We are sorry that we could not change your stay into a long-term lease, but even if it had been possible, we would obviously not have been really happy together:) - even your slander and perceived blackmail attempts could not change this. We suspect that you were simply overwhelmed with your emigration plans and the 6 large suitcases and dog. Nevertheless, we would also like to clarify a few things publicly here: - If you had told us that you would rather use your own bedding, which you would certainly have brought in one of your 6 large suitcases, this would have been enough instead of stuffing ours into a corner in the kitchen cupboard and telling us after 1 week something about not liking them:) - We have 3 bungalows in our community and these are view protected with plants and curtains, so we have really NEVER experienced a guest directly GLUING his terrace with additional cloths on the wooden beams. - And yes, the style of the complex is still the typical Caribbean "open house living styl" and therefore it is also important to us that you handle noise considerately within the neighborhood. The long clapping of the really sweet dog and the early morning rap that sounded through the plant did not help so much. - We are here in a side street only 450 m from the sea and offer despite the good connection and direct proximity to the beach and sea also jungle feeling within our facility with a very large animal population of slots, nose bears, toucans etc.... Outside the complex, there is a lot of life depending on the season, the whole area has it all:) - WIFI is turned off for reasons of a better feeling of sleep, but remains on if desired or needed. That is exactly what we communicate. - Water pressure can sometimes be weak, which is normal in this area, and if you had alerted us that it wasn't hot, we could have shown you where to change the temperature. - Insects we have some here in jungle and there is also the possibility that they will get into the bungalow, especially if there is dog food scattered all over the floor, including under the bed. -In fact, we recorded the not inconsiderable damage and dirt after your check out on camera and did not know that you will return after check out again, because your friend told us that you are already in the car. We did not film YOU.However, we worked hard with 3 workers on this day to put the bungalow back in good condition to make the guests, who arrived on the same day, happy again. We obviously succeeded in this, as we could see from their evaluation. Incidentally, the guests right in front of you were still quite happy, both about the location and the condition. But we also understand that there are different sensations we respect these and also thank you for this experience. We will continue to work to improve the stay for our guests. Pura Vida

Danke dass du bei uns warst Marco. Wie du bei deinem Aufenthalt vielleicht bemerkt hast, sind ALLE Strassen ausser der Hauptstrasse hier noch nicht asphaltiert und alle Anlagen liegen immer an irgendeiner dieser "nicht-asphaltierten" Strassen. - Das ist im gesamten Bereich Puerto Viejo de Talamanca so und wenn du dann in der Laufnähe des Strandes sein möchtest hat es entsprechend mehr Durchgangsverkehr. Da gibt es keine Alternativen oder Ausnahmen hier. Da du fast während deiner gesamten Zeit in der Anlage abgehangen bist, gehen wir davon aus, dass du unseren Jungelgarten mit all seinen Tieren trotzdem sehr genossen hast :)

Hi Fanny, thank you very much for being with us. It was a real pleasure to have you and your quiet energy at our place. I admire how relaxed you were with these extremely busy touristic easter time, when whole Costa Rica comes to the Caribbean side on the top of other "normal" tourist :) Pura Vida

Hi Lindsey, we are happy that you and your partner liked everything. We are really one of the last places here in the Pt.Viejo Area which keep holding on, to the large trees and safe the animals so much as possible. Hope Talamanca can still keep these a bit longer as you are absolutely right: when the Construction vehicles passing by its terrible, tourism's is now also growing here in the Caribbean  unfortunately and the monkeys also dont like it but - what can we do ?
