The Space
Relax with your entire family in this tranquil penthouse suite. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo comfortably accommodates up to five guests. Located on the top floor, the unit features modern amenities, a private balcony, and a rooftop terrace, offering a peaceful and convenient retreat.
The space is thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a hassle-free stay, including WiFi, air conditioning, access to a shared pool, and a dedicated parking spot. This condo is especially well-suited for long-term stays.
Situated within the Plaza La Talanguera Condo, the location provides easy access to the town center.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive use of the entire condo. The pool is shared with other residents of the complex. A dedicated parking area is available for your convenience.
Additional Information
- Electricity is not fully included in the rental price. For short-term stays, 20 kWh per day are covered. Any usage beyond this will be charged at USD 0.50 per kWh.
- Typical electricity consumption ranges from 15 to 35 kWh daily.
- To help keep rental costs reasonable, please be mindful of your electricity use by turning off air conditioning and other appliances when not in use.
- Upon arrival, guests are required to provide a $200 damage deposit and sign an agreement accepting responsibility for electricity overages and any property damage.

Our family of 4 had a great 4 night stay at Claudia's! Her place was clean and equipped with all the basics for a comfortable stay. When we did reach out to Claudia, she was always quick to respond and did so in a friendly and helpful manner. She even arranged a taxi from the Costa Rica border for us as well as the delivery of another jug of water. As others have mentioned, the pool near the condo is small (but easy to access). We found another larger pool at the opposite end of the complex behind the Pizza House and it was excellent! The condo is an easy walk to the main streets of SJDS, a quick walk to a small pulperia (Stop and Buy) and a 1.3km walk to a larger store (Ahorra Mas). We ate at Henry's Iguana and it was great! We also used Casa Oro for surf lessons and enjoyed a day at Tree Casa - amazing place and delicious pizzas. A few things: the shower pressure is minimal, the couch well loved and having to think about AC usage can be frustrating. Still, a great place to stay!

Claudia was extremely helpful and communicative, helped us coordinate a driver from and back to the border. There was some hot water issue which was addressed the day after check in. Overall great stay and great place and would recommend Claudia as a host.

Merci pour l'accueil pro-actif! La personne ressource sur les lieux était très gentille. C'est facile de se déplacer du condo à la plage où les restaurants sont très nombreux. Les conseils quant aux services de taxis ont été très utiles et plusieurs activités sont possibles à partir du condo.

Me gustó mucho hospedarme aquí, el apartamento era tal cual lo describían. Claudia fue una súper anfitriona, atendió todas mis dudas de forma rápida. Desde ya estás planeando nuestras siguientes vacaciones aquí mismo. 😊

Prima appartement. Door de harde wind buiten kraakte en piepte de deuren en ramen nogal. De bank is echt aan vernieuwing toe. Verder dicht bij het dorp. 10 minuutjes lopen. Leuk lekker restaurantje om de hoek; Lomo Pinita.

We had a pleasant stay at Claudia’s place. The location is very practical, as it’s on the way to Maderas and close enough to the village of San Juan, which made getting around easy. The space itself is clean, nice, and well laid out, and Claudia was very friendly and responsive throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. There are just a few points worth noting for future guests. The pool did not meet our expectations, as it was dirty and located in a corner that felt less inviting. The mattresses were quite soft and not very comfortable for us, and the master bedroom let in a lot of light early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep once the sun came up. Additionally, the showers would benefit from some maintenance, as the water pressure was low and the shower head sprayed unevenly. Overall, despite these points, we still had a nice stay and would recommend the place, especially for its location, cleanliness, and the host’s availability and kindness.

No habían suficientes implementos de aseo personal, el consumo de electricidad condicionado, no había básicos en la cocina como por ejemplo sal, azúcar, aceite, café; te piden sacar la basura. El alojamiento está en una zona muy tranquila y segura, todo estaba limpio y en buen estado, muy bonito y cómodo.

Es un apartamento ubicado en un lugar estratégico, silencioso, cerca de el Cristo, la playa a 500 metros. Muy lindo en general.
