Location
This property is situated just 10 minutes from the beaches of Dominical, overlooking one of the most tranquil jungles in the South Pacific. The sunsets viewed from the back patio are truly memorable. It offers an ideal base for daily excursions, being:
- 45 minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park
- 30 minutes from Marino Ballena National Park (Whale Tail) in Uvita
- 10 minutes from the well-known Nauyaca Waterfalls
A 4x4 vehicle, high clearance car, or SUV is recommended for access.
The Space
The unit is part of the Cascada Azul community, a secure and peaceful neighborhood. It is one of 10 residences overlooking the lush Baru River Valley, reminiscent of Jurassic Park.
Inside, the condo features:
- One private bedroom with a double bed, nightstands, and a custom wardrobe for clothing and shoe storage
- A bathroom equipped with a large shower, spacious countertop and sink, and drawers for towels and toiletries, plus hot water
- An open-plan living room and kitchen area with a sliding door leading to a private back patio offering stunning ocean views and changing sunsets
- A custom futon sofa bed that can accommodate 1-2 additional guests
The kitchen is fully equipped with:
- Dishes, silverware, and utensils
- Full refrigerator and freezer
- Stove and microwave
There is a small indoor dining area as well as patio furniture for outdoor meals.
Entertainment includes a 43-inch smart TV. While cable is not provided, guests are welcome to use their own streaming devices.
A shared grill is available near the pool. Laundry facilities with a washer and dryer are free to use; guests are kindly asked to be considerate of others.
Guest Access
Guests have one designated parking space and should only use that spot.
Access includes:

- Gazebo and pool area
- BBQ area
- Laundry facilities
- Private back patio
- Grassy area beyond the patio
Guests are encouraged to explore the community on foot but should stay on the community road and avoid entering neighbors’ driveways or private areas.

Please note:
- The community provides filtered spring water; however, drinking water is not supplied.
- During the rainy season, it is advisable to keep extra drinking water on hand in case the water clarity is affected.
- If you prefer not to drink tap water, please bring your own supply.

Hermoso lugar, con vistas a la montaña y un poco al océano. La piscina impecable. El lugar muy limpio ordenado y cómodo. Cerca de las playas, cerca de Nauyaca, cerca de Ecochontales.

Joe saved the day!!! We got stuck behind a downed tree and needed somewhere last minute to sleep for the night. I messaged Joe, and several other hosts, inquiring about a place to stay for the night. Within 10 minutes from my message, I had the placed booked with the access code. The home has the basics and is minimal, and the view is GORGEOUS!!!! The view alone is worth the price. 10/10 recommend staying with Joe!! He’s so friendly, helpful, and extremely responsive.

Great views! Excellent social areas. The room and kitchen have all the basics. It's a bit further from Dominical than we expected, the last kilometer of uphill gravel road slows you down a bit. It still is a nice drive. it was a very good stay. Would come back definitely.

Segunda vez que visitamos las villas y esperamos volver. La villa muy limpia, con todo lo que necesitas. Está muy bien equipada. La zona es paradisiaca, lo recomiendo para salir de la rutina y del estrés de la ciudad. Pudimos ver tucanes, chanchos de monte, iguanas y pizotes, mis hijas quedaron encantadas. La piscina muy limpia, se nota que le dan excelente mantenimiento a las villas y a la piscina. Joe es un excelente anfitrión, muy amable y responde rápido. Tienen excelente conexión a internet, pude trabajar sin problema remotamente. Espero volver pronto

En excelente alojamiento privado , muy tranquilo y con vistas increíbles hacia el mar, la zona es perfecta para descansar alejada totalmente de la carretera principal, Joe y Yony son muy amables y contestan rápidamente los mensajes, vale la pena hospedarse en este lugar todo es como lo indican en las descripciones y está cerca de los principales atractivos de la zona, personalmente espero volver muy pronto ya que es un lugar increíble

Like all other reviews mentioned.. the view is breathtaking 🍃 lots of nature and great for birdwatching. We really enjoyed the pool area! The villa itself was comfortable, and had the basics, it is not luxurious but it is just as described. We were not dissappointed, and Joe was an extremely responsive and helpful host. Thank you! We had a fun time at the place, close to waterfalls and beaches but far enough to feel secluded!
