We had a great time in Playa del Carmen. The location was wonderful with the pool being as impressive as it looks on the photos. The restaurants within a 10 minute drive were excellent and the main road to the site is easily accessible. A real highlight was that for any issue big or small Patricia was available within minutes - things go wrong but the important thing is that you are well supported in holiday and this was done really well P.S. Bring your own Nespresso Vertuo capsules for the coffee machine if you have them, they are impossible to find locally

Clean, spacious, well appointed. This space was perfect for our family of four, including our 8 year old (loved the pool and the beach) and our 1 year old (baby chair, pack-and-play, climate-controlled room with dark curtains perfect for naps and full nights of sleep). The pool is very kid friendly. Overall a wonderful stay if you're looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sun, sea, and time with family.

It's beautiful condo in the Mareazul complex, with a small pool right in front of the place, surrounded by lots of plants and greenery. The complex has a huge pool and a couple bar/restaurants, one of them right in front of the beach, also has posted securities 24/7, we felt very safe and relaxed during our stay. You might need a car or taxi to get around beyond the complex, even though the place felt safe, we didn't see many restaurants or malls within walking distance, nevertheless, la quinta avenida is about 10 minutes drive. The place was very clean and spacious, we had much of what we needed, however some complement toiletries and kitchen supplies were lacking, but nothing a quick run to the supermarket couldn't fix, beside this, it was a great stay in a awesome complex. Highly recommended.

We only spent 2 days in the accommodation and would have liked to have stayed longer. The entire complex and the beach are beautiful. Sand toys were available for the kids and there is even a trampoline. Patricia gave us a different apartment than the one originally booked to make it closer to the pool and beach. Thank you for that! We were not 100% satisfied with the cleanliness, so we forgot a few places and you could see that it was cleaned rather superficially. Patricia personally apologized to us for this and discussed the situation with the cleaning team. This can happen and we are also aware that our standards of cleanliness are very high.

Excellent place to spend as a family, the beach is definitely the best beach in Carmen, without a doubt, the apartment in excellent condition and comes with everything you need to enjoy an incredible vacation as well as the pools and common areas. I really can't find something I could disqualify. Everything was excellent, mainly Patricia's service since we arrived until we left, it was impeccable and attentive, we will definitely come back and we recommend it 100%.

Everything was fantastic. The location is gated and private. It’s got a lot of amenities including a big community pool in addition to the private one, a two minute stroll down to a idyllic beach and really comfy beds and couches, cabinets full of everything you’d need and very up to date appliances. Patricia was right there as soon as we pulled up waiting for us and recognized us by name. We were a family of 11 and she accommodated multiple cars with extra parking spots. There were pull out beds under each bed, we didn’t even end up using all of them. It was a great stay, the only thing I can say was not ideal was that there was a miscommunication about our check out time. When we checked in she told us it would be no problem if we leave at 12-1 instead of 11 but were told the next day that the check out time is strictly 11, which we did end up leaving at on our own accord but would have been inconvenient if we were going to stay. This is the only hiccup otherwise everyone loved it !

It really was a wonderful experience, from the photos it looked like it was a very nice place, but in person it is much more than we thought it would be, both the complex and the apartment are beautiful, everything was super clean, it had everything needed for the stay of the 10 people we stayed, communication with the host was excellent, the whole family was delighted with the place, 1000% recommended, thank you very much

The place itself was charming, nestled within a delightful complex that was absolutely perfect for those visiting with kids. There was ample space for them to play and explore safely. However, it's worth noting that you'll need a car to get to the Playa del Carmen center, as it's a bit of a distance. What truly stood out for us was the host, Patricia. She was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. Her hospitality made our visit all the more enjoyable.

Amazing apartment, pool pool, jacuzzis, beach all 1 min walk! Beautiful view, and we worked amazing that there were 2 restaurants within the property. We used the paddle court a lot, host Patricia was great, explained everything, got us a barbecue, super professional. Overall amazing, we would definitely stay again!

Everything was great , we already knew the complex, but this time we enjoyed the apartment more, everything was excellent , well arranged and the main one on the ground floor and with a pool , those made it super comfortable and communication with Patricia 10 points , very soon we will come back and we will definitely choose it again.

