Good location, is an old house with old features, great if you like the old charm, but not for everyone if you like comfort. The neighborhood may look rusty but is safe and 3 blocks from Paseo Montejo

This is an amazing home and property, with beautiful furnishings and fixtures featuring many historic, original Colonial elements. The space is huge (and it was only 2 of us, so we had so much extra room), and the outdoor area was fantastic. We spent hours in the pool, especially during the hot Merida afternoons. We loved the location too - not too busy, but close enough to walk everywhere in this charming, beautiful city. (Try Conchita's Oyster Bar, a 3 min walk...a wonderful tiny restaurant.) The host was great - always responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this home, and hope to return in the near future.

It was a pleasure to have stayed at Los Amigos!! The house is very tastefully decorated. It is spacious and clean. It's located just a few blocks from a very nice corridor with restaurants and bars and from Paseo Montejo, which allowed us to walk and get to know the area at our leisure. The host was available for whatever we needed during our stay. I recommend it!!

This house is a stunner and it’s HUGE. It’s somehow nicer than the photos with super tall ceilings, carefully crafted artwork, stocked kitchen, and gorgeous bedrooms. We were a group of 5 and it felt like we all had so much space. Location is also 10/10. Super super happy that we stayed here. Only warning would be that the first front bedroom shares a wall/door to the kitchen so it can be noisy - and it also connects via the en suite bathroom to another room. Was not a major drawback but would have been nice to know about that before we all picked our rooms. We also felt the communications and responsiveness could have been better. The power went out in the neighborhood for like 7 hours (not their fault!) and we had asked for flashlights/candles which only came much later after the power was back on. There was also no flexibility with leaving our bags/late check-out. Not dealbreakers but things that stick with you! Overall, would 100% stay again.

We loved our stay here for a weekend with 8 people. The house is beautiful, convenient to walking and exploring the town, and the pool was great. We would love to come back and stay (which is the best review!).

Excellent property, location and service. The only issue we had was that, although we had access on time, access to the entire property was blocked, but they resolved it quickly.

We stayed for a week and it was such a special house! Really beautifully decorated, had everything we needed. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Hosts were super responsive.

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Home’s layout, decor, and features all exceeded our expectations for a Mérida getaway. Area was safe, quiet, and walkable to all restaurants and stores. Two rooms (King, Queen) attached to main house, two rooms (King, King) detached, all with en-suite bathrooms. Excellent AC units in all bedrooms and common areas. Large filtered water dispenser for refilling water bottles. Hosts were amazing with communicating pre-check in information, fast responses during our stay, and even offered (for a small up-charge) to get a few groceries/essentials we requested given our later arrival time. Would highly, highly recommend this home.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in downtown Mérida. The location couldn’t have been better — right in the heart of the city, just a short walk to the main square and surrounded by fantastic restaurants, cafés, and shops. The house itself is stunning, with gorgeous architecture that perfectly blends historic charm and modern comfort. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed. The pool was a true highlight — perfect for cooling off after exploring the city and relaxing in total privacy. Our host was fantastic: welcoming, responsive, and helpful with local recommendations. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mérida!

Traditional Mexican house nicely furnished and two blocks away from "restaurant row". All bedrooms away from roadage so quiet. However not really suitable for long term rent as kitchen lacking equipment such a toaster and grill pan and no washer dryer for use. Communication good.

This place was excellent for two families with four little kids. Two blocks from the Gastronomic corridor is perfect for everything from morning coffees, to pizza lunch to swanky dinners and even a club night. Parque La Plancha is also only a few blocks and amazing for kids. The house was spotless, and everything worked perfectly. I can't say enough good things about the management group. They arranged babysitters for us, a full day trip to Celestun, and rides to and from the airport. Their communication was top notch. Overall, the combo of the amazing house and management was 10/10 experience.

This house is more beautiful than the pictures. It's stunning! BUT the check-in and no hot water the first night were bad. The google map they provided did not indicate the correct address so we had to walk up and down the block to match the image of the front door to an actual front door. Frustrating. Then there was no hot water. I messaged Cercana and they got back to me right away saying their staff had checked earlier in the day and it worked. But the next day it turned out that they needed a new hot water heater which they promptly replaced. This AirBnB is clearly professional run and managed-- it was one of the most expensive houses in the area! So to not have proper hot water working before we arrived did not feel professional at all. They also did not reach out immediately to offer anything for the trouble- it all went through AirBnB. Overall, this was not a perfect stay- but the house is so gorgeous... I might stay there again if I were in town!

It’s an incredibly beautiful house in a fantastic and safe location. The interior decor is by far the best I’ve ever seen in an Airbnb. The owners clearly care about interior design and antiques. There were a few small things that could’ve been better; we couldn’t quite figure out how to make hot water work but it wasn’t a big deal because it’s so hot in Merida anyway. We also ran low on paper towels and the kitchen was missing a wine opener but they promptly delivered more the next day. The management company is ultra responsive and usually gets back to you within 30 minutes. If you organize a tour through them, be really specific about how many passenger seats and seatbelts you need. The affiliated agency sent us a car that was too small for the people we had. In Mexico, it seems like it’s acceptable for babies to ride without any car seats or seatbelts on highways for a long time, which didn’t feel safe to us.

This is was by far one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve had the pleasure of staying with. The hosts were extremely responsive (even when we accident locked one of the rooms at 10pm!) cannot beat the location, two blocks away you have the most amazing strip of cafes and restaurants.

We stayed at Casa 440, aka Casa los Amigos, for a few days. Excellent location, just two blocks from the nicer part of Paseo de Montejo and a bunch of cute restaurants . The property exceeded our expectations, being super spacious, with four rooms that provided a lot of “own space” to the guests. The pool was clean, with the occasional inevitable debris that comes from the beautiful palm trees in the house. The kitchen was massive, with appliances that were working perfectly. Each room has ceiling fans and a mini-split A/C unit, which provide escape from Merida’s heat. Tropical weather comes with mosquitoes… they provided us with repellent and insecticide spray. All rooms have mesh-screen doors. There is a curated selection of art pieces in the living room, that elevate the feel of the property. Overall, excellent experience! Would recommend 100% for larger groups.

This home offered an old-world charm combined with modern amenities. It was within walking distance of excellent cafés and restaurants. The management company was responsive and very helpful.

house which is very charming and relaxing with great indoor and outdoor space with a lovely swimming pool. Only challenge is that we asked for a crib which only arrived the second day which was challenging with our 1 years old daughter. Everything else was great.

We had a wonderful time at Emmeli's place. Central to everything but super quiet. The house is HUGE with tons of different spaces to relax and escape. Bedrooms with total privacy from others. We loved exploring the area and relaxing at the house by the pool.

The apartment is wonderful! The area is very convenient for walking. I would add a little more maintenance to the garden and restrooms and instructions for the host regarding the pool.

Emmeli is an excellent host, she always responds very quickly. The house is very spacious, clean, to enjoy, each space has its own thing. I really enjoyed the audio room with my family. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance. We were very comfortable, I highly recommend this house.

I went with my family and we stayed in this very nice house. The architecture is very good, spacious area, very comfortable rooms, quiet place and the center and restaurants are very close. Of course we would not stay in this house again, we loved it.
