Had the following problems. 1. Far from town 2.’ Load road noice 3. Window rattle slot dificult to sleep 4. My vehicle was vandalize parked in the parking lot. More that $3 thousand dollars in damage. Nobody saw anything. Just didn’t pick up the phone when called. Maybe because she doesn’t live in country.!! 5. No Tv Camaras on site or parking lot. Unsecured area. No security whatsoever so ever. 6. Apartment had a humid smell.

Our family of 4 had a great 4 night stay at Claudia's! Her place was clean and equipped with all the basics for a comfortable stay. When we did reach out to Claudia, she was always quick to respond and did so in a friendly and helpful manner. She even arranged a taxi from the Costa Rica border for us as well as the delivery of another jug of water. As others have mentioned, the pool near the condo is small (but easy to access). We found another larger pool at the opposite end of the complex behind the Pizza House and it was excellent! The condo is an easy walk to the main streets of SJDS, a quick walk to a small pulperia (Stop and Buy) and a 1.3km walk to a larger store (Ahorra Mas). We ate at Henry's Iguana and it was great! We also used Casa Oro for surf lessons and enjoyed a day at Tree Casa - amazing place and delicious pizzas. A few things: the shower pressure is minimal, the couch well loved and having to think about AC usage can be frustrating. Still, a great place to stay!
