I really love the place, it’s very relaxing, cleaned, everything was perfect except for the jacuzzi that only works at a specific time and I think it was around 9:00 pm. Which was too late for us to enjoy it.

Our stay at Jaco in Art's place was amazing. you are experiencing beautiful sunsets, wildlife, ocean sounds, and the list of activities that you could indulge in goes on. very convenient to visit Manual Antonio and Tortugero. El Miro was just 30 minutes away. proximity to Jaco main strip gives access to variety of restaurants. Will certainly be my base for next Costa Rica Trip. Not to mention the fantastic support locally from Antonio, who manages the property. He was ensuring our stay was perfect. Thank you Antonio. Keep the magic going .🥂

Bathrooms had stains around the toilet toilets, clearly not cleaned. Shower doors you couldn’t see through because I had not been wiped down for a period of time. Air-conditioning filters not cleaned mold growing on them. The real kicker was art didn’t pay the electric bill power went out. His attendance proceeded to lie and say it must be something in the neighborhood. Meanwhile, everybody in the neighborhood had electric. Then ignored all communication until I finally opened a claim with Airbnb. He didn’t want to give the money back so I had to work it out with Airbnb, which was not the easiest task either. All food that was purchased went bad and had to pack up in the middle of the trip in desperately find a new place on Saturday night. I would suggest taking a pass on this location.

We had an amazing time at Art’s home. Antonio was an amazing host as well checking in with us and helping us find great things to do. Sat in the hot tub every afternoon and watched the sunset at the beach in the evenings. Local food was fantastic! Highly recommend. We came with 2 teenage girls and we all had a blast!!

We couldn’t even stay left right away Notified the owner we weren’t staying and they offered 1day rent back out of 3 The place was dirty,stained furniture A couple frying pans and that was it in the kitchen no freezer in the fridge and the place smelt terrible I never complain but this place is more of a flop house for beach parties not a home

Having been to Jaco a few times previously, this was our first stay at Art’s place. The property was beautiful, as described, and just steps from the beach. Antonio, the co-host, was awesome in every way during our stay. Antonio was always available and responsive regarding insight and suggestions on local restaurants and activities. A few suggestions which would make our five star review even better; provide bathroom hand towels, kitchen towels, dish rack, and a “no parking sign” on the garage door. A few decorative items throughout the house would enhance the home’s coziness.

Great location, responsive host and steps from the beach. It was exactly as described. The hot tub wasn't hot but still was used as a wading pool. Definitely would recommend this spot as it is only a 10min walk away from the business strip in Jaco but provides a quiet escape to relax near the beach. Super easy to catch beautiful sunsets too.
