Private Terrace

Summary: rough start, host kindly solved things. As soon as we arrived we noticed things that tend to be basic amenities in every AirBnB we’ve ever been to, were missing here: no salt, no oil to cook, no coffee (in Costa Rica!) If we had stayed for one night, I’ll let it past. But the host knew we were going to be staying for more than a week. And there were no bedsheets. The bedside tables were not properly hooked to the wall (one fell in the middle of the night). The light in the bathroom turned on and off at will. There was a leak in the kitchen sink. The TV was not properly attached to the wall and was about to fall down. So yeah, rough start. But we reached out to our host Papun (Eduardo) and he sort most of them within a day (except the leak. we put a bowl under it) Finally, the caretaker Juan was friendly and the place was close to everything (not walkable, but great view). My family and I ended up having a good time. My son already says he misses it! 😅

The value for money met my expectations. Some details in the cleanliness of the place could be improved. Excellent location, stunning view, lovely pool. I'd stay again. I recommend bringing supplies such as salt and oil, as they were not provided. Very good security

The place is super cute! I think you can tell that they are new to the business, so certain things are understandable. Just a few small pieces of feedback: The place still didn't have hot water for the shower, and we had to shower with cold water every day. The bathroom light didn't work. They brought us a bedspread because the place didn't have a blanket, but the bedspread was stained and dirty. It was disgusting. Yamil, who is the person you call and who seems to live downstairs, was never there when we went to get more toilet paper or when I went to get the hair dryer, and he never came to drop it off for me. Everything else is very nice. I think you'll do very well.

The place is nicely located, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle in Coco, with views of the countryside and a lot of space. The air conditioning was very pleasant in the heat, and the possibility to do laundry was also great. Unfortunately, the kitchen wasn't completely clean when we arrived. The blender and the coffee machine were dirty, and there was a small water damage issue. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi also didn't work as advertised, which was a problem for us. However, Papun was very accommodating and communicated in a friendly and quick manner. He was very helpful to us, which we appreciate. Therefore, we would still recommend the stay!
