Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Very close to everything and beautiful view of the ocean. Great for a family of four.

Great location - easy walk to 5th Ave and Coco Beach. Beautiful rooftop pool with oceanview. Laundry was tricky because you need to call front desk in the morning to reserve a machine and not many available time-slots. AC in one of the bedrooms had some issues - host tried his best to fix during the stay. Accommodated our various requests. Would recommend.

Xavier and his team were excellent hosts. The location is amazing being so close to 5'th avenue There was unexpected issues with the parking garage (not the host's fault) and I had to move my car to the street. But Xavier and his team went out of their way to pay for my street parking and make sure all was good. Would certainly come back and stay again

Terrific place to stay for a visit to PDC and enjoying some beach time. The location is just a few short blocks from 5th but secluded enough and near various beach clubs to relax. The place was spotless , safe and very clean throughout the apartment. I would certainly recommend and would stay here again.

This is a true gem in PDC. The pictures don’t reflect how the apartment really looks, because in reality is even better! Modern, yet cozy, very spacious, super clean and comfortable. The corner master bedroom with the ocean view it’s still in my dreams. It’s fully equipped with everything you can possibly need and the attention to details of the hosts is impeccable. Also, the hosts were always friendly, flexible and very responsive to make us feel welcome and accommodating any need. The common areas such as the lobby, garage and the rooftop swimming pool are very safe, well kept and good looking. It comes with a gym and spa too. The area is special for PDC. Right on the 5th avenue but still in a more private and quieter area, around the corner from Calle 38, which for us was the coolest street in PDC. Everything you need is walking distance and for all else, you can have a car right in the secured garage. Can’t recommend this apartment enough.

Great apartment and even better location. While a few blocks from great restaurants and the bustling fifth avenue, the apartment is tucked away on a quiet street. This was a perfect stay for two days.

Xavier was responsive and quickly answered question and helped with recommendations. Loved our condo! It was stocked with plenty of water, towels, soap, coffee and beer for the first night. The smaller bathroom could use better and I wouldn’t recommend the food at the pool but drinks were fine. Location is perfect would stay here again. 2 blocks from beach, and about the same distance to 38th street and 5th Ave, 1 blk to 7 Eleven.

Great location for families. We ended up staying at an 4 stars all-inclusive resort for the second half of our trip and I totally regretted it. We should have stayed here instead. lol

Xavier was a fantastic host and was very attentive. The unit was nice, cozy, and is in a couple minutes walk of both the beach and main streets. The unit itself doesn’t come with any bottled water, but there is a 7-11 near by. If looking for a place near the main streets and being close to the beach, this is a great choice.

Our stay with Xavier was excellent. Awa is a wonderful place and the accommodation is very modern and pleasant. Everything was spotless, very complete and equipped. Xavier welcomed us and was attentive and in communication during all the days of our stay. We will return without any hesitation

Xavier was extremely helpful and attentive. The home is perfect. I am considering rebooking for a longterm stay. I have stayed several places in Playa and this is my favorite. It was also kid friendly. My son loved the pool. Oh and it was CLEAN!!! Which is always something I struggle with. Also assisted with letting us leave our car while traveling to another city. Staying here for sure next visit.

Beautiful apartment with great views and amenities, great communication from Xavier, lots of good restaurants nearby on Calle 38. Would definitely recommend staying here. My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon and Xavier even gifted us a bottle of wine! The only improvement would be if there were more trash bags in the apartment for our week long stay. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Absolutely perfect stay! This apartment was everything we hoped for and more. The unit itself is beautiful, modern, and spotlessly clean with a breathtaking ocean view that made every morning feel like a dream. The location is unbeatable just a short walk to the beach, amazing restaurants, shops, and everything you might need during your stay. But the real highlight? The rooftop. It has the most spectacular panoramic view in the area—perfect for relaxing with a drink or taking in the sunrise. And we can’t say enough good things about the hosts, Xavier and Benoit. They were incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. While this was not our first visit to Mexico, it was our first time using Air BB in Mexico. We can say it was a wonderful experience! Communication was prompt and efficient, with suggestions of must see and do places to explore and eat. The accommodations were as presented online, and the people at Playacar were always pleasant and helpful. Mounir helped with arrangements for private transportation to and from the airport, which we were glad to have done. We loved our stay here. The condo is on the 1st floor which made it very easy to get to the pool. Very relaxing, quiet, beautiful place. The playground, pools, & little restaurant onsite were wonderful. There are also more restaurants a short walk away. We will definitely be back. Xavier was a great host!

Everything was nice

We loved our week long stay at Xavier's place. The condo was beautiful and comfortable and our hosts always responded promptly to our questions and requests. The beds were extremely comfortable! We also enjoyed the beautiful pools and delicious drinks from the pool bar. Across the street there is a great little shop to get coffee and pastry as well as a yummy gelato place! Easy walk to 5th avenue and the beach. Definitely recommend!

