The Space

This condo offers a private and tranquil retreat within walking distance of everything Tamarindo has to offer. It serves as an ideal home base with ample room to relax and enjoy your stay. The unit includes air conditioning, cable TV, and internet access.

The fully equipped kitchen features:

• Full-sized refrigerator
• Cooktop and oven
• Dishwasher
• Coffee maker
• Microwave
• Toaster
• Blender
• Cookware, flatware, and dishes for six guests

For your convenience, the condo provides:

• Beach towels and bath towels for all registered guests
• Hand towels in the bathroom
• Kitchen towels
• Biodegradable 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, body wash, and kitchen soap
• Iron and hairdryer
• Beach chairs, coolers, and sand toys available on a first-come, first-served basis within the building

Weekly cleaning services are included for stays longer than seven nights. Additional cleanings can be arranged for a fee.

Important Notice: Construction will begin next door in January 2025 and is expected to continue until June 2025. This may cause daytime noise. Rates have been discounted during this period as an apology for any inconvenience. The host is happy to provide recommendations for quieter activities upon request.

Please note, the condo is located on the fourth floor and the building does not have an elevator. Noise from neighbors or nearby construction during legal working hours is possible.

Guest Access and Amenities

Guests have full access to the common areas between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM, which include:

• Plunge pool
• Shallow pool for children
• Outdoor shower and foot shower
• Gas BBQ grill with grilling tools
• Lounging areas near the pool for relaxing or dining outdoors

Self check-in is available. Onsite parking is limited to one vehicle.

Location

The condo is conveniently situated:

• 2-minute walk to the beach
• 4-minute walk to the town center

Tamarindo is undergoing significant development in the surrounding areas, which may contribute to occasional noise.

Community Support

A portion of every stay is donated to ADI Tamarindo, a local organization dedicated to improving the community. Their initiatives include:

• Establishing and expanding the lifeguard program
• Hosting the Saturday morning farmers market
• Running a youth soccer program
• Organizing beach cleanups and enhancing local security

Your stay helps support these valuable community efforts.

Additional Information

Tamarindo’s natural environment means it is common to encounter small wildlife such as ants, spiders, moths, lizards, flies, and beetles inside or around homes, especially during the rainy season. Guests are advised to keep food sealed to avoid attracting insects.

• Pest control measures are in place, including traps and sprays.
• Bygon spray is provided under the kitchen sink for guest use.
• If needed, a handyman can be dispatched to address pest issues.
• Guests sensitive to wildlife or pests should consider this before booking.

Power outages can occur in Costa Rica. If an outage lasts longer than six hours, a 25% refund will be issued for the affected day. No refunds are given for shorter outages.

You may also see local wildlife such as howler monkeys, skunks, porcupines, possums, iguanas, and hawks. It is best to observe them from a distance.

Pets are not allowed in this condo.