The place was really amazing. The apartment is within a huge complex in the jungle, which includes golf courses, other apartment buildings and hotels. The apartment itself was as described, with new furniture, appliances and HVAC. Right out of the apartment there is a pool exclusive for the apartment itself which makes it ideal for children. Then, there is the huge pool of the complex, and the direct access to the beach, where the staff is very kind and sets you up for umbrellas and beach chairs (it is very good that you can take your own drinks to the pool or beach)

My family and I had a magnificent stay in Patricia's apartment, it looks much nicer than in the photos, everything is in perfect condition and very clean, the blue tide heated pools are very nice, we really liked the food in the restaurants, the private pool is a plus, Patricia is an excellent host and was always attentive to what we needed, we were delighted and of course we will be back soon, Thank you Patricia

my stay was excellent! The house is very nice just as shown in more photos, it is spacious and has all the communities and it has all the communities, my family and I had a wonderful vacation, communication with paty was always excellent, his response was quick and very kind, I even forgot some belongings and he favored me to send them to me by parcel🙏🏻, the area is very quiet, the area is very quiet, the area is very quiet, almost there are almost no people then you can enjoy the pools and the beach ! Family, safe, excellent clean to rest and have a good time, but if you plan to leave if it is advisable to rent a car since the complex is removed from the city which gives you an excellent noisy stay for people who are looking to get out of the bustle of everyday life, my family and I are delighted!!!!

Our stay was magical. The place is amazing, close to pool and beach. The employees are attentive and very kind. The restaurants are very good. Patricia was a very thoughtful disgrace. Paradise! We had an amazing two weeks at Mareazul! Patty is a wonderful host and we felt very taken care of. We loved the condo and the resort. Huge pools, great beach front, very safe. Resort staff are wonderful. Thank you Patty! Would recommend to anyone!

Our family of 5 with small kids stayed a whole week in Patricia’s Mareazul condo and it was perfect! This condo is different from the one pictured but it is actually BETTER - decor was more modern, and the location was right across from the pools and a 2 min walk to the beach, both places we spent all our time at. We could walk back and forth barefoot from the pools and restaurant, it felt like the whole resort was in our backyard! There was also a surprise tiny bedroom with bunk beds and extra toilet room so we had rooms for everyone. For little kids, the outdoor tub and private pool was the cherry on top. While there is no oven or dishwasher, we cooked almost all meals at home comfortably with grocery stores and little markets only a 10min drive away (and the mini mart on site good for small stuff). Thanks again Patricia for a lovely stay!

Great place for a family.

This was a great and comfortable place. Really enjoyed my time with my toddlers boys and husband. I highly recommend and would be back in a heartbeat! Paty is super thoughtful and always very communicative. I felt like I was at my home! Thanks Paty!

I would highly recommend staying at Mareazul with Paty for a number of reasons. It's a beautiful property just minutes walk to the beach. We enjoyed dinner/drinks at the on-property restaurants. The property has a very well equipped exercise room which we used often. Bike rentals was easy (just 15 minute bike ride to Playa). Super large pool, hammocks strung over water, and the nice sound of birds out your door. The property was very safe and secure and at no time did we feel any hint of danger. The unit is described accurately, 2 bedrooms (1 with King, and the other with 2 beds). There is a third "bedroom", with bunk beds, but it actually a laundry room. My 20 year old son had no issues sleeping there as it was quiet and dark. BTW, the beds are comfortable. It is nicely decorated and comfortable. Paty communicated well with us throughout the visit. Again, I would highly recommend a stay.

