Good location, is an old house with old features, great if you like the old charm, but not for everyone if you like comfort. The neighborhood may look rusty but is safe and 3 blocks from Paseo Montejo

This is an amazing home and property, with beautiful furnishings and fixtures featuring many historic, original Colonial elements. The space is huge (and it was only 2 of us, so we had so much extra room), and the outdoor area was fantastic. We spent hours in the pool, especially during the hot Merida afternoons. We loved the location too - not too busy, but close enough to walk everywhere in this charming, beautiful city. (Try Conchita's Oyster Bar, a 3 min walk...a wonderful tiny restaurant.) The host was great - always responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this home, and hope to return in the near future.

This house is a dream!! Full of art, very well located, it's HUGE, clean, excellent host, super attentive, clean. I definitely had the best vacation. I would go back a thousand times.

Beautiful home, lovely spot, close to great food (SOCO and Pancho Mais YUM!), wonderful pool. I Would come back.

It was a pleasure to have stayed at Los Amigos!! The house is very tastefully decorated. It is spacious and clean. It's located just a few blocks from a very nice corridor with restaurants and bars and from Paseo Montejo, which allowed us to walk and get to know the area at our leisure. The host was available for whatever we needed during our stay. I recommend it!!

This house is a stunner and it’s HUGE. It’s somehow nicer than the photos with super tall ceilings, carefully crafted artwork, stocked kitchen, and gorgeous bedrooms. We were a group of 5 and it felt like we all had so much space. Location is also 10/10. Super super happy that we stayed here. Only warning would be that the first front bedroom shares a wall/door to the kitchen so it can be noisy - and it also connects via the en suite bathroom to another room. Was not a major drawback but would have been nice to know about that before we all picked our rooms. We also felt the communications and responsiveness could have been better. The power went out in the neighborhood for like 7 hours (not their fault!) and we had asked for flashlights/candles which only came much later after the power was back on. There was also no flexibility with leaving our bags/late check-out. Not dealbreakers but things that stick with you! Overall, would 100% stay again.
