El Cantil is a great place to stay. We really feel very comfortable. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are exactly as advertised, and the swimming pool and lounge chair areas are very clean. It's our second time in Cantil. We'll be back soon.

It was perfect for our 3 generation trip for 6. All stayed together without being on top of each other. Stunning view of pool and ocean. In the middle of everything, can walk everywhere. Management company was above and beyond.

We had a wonderful stay in Cozumel and the condo made it even better! Our views were beautiful especially at sunset, it comes equipped with so many beach items and a fully stocked kitchen. It is super spacious for a family. There is even beach access right across the street with good food. We would definitely stay here again!!

We had a wonderful stay at El Cantil! The seventh-floor view was absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of our trip. The listing photos were completely accurate—the condo looked exactly as advertised, which we really appreciated. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We also took advantage of the laundry service one day (for a small fee), and it was convenient and well worth it. We've stayed at El Cantil many times over the years, and it's one of our favorite places in Cozumel. This particular condo is definitely one of our favorites. It's comfortable, well-maintained, and in a fantastic location. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cozumel!

Perfect place for our family dive trip! Grocery store across the street, great pool, perfect for snorkeling and a dock for the dive boat to pick us up. Five Star property was great to communicate with also.

Great location, pool was amazing. The beach wasn’t the best. For the price, They should try to invest a little bit money to keep area clean of sargassum, I know is the seasons but if they keep up they can control the amount that accumulates. Other than that place was great. Would definitely consider for future trips.

Absolutely beautiful apartment. Great location. Stunning view.

We had an absolutely incredible stay. It was actually beyond our expectations. We felt completely safe and secure and peaceful the whole time even though we were only a couple of blocks off of the main tourist area. We had a couple of issues that were immediately fixed and resolved, and everyone we spoke with was polite and helpful. The apartment was completely clean and spacious and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

Wow! Condo was so perfect for our 6 nights. Filtered water, big living space. Plenty of room for 5+ adults. Walking distance to everything and a market across the street. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful views, all the amenities, great bathrooms, beautifully furnished. A pool and the sea for swimming right outside, with great amenities. We were able to park safely in the garage, and the staff was very friendly. Supermarket right across the road, and within walking distance of many restaurants. We could have stayed here longer!

Fabulious condo in a beautiful propery. The condo was well appointed, spacious, very clean and everything was in top notch condition. The property was gated, very safe, very well designed and the pool & pool area were perfect,

We had a wonderful stay at 7b. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made it easy to relax after long days in the sun and water. One of our favorite spots was the beautiful deck with a daybed overlooking the ocean—an amazing place to sit, unwind, and enjoy the view. The pool area was great, and the hot tub was excellent—especially because it heated up nicely, which was perfect after long scuba diving days. We also loved being able to swim right off the dock into the ocean. It made the whole experience feel like a true island getaway. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Cozumel. We would absolutely come back!

Beautiful property and location everything conveniently designed for a good time!

This may have been our best find ever on AirBnB. This spacious apartment was in a lovely, safe building that was far enough removed from downtown to be quiet even during the peak of Carnaval, but just a five-minute, $7 cab ride to wherever you want to go. The pool was big and beautiful, and never any competition for chaise lounges (and we were there in peak season). Whatever you could possibly need was just a few clicks away with Alex seemingly always online to promptly answer questions, arrange tours, activities or any kind of transportation, always with grace and kindness. And, oh my gosh, the views! Coffee in the morning on the huge wraparound terrace watching the cruise ships come and go was as relaxing as it gets, not to mention the stunning sunsets. This is a gem.

Great stay! The location is right on the main street and the beach. You can hear music from 5th Ave in the two master baths, but it didn't bother us with the AC on at night. The balcony and view can't be beat and the pool area has appeal for all ages.

Our second stay at this property was just as great as the first. The unit is so comfortable and clean and updated. The property is excellent for a family but would also work for a girls/friends trip! The people on site are so friendly and helpful, from the staff at the front door to the housekeeper. The property management company communicates well and is so responsive. I always felt informed, and the couple of times I had a question or something went wrong, I got a response and a solution quickly. Highly recommend!

Lovely unit…third time in the building. could use a little freshening, but the beds are all super comfortable! employees of building and management company are all great, always happy to help! location is a little hectic when the cruise ships are in port….we counted seven one day. but, when they’re gone, it’s very quiet and peaceful. sunsets are magnificent. a few restaurants in the area (paprika’s is the best), but it’s only a $10 taxi ride to town with lots of choices available. cozumel is our go-to place for winter getaway!

The condo was very nice and comfortable. It looked out across the pool to the Caribbean with Cozumel in the distance. It had great privacy and the noise at night from nearby bars was easy to block out. The communications from the staff at 5 Stars Properties was outstanding. They responded quickly, addressed our question/need and were alway helpful. This is true for the staff at the front desk. Don't miss a chance to talk with Paco on about any topic, including the nearby delights of Playa del Carmen. In decades of coming to Mexico, this is the best property at which we have stayed and the best management team we've ever interacted with.

