This was such a wonderful place to stay. I loved the open air concept, the bed was extremely comfortable, and relaxing in the hammock on the porch every day was so peaceful listening to the birds and frogs. I would definitely stay at Ariane’s place again. I think it’s important to call out that guest should expect there to be ants, geckos, and harmless small spiders in the bungalow. It is open air and in the jungle so occasionally there will be critters. If you leave them alone, they will go away on their own.

Hermoso alojamiento!!! Realmente es una experiencia única y mágica! El lugar parece de cuentos y Ari es súper linda persona! Super buena comunicación! El wifi impecable! Trabajé un mes desde allí! Y Ari fue muy amable en ajustar el tiempo en que el wifi estaba encendido porque tenía que trabajar desde las 4 am. El deck de yoga es increíble y se puede usar si está libre! Lo único fue que tuve que posponer las reuniones a las 6 am, ya que de 4 am a 6am no se puede hacer ruido (es una restricción de Puerto Viejo)! Sin duda volvería!! La playa de ahí cerca es hermosa, y lo ideal es alquilar una bici ya que el super está a 20 min caminando. Pero con la bici va super bien! Recomiendo al 100%! Realmente es un sueño el lugar y el contacto con la naturaleza! Veía animales todos los días, y los sonidos del ambiente eran increíbles! La decoración, baño y cama increíbles!

Ariane is a great host- very responsive and helpful throughout our stay! Overall we had a great, relaxing experience. However, from the listing we thought this was a private and secluded place but you are actually in a little community with a couple other bungalows. Other than that the wildlife is amazing, lots of animals to see and hear! (If you’re a light sleeper bring some earplugs lol) This is a nice spot if you’re into nature and simplicity (:

Una cabaña muy cómoda, linda y tranquila, es fantástico poder cocinar entre los árboles, a la noche puedes escuchar a los monos aulladores y muchos otros animales, la ubicación es muy buena, puedes ir a la playa caminando, hay muchas actividades para hacer y muy buenas playas cerca, tienes una soda (restaurante caribeño) a pocos metros, nos quedamos 6 días y no nos faltó nada, hemos cocinado y hasta hemos trabajado desde la cabaña (el wifi anda muy bien), Ariane y su esposo han sido muy amables y han estado atentos a todo. Totalmente recomendable.

Spent 5 awesome nights here. Ariana scrambled to accommodate our last minute booking - thank you!!! Peaceful quiet setting with a population of resident agoutis which were super cute and fun to watch. Walkable to the beach and restaurants. Great to be accessible to all this stuff but removed from the direct ‘action’ for peace and quiet when you want it. Cabin is basic but as pictured. This is a rustic jungle experience, not a Ritz Carlton so set expectations accordingly. Has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Lack of AC was a non-issue as nighttime temps and the fan made things very comfortable. We did the indigenous cacao tour with Ariane which was a lot of fun plus a handful of on-site Yoga sessions during our stay. Excellent experience overall. Starlink wifi was fast and I saw other guests having regular Zoom calls but I lost adequate signal during my one scheduled call and had to bail. Not sure if it was the wifi or spotty power that is notorious in CR. 5 stars overall

Nuestra estancia en el Airbnb de Ariane fue simplemente maravillosa. Ariane fue increíblemente atenta y amigable, siempre dispuesta a ayudarnos en todo lo que necesitábamos. El lugar es divino, ¡las fotos no le hacen justicia! En persona es mucho más lindo, con un ambiente tranquilo que nos permitió desconectar por completo. Los alrededores son mágicos; pudimos ver muchos animalitos sin siquiera salir de la propiedad, algo que disfrutamos muchísimo. La casa tenía absolutamente todo lo que necesitábamos, y la cama era muy cómoda, asegurándonos un descanso perfecto. Recomiendo este lugar a ojos cerrados. Nuestra experiencia fue inolvidable y ya estamos planeando regresar pronto. ¡Gracias, Ariane, por todo!

We loved Arianes air bnb, it’s been our favourite on our Costa Rica trip! So much wildlife to watch from the decking, and the howler monkeys do some great dawn and dusk singing! The cabin was great, clean, and had everything we needed. Ariane was super quick to respond to messages and was really helpful throughout our stay. The only negative was the road noise directly behind the cabin - the gravel track got quite noisy at certain times.

Our stay at Ariane's was amazing! we were met by the host on arrival and she made sure we had everything we needed. When the Wi-Fi had an issue, she responded immediately and fixed it. We loved being in the jungle & hearing the birds, seeing the toucans, and we even saw a sloth! My favorite experience was sitting in the hammock chair in the morning reading a book listening to the sounds of the jungle.
