5BR Villa in Tamarindo

What a great home for our family of 6 with space for more. View of ocean was amazing. Private yet just minutes to lots of great restaurants in Tamarindo. We woke up to Howler Monkeys one morning, which was exciting. Very clean and well stocked. We hope to stay there again

The place was very clean, and the cleaners came every morning which made it feel even more comfortable and relaxing. The view of the ocean was absolutely fantastic, especially during sunrise and sunset. The hosts were super responsive and helpful throughout the whole stay. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

We loved staying at his house; we felt right at home. Jaime was very attentive to us and always helped us with what we needed. However, there is one point we would like to comment on for future stays. While we appreciate the recommendations of contractors, we decided to opt for external services. We understand the need for someone from the house to accompany our chef, but perhaps greater flexibility with external suppliers could improve the experience. When traveling for enjoyment and exploration, it can feel a bit limiting if one of the travelers has to stay behind. We choose our supplier based on the value for money.

Our stay at this property was absolutely unforgettable! The house was amazing—beautifully designed, spacious, and spotless from top to bottom. The highlight was definitely relaxing in the infinity pool while soaking in the breathtaking view. It truly felt like paradise. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which made the experience even more special. A delightful surprise was Lola, the parakeet who lives on the property. It was so fun to watch her and listen to her cheerful singing throughout the day. Thank you for an incredible stay!

The house was everything and more. We’re so thankful for the pretty home that allowed us to experience Costa Rica. Could not recommend enough

7 of us stayed here for my bachelorette trip and the house was truly unbelievable. Jaime was awesome- he met us for check-in and showed us around, offered great local recommendations, and was overall very kind and responsive. We had a few slight issues with the security guard but Jaime was understanding and took care of it right away. The sunsets were unreal, the wildlife was beautiful (we already miss Lola!), and we felt safe. Of note- definitely be sure to rent a car as the drive up to the house would be too difficult for a golf cart. We also ran into two Uber drivers that were having difficulty getting up the last portion of the hill. 10/10 recommend this spot for anyone looking to get away in nature while also being right in town !!

Great place

The view is only one of the highlights, but you look over the estuary so it’s always green. The beach you look onto is not populated so it feels like a private experience. Jaime was our concierge, he was friendly, and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The cleaning staff was available, but unobtrusive when we asked for privacy. My husband broke a blender, we offered to replace it, Mariana came the next morning with a replacement so we didn’t have to worry about hunting for one. The guard at the gate pointed out some monkeys for us one evening as we were leaving to enjoy tamarindo. Tamarindo is so fun and exciting but I don’t like staying in noise. It was so quiet and peaceful at Cocoon. The road up the hill is bumpy but once you do it you learn where to drive and it actually became part of the fun. Rent a car so you can enjoy all the area has to offer. The pool was our kids favorite, it has a nice sunset so you don’t have to get completely submerged. Bidet and two outdoor showers.

This Airbnb was as amazing as advertised and an easy 5 stars. Beautiful views and a gorgeous, comfortable home. Every person we connected with both in advance and on the ground was easy to communicate with, extremely helpful, and genuinely interested in making our trip as perfect as possible.
