We were not advised that we needed to stop at the front office and “check-in” first, so we were unable to enter the parking garage and had to go back and talk with the attendant inside. He required me to produce all the same info and documents that I had already sent to the host. It was very late and we were exhausted- this was not what I expected for a listing that said “self check-in”. As for the apartment, all the shades had been pulled down and there were weird stains all over them, like odd smear marks of some kind. They appeared to be mildewed, as well. There was no artwork on any of the walls and no decorative items anywhere- nothing like the bright art-filled, cheery, bright photos. There were also no drinking glasses or cups, only two coffee mugs and two plates for three people. The mattresses were terribly uncomfortable and we did not sleep well. The neighborhood felt very safe and clean, very close to our destination, and the parking for our car felt very secure.

This was one of the WORST EXPERIENCES I’ve ever had with a rental. I arrived with my newborn, exhausted from traveling, only to walk into an apartment filled with mold — on the walls, on the furniture, and even on the pillows. The place was unsafe for any adult, let alone a baby. The host knew about these issues and still handed us the keys without any concern for our health or situation. It was heartbreaking and infuriating to see that level of disregard, especially when traveling with an infant. To make things worse, many of the amenities advertised simply did not exist: no AC or heating, no crib, no toaster, and several other basic items that were clearly listed but never provided. The listing was misleading and dangerously inaccurate. Because the apartment was unlivable, I had to scramble at the last second to book a new place. The only reason we weren’t left outside with a newborn was because the new host kindly allowed us to check in hours early.

Inaccurate location description in the map the apartment appears inside Cayala plaza and it's far from there, The bathroom and shower were dirty and they put used towels with a wet smell for us
