Ubicada en la cima de una colina, CASAZUL ofrece vistas de la costa desde Santa Teresa hasta Cabo Blanco, con el punto de surf más famoso de la zona justo frente a la propiedad. La villa está rodeada de bosque tropical, donde los huéspedes pueden ver monos aulladores, iguanas, ardillas y una gran variedad de especies de aves.

Acceso de los huéspedes
CASAZUL se encuentra a media altura de la colina de mar-A-mar, lo que le proporciona sus impresionantes vistas. Para acceder cómodamente, recomendamos alquilar un ATV, Rhino o vehículo con tracción en las cuatro ruedas. Durante la temporada seca, un automóvil regular también es una opción, aunque un vehículo con tracción en las cuatro ruedas es ideal para explorar Santa Teresa y sus atractivos naturales.
Desde el área de estacionamiento, se llega a la villa mediante una caminata de 50 metros que incluye ocho escalones. La sala de estar principal y una suite se encuentran en el nivel de entrada, mientras que una amplia escalera de caracol conduce a las habitaciones restantes.
Los huéspedes tienen acceso a:

Fauna e insectos
Los huéspedes pueden observar fauna silvestre en su hábitat natural. Los monos aulladores y los monos carablanca suelen pasar entre los árboles junto a la casa, al igual que las iguanas y los mapaches.

The house itself is beautiful, clean, felt very safe, and has a great view. It is very high up the hill, though, so walking to the beach really isn't practical. There were unfortunately several issues during our six-night stay. A few days in, the AC in the main living/kitchen area stopped cooling. The host sent a repair crew the next morning, but despite being told it was fixed, it never worked properly again. The bedrooms stayed cool, but the main living area and kitchen were unbearably hot for the remainder of our stay. Communication afterward was frustrating, as the host seemed to think we weren't operating the AC correctly. The listing also indicated that a lower-level bedroom was available, but we couldn't access it. When we asked, we were told our stay only included the four main bedrooms. This was disappointing because the additional bedroom appeared to be part of what was advertised. I requested a partial refund for the AC issue and was offered $141 on a roughly $2,300 stay,

We live in Costa Rica, and this place is a haven of peace far from the capital. The monkeys came to say hello to us. The view, the decor, the swimming pool, and Fiona's kindness and speed—everything was very positive. We will be back! Thank you so much for having us! 🙏🏻👍🏻❤️

Nestled in the heights of the Mar a Mar residence, the accommodation is a small haven of peace. Quad/motorcycle required. I'd go back the next time I visit Santa Teresa.

Absolutely loved this stay! From pre-check-in to check-in and check-out, every detail was seamless and easy. The host was highly responsive, helpful, and made the entire experience feel effortless. The stay was even better than I could have imagined. The location was convenient, and the gated security made the property feel very safe and secure. The kitchen was also extremely well stocked with pots, pans, a blender, and everything we needed to feel right at home. The only small suggestion would be to provide dishwasher pods for easier cleanup, but overall, this was an incredible stay. I would absolutely recommend this property and hope to return next season!

We had a fabulous stay at this home. This was our 5th visit to the area and we keep coming back to Mar-A-Mar. The homes (like this one) are fantastic, the host is great, beach and restaurants are close and we love the monkeys, pool, and balconies. This property is up a very steep hill so you may want a car/ATV/SxS, but we walked it a few times and it’s a fun challenge if you are able. You can’t go wrong with this property, it’s wonderful.

Beautiful, peaceful place in a great location The apartment is super lovely - beautifully furnished, has big open windows, and we really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The view is stunning, the pool was great, and the proximity to town and the surf was incredibly convenient. We also really appreciated being able to book just a few hours in advance. The only note is that the place didn’t feel fully prepared when we arrived. It was nothing major, but it did affect the first impression slightly. With a little more attention to preparation before check-in, this would easily be an excellent stay.

Incredible villa overlooking the ocean, it is a dream in terms of interior design, location, atmosphere. The hosts are super friendly and available. The only thing I would add is that driving up there can be challenging for some people, as well as walking from the house to the parking lot (it's definitely not synonymous with accessibility), but if you ask me, the view is worth it! You need a powerful vehicle or 4x4. Also keep in mind that the pool is shared and is located in another sector of the neighborhood :) Excellent stay, thank you very much!
