Location

Villa "Ocean and I" is located just a 4-minute walk (approximately 300 meters) from Playa Grande beach, ideal for long walks, beautiful sunsets, and memorable happy hours.

The villa is situated in the heart of Playa Grande, with several excellent restaurants, two small grocery and convenience stores, surf rental and lesson shops, and a small Wednesday night market within walking distance.

Nearby beaches accessible by car within 20 minutes include:

• Playa Conchal
• Playa Flamingo
• Playa Minas
• Playa Real

For a livelier atmosphere, Tamarindo is about a 30-minute drive or a 30-minute walk from the beach. Note that an estuary separates Playa Grande from Tamarindo, and crossing requires a small water taxi from Palm Beach for a few colones. Be sure to check the taxi schedule in advance.

Transportation and Access

The villa is approximately a 1-hour drive from Liberia Airport. The road from the airport to the villa is fully paved, and no four-wheel drive vehicle is necessary.

Guests are advised to use Waze GPS and follow signs to Parque Nacional Marino Las Baulas at Playa Grande.

There is a lockbox for gate and villa access upon arrival. The host can be available to greet guests if requested.

For shopping near Liberia Airport, Walmart is conveniently located nearby.
