We had a wonderful stay at Villa Gema Escondida. The villa is very spacious; the absolute highlight is the fantastic outdoor area with a wonderful view of the ocean and a great pool. We saw toucans and coatis right by the house every day. Communication with the host was great and very smooth. The lower level could be a bit cozier and has only fans, no AC. We had an internet outage one day. But none of that affected our stay. The drive to the villa was fine; we only bottomed out on some high speed bumps during the last kilometer. But our Kia Seltos doesn’t have the highest ground clearance, either.

This house is more amazing than the pictures!! Spacious, clean and peaceful. Views are unbelievable as is the grounds surrounding the house. It’s green season but that didn’t matter at this property. Literally my only want was a pool net while we stayed. Get the private chef experience you won’t regret it!!