This is our fifth time to the Cancun/Playa area and this place takes the cake! Stunning place, beautiful resort with a huge pool, stuff for the kiddie and great bar/restaurant. For context, cocktails are 70 pesos ($3.50) - best margaritas ever. The space was awesome, cool patio to chill and have lunch. Beds amazingly comfortable. Evenings in the hot tub to wind down, conveniently there are two with slightly different temperature which works well. Will definitely be coming again, next time I’ll be sure to bring a padel set!

Amazing apartment and great host. Honestly, one of the best places we've been in Mexico. We had everything we need there and we got great recommendations for restaurants, transportation and things to do. The apartment was clean and ready for us exactly the time we said we will come (1pm) and it was very easy to locate the place and enter the apartment. The estate itself has a lot to offer and we had really great time withbour kids there. Thank you very much for it There is no doubt we will back there in our next visit

If I have to review Xavier's place in a few words, it would be AMAZING, PEACEFUL and MUST HAVE if you are visiting Playacar or Playa Del Carmen. The apartment itself was to die for. Very clean and well maintained place with every facility you need. The facilities at AWA were immaculate and had ton's to do. The staff is very polite and helpful. About Xavier, he is the best host we ever had, the best experience at airbnb. From clear communication to quick responses and recommendations - Xavier did a lot to help us out with anything we needed at any time of the day. We had no issues and would recommend you to book without a single doubt in your mind. We loved the place and you will too!! Already planning for next year and booking it again!!

We loved our stay! The apartment is beautiful just like the pictures, I’d say even better! The place was clean, no complaints! They provide a suffice amount of towels and toiletries and give you the option to have cleaning services at a charge (inclusive of washing & changing bedsheets), which could be useful depending on your length of stay. The hosts were friendly and responsive; ended up helping us with check in, in-person, as we bumped into them upon arrival. The location (PlayaCar) is safe with gate security at entrance and then another security check at the AWA entrance.

Apartment was as described and the complex with the large pool and hot tub was very nice! Stay was very pleasant and relaxing! The safety measures to get into the zone of the property were good and you felt safe! Would stay there again anytime!

Xavier’s apartment was excellent: clean in a large condominium building, with lots of amenities such as a pool and a gym. The Playacar location itself is easy to get to, out of the hustle and bustle of the city surrounded with lush garden. The apartment is large enough for 2 couples or a family with kids, right by the pool. Communication with Xavier was excellent. He provided lots of recommendations on where to go to nd was always available. I can’t recommend enough Xavier’s place.

Fantastic stay! We couldn't have hoped for better, the welcome was perfect, our hosts helped us in advance and throughout the stay with all the questions/ things we needed (car rental, recommendations...). They were very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The apartment is superb, clean, well-equipped and the residence is very pleasant and quiet. We enjoyed every moment in the pool and it is a great place to relax with the family. It is better to have a car to drive around or get to the city center but there is a golf cart service that can drop off at the playacar entrance or at the beach which is very convenient. We would recommend it without hesitation and hope to have the opportunity to come back. Thanks again for your hospitality!

Undoubtedly one of the best accommodations in which we have stayed, playacar is a very quiet and safe private complex, the location is unbeatable near walking from 5th Avenue, and quite close walking to the private beach, in front of the building there is an oxxo and several highly recommended restaurants, the facilities are a true luxury, all impeccable, the cleanliness is taken care of in detail, and Xavier the host help me literally in everything, excellent customer service, my son passed it super cheerful in the pool for children and my wife in the whirlpool, even the airbnb comes with an access card to a beach club located within Playacar, where we were served the best breakfast, and the private beach or talking, in short, super recommended, if available they do not hesitate to book immediately.

My friend and I had an amazing week long stay at Xavier’s apartment. Xavier and his cohosts are very responsive and helpful— they arranged airport transportation and accommodated late checkout. Any requests or questions we had were handled promptly. AWA Playacar Residence is stunning! We felt very safe and the pool is truly spectacular. The bedrooms were large and mattresses were very comfy. The apartment is stocked with every appliance you’d need to make a meal-including a Nespresso so bring your pods. Great internet and set-up to watch stream tv shows/movies. It would be prefect for working remotely. Would highly recommend and we’re excited to return!

The facilities at AWA are impeccable. AWA is nestled in a private community in Playa del Carmen, so within walking distance to the entrance of La Quinta. The gym and pool are top notch! The apartment is brand new and it is so nice to be able to walk out the backdoor to enjoy the open space. I went for a coffee every morning across the street and ate at Mia which has the BEST caesar salad.
