Villa Frente al Mar

Family trip for 16. We were thrilled with the accommodations and the service we received. Everything was perfect and we will be recommending to our friends. Perfect location, beautiful yard and the direct access to the beach was awesome. We enjoyed the privacy of the area and restaurants/shopping a short walk away!

Our family had the most amazing time staying at The Blue Jewel in Tamarindo! Everyone was beyond helpful with planning meals and activities throughout the trip. The staff for the home was incredible. They kept everything clean and pristine each day and they were kind and responsive to anything we needed. The home is large, but yet still very very warm and inviting with beautiful detail all throughout. The beach access to the home cannot be beat and the outdoor space was a dream. Everyday we got to see animals like iguanas, monkeys, and all of the different birds! It was really amazing. We had the chef cook for us several nights and for breakfast a few mornings to make the experience even more luxurious! It was truly an 5 star experience and we will definitely be returning! The Villa was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. The rooms were beautiful. Our kids and grandkids enjoyed the theater room and of course the pool and all the toys. The adults enjoyed coffee each morning outside at one of the many outdoor seating areas. We also enjoyed the big swing each day. There was one massive table on the patio that seated our entire family of 15 for dinner. We liked the well equipped kitchen, but most of all the 24/7 security, daily housekeeping and extremely helpful concierge. We already miss it and want to return for another week (or more)!

The Blue Jewel was the most special place to celebrate Christmas with my family. The home was absolutely stunning from the entrance to the beautiful area surrounding the pool! And walking out to the breathtaking view of the ocean gave us a sigh of relaxation from the start. The hoe's design perfectly blended luxury with comfort. The bedrooms proviced privacy and tranquility, while the lush outdoor areas with pool and ocean offered endless fun. Thoughtful details with beach chairs,floats, yoga mats and football, made the stay effortless. The security, immaculate housekeeping, and pristine landscape created a serene, worry-free environment. We adored gathering at the grand outdoor dining table, where every delicious meal by chefs Ulises, Jennifer, and Jose became a highlight. Special thanks tothe owner Greg and to Mariana for her warm welcome, thorough tour, and answering all of my questions before we arrived! Every detail made us feel so loved. The Blue Jewel is truly paradise!

The Blue Jewel was AMAZING! We had 13 people on this trip and it felt as if more people could have been there as well as us not being all on top of each other. It is in a great location. •10 minutes from the middle of Tamarindo •Right on the beach •5 minutes from a grocery store •restaurants ranging from 2-15 minutes walking distance. The services and amenities were great. We hired the private chef and they tended to our needs. We also booked in home massages and they were fabulous. All in all, it was a great time at the Blue Jewel and in Tamarindo as a whole!

For the group of 18 and needs that we had, the Blue Jewell was perfect. The bedrooms, each with a bath, and remainder of the property were well cared for and very clean. The security and household personnel were very good. Using Ulysis (and Ana), the chef, for all of our dinners was one of the best attributes of our stay. They prepared and served delightful and varied dinners (some with our input), and cleaned up afterwards all for a reasonable charge. We loved the location, the beach and the pool. If we had another group of 18 next year we would do it again.

This was one of our favorite vacations! This big, beautiful home allowed for us to have our entire family and friends under one house. The staff was incredible, house cleaners and security! The chef was really nice and great food! Right next to town was really nice too. Since you are close to town you can hear some music late into the night but it didn’t bother us!

The Blue Jewel and its staff were amazing!The house itself was just like the pictures, but better! So beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and made our stay at the blue Jewel just wonderful. Thank you to everyone! The house is only a few steps away from the beach and in walking distance to the center of Playa Tamarindo. My husband and I hosted this family trip, and everyone was so happy. Between the pool, the beach/beach club next door and town, there was always something to do for everyone. Shuttling to and from the Liberia International Airport was easy…very simple to arrange with concierge ahead of time. Can’t wait to go back!!!🩷

Our stay in Tamarindo at The Blue Jewel was perfect. The house is in a great location and well maintained. Having security and cleaning staff on-site made the experience feel more like a luxury hotel than an AirBnB!