We had a great time staying with Patricia at Mareazul. Patricia was an excellent host with great communication. She reached out several days before our arrival to coordinate check-in. She is very active on WhatsApp so we used that for most of our communication. We also had a minor issue with the unit and Patricia promptly took care of it. She also offers a grocery shopping service for a reasonable fee that we used and it was great to arrive and already have some basics like coffee, bread, eggs, etc. The unit is also very nice and has everything you need including stuff for kids like plates, cups, and beach / pool toys. The little pool on the back deck was great for swimming with kids. The complex is also very nice with beautiful grounds and pool. It felt very safe with lots of security. The pool is massive. It was starting to show some wear but they started a project to update tiles and boards around the pool so hopefully it will be in better condition soon. The restaurant on site was good but there are not other ones in the area so you need to drive or take a cab for other dining options. Probably the main downside of this location. There is a small convenience store that had many basics at a reasonable cost and we used it often instead of going into town. The beach is beautiful and swimming is great right where it meets the property. The ocean is fairly rocky up and down the beach from this point. Overall, this was a great place and we had a great time. Patricia is an excellent and very communicative host!

The complex is amazing. The pool , half private beach - amazing! Free long chairs on the beach. It’s guarded by 2 security gates so no issue about security. We were there with our 5 year old son. The apartment offers even toys and kids scooters. We had an amazing time there! Recommendation!

The place was 5 stars! In any way you look at it. Going through the endless swimming pools to the most perfect beaches every day- we will newer forget. The apartment has everything and more you need for cooking and luxurious leaving Walk out pool is very nice. All little details were thought through fir us. Will recommend to anybody. Patricia the manager is very responsible, fun and life loving person. We spent 6 weeks there and can’t wait to come back

Paty’s condo at Mareazul is a perfect location for our family with young children with long term stay. We stayed there for a whole month and never run out of things to do. The development is located inside Corasol community with beach front access. Mareazul is a gated community with 24-hour security personnel, so we always felt safe in the community. There’s is a mini-mart that is just a few steps away from the unit. So you can always get what you need. The pool is a great feature and we go there all the time. If you are a golfer, there’s also a nice golf course inside Corasol development (The Grand Coyote). Our kids spent a few weeks at the golf camp and I have played a few rounds. Guests staying at Mareazul get a discount to the green fees. The unit is about 10 mins drive to the main downtown area, so we’d highly recommend renting a car as the taxi cost is too prohibitive. For dining, there are many great options within 10 mins drive from the unit. Some of our favorites were Amate 38, El Fogon, Mu. Burgerhouse, INTI Beach, and sushi bar at the Hyatt. But the pool side restaurant (Punta Azul) is also a great option. We also spent many trips to local grocery store, Chedraui, which has a great selection of fresh items. Paty is a fantastic host. She was always very responsive and go out of her way to make sure that we have a great experience. In a rare case that there is an issue inside the unit, Paty made sure that the maintenance crew come out and take care of the issues right away. We have a wonderful memories at Paty’s condo and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway.

It really is a beautiful place, the apartment super comfortable, the decor, the cleanliness, the beds are a delight, fully equipped for a pleasant stay, the pool of the complex is huge and beautiful, the sea super cute and although there was still zargazo we could enjoy it. Excellent host treatment. The apartment exceeded my expectations and the complex and the beach with excellent service and there was NO sargassum!!! Impeccable facilities. Paty's apartment in Mareazul is nothing short of spectacular for a medium-sized group. There were 5 of us in total, but we could have easily had 8 comfortably. The beds were warm and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and spacious, and we used our kitchen or outside barbecue almost every night to prepare meals. Three of our group were mid 20s American Females and they felt completely safe the entire time. Being located in the Corasol resort area as well as the Mareazul private resort made it easy to walk around and feel totally safe at any time of day or night. The local convenience store made for great evening trips for delicious ice cream treats or other necessary items like laundry soap. The beach is a short 7 minute walk past the beautiful pool area and Punto Azul grill. The beach is private (very uncrowded) and well maintained with security on-site. Punto Azul makes for a very convenient and affordable dining option right on the resort. We ate there several times during our month at Paty's apartment and enjoyed everything we tried. Paty is the most gracious and lovely host. She went out of her way to help us get a higher internet speed to accommodate for our work needs. She warned us of tropical storms and hurricanes that may be on their way (we only encountered one Category 1 storm and made it through just fine). Paty also put us in touch with the maintenance personnel when we needed some repairs after the hurricane. They were easy to work with and very kind. If you are planning an extended stay in the Playa del Carmen area, there is no better place to stay than Paty's apartment in Mareazul.
