd like to go back to this apartment.

Great place. Just as advertised. Right by the beach but still quiet at night.

Wonderful private community with fellow residents and guests. We were at first surprised that the resort next door has daily musical performances that carry over to this condo complex, but we took it all in stride as did everyone else there by doing the daily macarana performance. As one fellow guest said, "you always know it is 3:00 oclock when the macarana comes on next door".

This location is perfect for Tamarindo. With its private beach access we walked every morning to the heart of Tamarindo for coffee and pastries. The condo was super well cooled and the hamac on the balcony was amazing. The pool was clean and perfect for a dip after surfing the waves. A couple of watch outs: this condo unit is right next door to a major resort so expect some form of entertainment spill-over from 10AM to the late evening. There are also lots of AC units on the outside wall which made a constant humming. Keep in mind that this unit gets 5 stars because of the location and value considering that this unit is dated and will require some updating in the next couple of years.

I really liked the apartment It is in a condominium with security and parking. It is very easy to access, it is on the main street of lobster. A 15/20 mins walk away, this is great. Be calm from the beach lobster, the condo youene a gate and go straight to the beach. The apartment looks great, just like the photos . Clean and tidy. The view is beautiful with all the vegetation, you can't see the sea because the trees clog it. Pull beach towels. Well-equipped, electric turkey coffee maker hernoda fridge, dishwasher and laundry. They leave product for washing . This is great value for money. The only thing I would like to suggest is that they could leave some fridge to take to the beach and chairs , that is very comfortable when a vacationer. It would be a plus of comfort. We were very satisfied. Check in perfefro give you a key and you enter . Check-out was flexible . Back .

This is really amazing apartment - spacious, not cluttered, great for chilling out. It is very close to the beach, but removed from the noise of downtown Tamarindo. The host was super friendly and let us check out late to accommodate for us having a sick child and needing to wait before leaving the town.

We had a wonderful one month stay. The unit is great location with beautiful pool. It’s an easy walk to beach and estuary. The unit has a comfortable bed, great A/C and washer/ dryer. We can’t wait to return.
