This property is situated just 10 minutes from the beaches of Dominical, overlooking one of the most tranquil jungles in the South Pacific. The sunsets viewed from the back patio are truly memorable. It offers an ideal base for daily excursions, being:
- 45 minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park
- 30 minutes from Marino Ballena National Park (Whale Tail) in Uvita
- 10 minutes from the well-known Nauyaca Waterfalls
A 4x4 vehicle, high clearance car, or SUV is recommended for access.
The Space
The unit is part of the Cascada Azul community, a secure and peaceful neighborhood. It is one of 10 residences overlooking the lush Baru River Valley, reminiscent of Jurassic Park.
Inside, the condo features:
- One private bedroom with a double bed, nightstands, and a custom wardrobe for clothing and shoe storage
- A bathroom equipped with a large shower, spacious countertop and sink, and drawers for towels and toiletries, plus hot water
- An open-plan living room and kitchen area with a sliding door leading to a private back patio offering stunning ocean views and changing sunsets
- A custom futon sofa bed that can accommodate 1-2 additional guests
The kitchen is fully equipped with:
- Dishes, silverware, and utensils
- Full refrigerator and freezer
- Stove and microwave
There is a small indoor dining area as well as patio furniture for outdoor meals.
Entertainment includes a 43-inch smart TV. While cable is not provided, guests are welcome to use their own streaming devices.
A shared grill is available near the pool. Laundry facilities with a washer and dryer are free to use; guests are kindly asked to be considerate of others.

Guests have one designated parking space and should only use that spot.

Guests are encouraged to explore the community on foot but should stay on the community road and avoid entering neighbors’ driveways or private areas.

Beautiful place, with mountain views and a little bit of ocean views. The pool is impeccable. The place is very clean, tidy and comfortable. Close to the beaches, close to Nauyaca, close to Ecochontales.

Joe saved the day!!! We got stuck behind a downed tree and needed somewhere last minute to sleep for the night. I messaged Joe, and several other hosts, inquiring about a place to stay for the night. Within 10 minutes from my message, I had the placed booked with the access code. The home has the basics and is minimal, and the view is GORGEOUS!!!! The view alone is worth the price. 10/10 recommend staying with Joe!! He’s so friendly, helpful, and extremely responsive.

Great views! Excellent social areas. The room and kitchen have all the basics. It's a bit further from Dominical than we expected, the last kilometer of uphill gravel road slows you down a bit. It still is a nice drive. it was a very good stay. Would come back definitely.

This is the second time we've visited the villas and we hope to return. The villa is very clean, with everything you need. It's very well equipped. The area is heavenly, I recommend it to get out of the routine and stress of the city. We were able to see toucans, mountain pigs, iguanas and pizotes, my daughters were delighted. The pool is very clean, you can tell that the villas and the pool are very well maintained. Joe is an excellent host, very friendly and responds quickly. They have an excellent internet connection, I was able to work remotely without any problems. I hope to be back soon

In excellent private accommodation, very quiet and with incredible views towards the sea, the area is perfect to rest totally away from the main road, Joe and Yony are very friendly and quickly answer messages, it is worth staying in this place everything is as indicated in the descriptions and is close to the main attractions of the area, I personally hope to return very soon as it is an incredible place

Like all other reviews mentioned.. the view is breathtaking 🍃 lots of nature and great for birdwatching. We really enjoyed the pool area! The villa itself was comfortable, and had the basics, it is not luxurious but it is just as described. We were not dissappointed, and Joe was an extremely responsive and helpful host. Thank you! We had a fun time at the place, close to waterfalls and beaches but far enough to feel secluded!
