Beautiful home! Very spacious and the view is unmatched. We originally booked a place down the road that was very misleading online, and messaged Mauricio to book immediately. We couldn’t get in the same night but he met us there and even picked us up at 11:30am to check in the next morning! The house is beautiful and the wildlife is amazing here! We had two sloths in the trees everyday, monkeys, and even a toucan right outside our balcony! We’ve been to the national park previously and saw more here this visit. The house is “walkable” to a few restaurants and the beach but be prepared for the hills. Manuel Antonio is steep and not necessarily the most walkable place as sidewalks end and cars fly around the mountain. But we’ve been here a few times so we felt comfortable navigating the streets! The walk down to the beach is short but the hike up is NO JOKE. We’re all in great shape and it only took 4 min but it is intense. Overall, 10/10! Great service, super responsive & helpful!

What an amazing stay. This place should really be marketed more toward the amazing views and wildlife that you get right outside your balcony. Rename it to Casa Alegria National Park! For perspective we spent a few days here, went to Manuel Antonio national park with no real white face monkey experiences. This didn’t matter because I ate breakfast on the balcony with a group of 4 of them on a daily basis. We had a hard time spotting toucans anywhere else, but every morning I woke up with 3 or 4 of them in the trees. Howler monkeys? Check. Scarlett macaws? Check. The place is gorgeous, the pool is great, the hosts are amazing! What really got me is the backyard. Worth it over and over!

Beautiful place in the hearth of Manuel Antonio, walking distance to the beach and a few nice restaurants. Views are amazing from every room

This place was a rustic experience. The location is very nice and that's the reason for paying the premium. The house keeping was everyday which was awesome. Its proximity to beach and the wildlife is also worth the price paid. The only issue we realize one of the room was not connected and its own. Also the showerareas and tub are open in bedroom, so its kinda tricky sometimes when using them :) While its advantage for many. For us with kids that isolated room downstairs was not usable. Other then that I highly recommend the place and the vibes.

Amazing view, the air conditioning was nice, and overall I had a good stay. However, the hot tub turned out to just be a lukewarm bath. The outdoor "hot tub" was just a smaller kiddie pool that didn't heat up, so I think what they call the "hot tub" is the jaccuzi in the master bedroom, but the hot water only got to lukewarm and was not at all enjoyable for a bath, let alone a hot tub experience. If you're coming for the views, wildlife, and nice air conditioned rooms it's great but don't pay more for the "hot tub".

We can’t wait to return to Casa Alegria! It had everything we needed including hot showers with great water pressure! The wildlife and the views made the trip. We saw more animals from the patio than we did on the Manuel Antonio tour. Mauricio and staff were excellent to work with and can connect you with anything you need. We used the private chef and the food was outstanding!

This is an excellent house for a vacation. I don't write reviews often but this place was amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation with lots to do around you. The staff was excellent.

Casa Alegria is a stunner!!! The house and the view is exactly what you see in the pictures. Mauricio serves as your concierge. He setup airport shuttles, all our tours, and private chefs for a few meals. He is excellent. Something I did not know (maybe I missed it) is that a very nice woman came over every day to make sure the kitchen was clean, the beds and baths were refreshed, and she was even able to do some laundry. We tipped her well because of all the things she did and the time she spent. Not complaining at all, just an added expense to know about. We traveled with another couple and our two kids under 4. We all loved the daily visits by monkeys and a sloth. The private beach is not the easiest walk with super young kids, it’s paved/cobblestone but in the rainy season it’s quite slick. We opted to pay the $4 uber to the beach to avoid dropping the baby :-) There are a number of excellent restaurants in walking distance up the hill. Would definitely stay here again!
