Point

Worst hotel of our 3-week Costa Rica trip. We booked this hotel on Airbnb at about 2 pm in Puntarenas, with the request to tell us the exact location. Whatever happened. With an official response from the hotel. I also informed you that we will take the ferry at 3 pm and arrive around 6-7 pm. When we got to the hotel at 7 pm, they said they had bad news, the hotel is fully booked and they have no more rooms for us. The help was only to offer us overpriced rooms in dormitories. But we specifically looked for a double room with a private bathroom and air conditioning. We then left and looked for something ourselves, which cost us dinner, because apparently all restaurants in St. Teresa close at 9:45 pm.

We really enjoyed our stay at Point Break. We ended up with a bigger room than expected which was appreciated. The host was able to help us figure out transportation (beware most taxis have a 20 USD fixed rate). We got the bus schedule from our host which ended up being very useful throughout our stay. Accommodation was clean, well equipped and AC worked very well.