Beautiful, spacious and very functional apartment. Amazing ocean views from every area. Well equipped. We had a very comfortable and happy stay. The only thing missing is access to the beach.

Since we arrived we loved the place, super clean, nice and a great view, we loved the space the communication excellent furniture and the decoration is in excellent condition

The unit is in the El Faro Residences, which is a very well-maintained property conveniently located ocean front and just off the Fifth Avenue pedestrian mall. It is easily walkable to many great shops and restaurants, and there are nearby taxi stands for longer journeys. The unit itself is nicely appointed. The bathroom plumbing is showing signs of age; corrosion buildup affects the water flow in the sinks and the showerhead drips when you switch to the wand output. The wi-fi is ok downstairs (there were occasional brief hiccups that caused wi-fi calls to drop), but is pretty limited in the upstairs bedrooms.

We had a wonderful stay here as a family. The location is excellent — perfectly situated and easy to get around — and the views are truly impressive, the kind you don’t get tired of, whether in the morning or at the end of the day. The apartment was spotless. Everything felt extremely clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully prepared. You can immediately tell when a place is maintained with real attention to detail, and this is one of those rare stays where cleanliness and order are taken seriously. What really stood out to us was how well equipped the place was for travelers. There were amenities and small details that most hosts usually overlook, but here they were clearly considered, making the stay much more comfortable and stress-free. It genuinely felt like a place designed by someone who understands what guests actually need. Communication was smooth, the check-in process was easy, and overall the experience exceeded our expectations!! Thanks

I can’t say enough positive comments about this property. The condo was spotless and well stocked. The views were stunning and we loved watching the ships come in and out. We walked everywhere we went and we even used a rented scooter for a day to go a little further. I loved this stay and will be back!

Great location right next to the action. A bit noisy at night, but you don't hear too much in the bedrooms. Loved the pool and being right by the beach. Very easy to walk anywhere on the main strip.

Me and my family loved the accommodation, it's definitely a place we'll go back to. Although there was a small issue with communication, the entire Five Star team responded quickly and supported us at all times. The place is spectacular, super quiet and with an excellent location, since you have access to many places to eat within walking distance, clubs, convenience stores, etc.

The condo itself was amazing. The host at Five Star was also amazing. Super clean and gorgeous views. The proximity to the stores was also a huge perk. The balcony provides plenty of space to enjoy sunsets and happy hour. The absolute highlights or maybe I should say the unexpected highlights were the incredible water pressure and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

This place is phenomenal. The location is perfect-directly across the street from the grocery store, far enough away from Centro to avoid the cruise crowd but close enough to walk to all the amazing restaurants or snag a taxi. We dove with Aldora divers and they picked us up directly from the condo dock. The condo was beautifully decorated and incredibly well stocked-tons of pool towels, all the kitchen necessities, even a small cooler and insulated cups to bring down to the pool. The pool itself was great and we hardly saw another person there the whole week plus it has a hot tub for cooler evenings. They even have a fresh water dunk tank for dive gear. 10/10 stay-we were so sad to leave and already planning a return trip.

Four singles stayed. We each had ensuite baths and gorgeous views, some of the ocean, some of the city. Very helpful cleaning staff and concierge. the grounds are great with pool and hot tub. So easy for snorkeling and diving. We were picked up at the pier there for diving. The location of the condo on the corner was amazing! Everything worked well. Location to downtown and grocery stores is great. Loved the design of the condo and it is very well maintained. We so enjoyed gathering on the veranda and seeing the ocean, sky, and everyone having fun being away from the USA. Hoping to come back next year!

Great location and nice layout. Check in was easy. The view is great. It is a small complex though, so don't expect all the extras of a larger hotel.

This is a very comfortable condo in one of the best locations in Cozumel. Directly across the street from 2 large grocery stores with everything you could want. Walkable to many restaurants and an easy taxi ride to the rest of town. The management was promptly responsive to a small need that we had.

One of the best AirBnB experiences I've ever had, I liked everything but I'll name what caught my attention the most: Spectacular view (dream sunrises and sunsets), the infinity pool with few people, the best, the very nice cliff. The apartment is super nice and exactly as shown in the photos. I loved the huge living room TV with access to platforms. The quality of beds, sheets, mattresses and excellent cleaning service. There's a supermarket across the street and that's important to me. And the location in relation to restaurants and the center is also very convenient. I had a great time with my family.

Beautiful place to stay, the staff is great! Loved having a grocery store right across the street. As described, inside is lovely and the views are unbeatable.

This place was great- very spacious and the views were unbeatable. Best part was the balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean.

