Schlechteste Hotel unserer 3-wöchigen Costa Rica Reise. Wir buchten kurz entschlossen um ca.14 Uhr in Puntarenas dieses Hotel über Airbnb, mit der Bitte uns den genauen Standort mitzuteilen. Was auch geschah. Mit einer offiziellen Antwort vom Hotel. Ich informierte darauf hin noch, dass wir um 15 Uhr auf die Fähre gehen und gegen 18-19 Uhr ankommen. Als wir um 19 Uhr im Hotel ankamen, hieß es sie haben eine schlechte Nachricht, das Hotel ist ausgebucht und sie haben kein Zimmer mehr für uns. Die Hilfe bestand lediglich darin, uns überteuerte Zimmer in Schlafsälen anzubieten. Wir haben aber gezielt, ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad und Klimaanlage gesucht. Wir sind dann gegangen und haben uns selber was gesucht, was uns das Abendessen gekostet hat, weil anscheinend alle Restaurants in St. Teresa um 21:45 Uhr schließen.

We really enjoyed our stay at Point Break. We ended up with a bigger room than expected which was appreciated. The host was able to help us figure out transportation (beware most taxis have a 20 USD fixed rate). We got the bus schedule from our host which ended up being very useful throughout our stay. Accommodation was clean, well equipped and AC worked very well.

Rigtig fint hotel med fine faciliteter. Perfekt beliggenhed til gode restauranter og stranden. Desværre fik vi et værelse ud til gaden, som larmede ekstremt meget, hvilket var ret generende, når man skulle sove.

They stay at this place wasn’t what we expected. It was very difficult to sleep at night because of the noice frem the street and the room wasn’t as clean as expected.

Simple chambre avec salle de bain privée, par contre petite terrasse inutilisable avec la poussière générée par les passages sur la route principale (saison sèche). Mais la chambre est spacieuse et agréable! L’eau de la douche n’a pas été toujours chaude mais rien de bien dérangeant. Dans l’ensemble, bon séjour!

The localization is the best in Santa Teresa’s beach. The place is very clean, they have an amazing space to chilling out and the rooms are very comfortable