Great location! Easy walk to the Ferry Terminal, Restaurants/Bars, Shopping, Beach. Security was quick to check wristbands when entering. Inside was clean. Washer was out of order and we didn’t find out until the middle of our stay when it was time to wash a load. However, the resort had a guest laundry room with 3 new washers and 3 new dryers $1 to wash, $1 to dry. It was very convenient to wash a load while relaxing at the pool. While it’s close to everything, you should expect to hear the music from downtown bars/restaurants. Each room has individual A/C units and fans. They (fans and A/C) blocked the music noise coming from the restaurants and bars in the area (upstairs). The downstairs had two twin beds and you will hear the music because the room is an extieror wall and the upstair rooms have bathrooms that help with blocking the noise. So upstairs you couldn’t hear anything while the A/C and fans were on. We will definitely comeback to stay at El Faro. Coral #303

Beautiful! Clean! The most nice apt in el cantil

Myself and 4 friends stayed here for 4 nights. The pool was incredible, staff would bring umbrellas when requested and it was right next to the beach so you could go between both based on preference. We had a few plumbing issues and the management was incredibly responsive and sent someone to fix the issue within the hour. Location is walkable to 5th avenue and beyond, grocery stores were within walking distance and you are able to get ubereats delivered if necessary. Overall a great place to stay, would return.

Everything was absolutely amazing about this property! The view when we first walked in was breathtaking and none of us could believe it was ours for a whole week. The amenities were beautiful, the area was so walkable. All of the restaurants are amazing. The pool was perfect. Jesus at the pool with the umbrellas and tables was awesome and friendly. Having three bedrooms was amazing. Loved every piece of this amazing property!

We had a great stay! The condo was clean and spacious. We loved snorkeling off the pier and swimming in the warm pool. Very close to large stores and many good places to eat.

What an amazing week we had in this unit! It was convenient to everything. Our dive shop was able to pick us up from the pier, and the pool and hot tum were very welcoming! This condo met all our needs and desires!!

Spacious condo, beautiful property. Walking distance to grocery stores and smaller restaurants. Kids really enjoyed the large pool and being able to see the ships come into port.

My family of 6 really enjoyed are stay and the host was very helpful and accommodating.

The unit is spacious and nicely furnished, and the El Faro Condominium common areas are well staffed and well maintained. With its proximity to Fifth Avenue, there are many shops, restaurants and bars nearby; the downside is that you can hear them in parts of the unit at night, so I would pack ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. The beach right in front of the hotel comes right up to the pool deck, and is rocky, but there’s a sandy swim beach about 50 yards away.

Fantastic property and location. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing place to stay!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very spacious, perfect location right on the beach w/ a beautiful view, kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked often, property management was very responsive and helpful. Lots of yummy restaurants nearby. We went in off season so there were always open chairs at the pool. Our only piece of feedback is that we found it would have been helpful to have had the pool rules written in the listing since we stayed with a group. Pool only allows for 1 umbrella per apartment which didn’t allow for everyone the apartment holds to have shade if/when needed. It was overcast most days so it worked out but would have been nice to prepare for prior.

Second time here and I still recommend it 100%

I read a lot of reviews before booking this place. There are a number of condos in the same complex available through Airbnb. We chose this one because it already had excellent reviews, and I would like to add mine. We brought five adult children and everything was just fantastic. There was plenty of room to spread out, no problems with noise, and absolutely everything was wonderful. Having three full bathrooms and laundry was great. We spent most of our vacation in the pool and the local neighborhood. We ate out each night at walkable distances, and the staff was incredible. Paco at the front desk was always helpful, and the young lady who cleaned for us a couple of times was so sweet.

The most beautiful airbnb on the beach in Cozumel. Clean, spacious, fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for a family or friend weekend!

We booked this Airbnb for my 30th birthday trip and it was absolutely the best decision! The views from the living room & balcony were so beautiful. The hammock on the patio was amazing to relax on. We felt right at home! There was plenty of space for the 6 of us. Each bedroom had its own bathroom/shower & there was even a 4th bathroom which was nice. The living room & kitchen were such a great hang out spot for us. The couch was so comfortable. We loved how fully stocked the Airbnb was with towels and essentials. The housekeeper and condo staff were super friendly. We loved seeing the cute cats at the entrance. We felt so safe while staying at Palmar. We loved that it was walking distance to many restaurants, live music & shops. Right below the condo was an Oxxo and our fave, Coco Cafe - we got açaí bowls every morning! Alex was super responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back. We can’t wait to visit Cozumel again soon!

We had an amazing stay. The condo is gorgeous. Kitchen amazingly well stocked. And the layout is terrific. We had our two boys + our nanny with us, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Full bath in each bedroom came in handy -- especially after a day at the beach. Alex was super responsive throughout our stay. Everything was easy and seamless. We would definitely come back. The pool is a bit chilly in the winter months. But we just used the pools at the beach clubs (and mostly just swam in the ocean). I will say that the food options in the immediate area are fine but nothing to write home about. But there are lots of amazing places a 3-10 minute drive north.
