This was a great place however, the villas are dated, and several things did not work. This is by no means a modern unit, but it is a good vacation spot.

The beautiful villa, a super comfortable place to be with your family. There were 9 of us and we were all delighted with the villa, my children spent their time in the pool. Yes. I doubt we would return

The home is spacious and clean and the pool and spa sparkling clean. The view is fantastic! However there are many issues Saul needs to address such as get a new spa cover (it is trashed), light switches electrical needs fixing, fountain does not work, blender top missing, dishwasher basket to be replaced, lint filter in dryer to be replaced and cleaned under the filter. If Saul addressed these things I think he would get more returning renters. I have let him know about these issues.

Overall, our stay at MonteCristo was great. Pros: The views are absolutely stunning, no matter which villa you’re in. The resort is triple gated & quiet, so it feels very safe&secure. We spent lots of time walking around-it’s very hilly, so be prepared. You have access to all 3 resorts while you stay here: montecristo,sunset beach&Pacifico (adults only). So there are lots of restaurants available. Groceries are expensive in Cabo, so depending on your plans, adding on the all-inclusive food package at check in may be worth it. The food was good from the 2 restaurants we ate at. We didn’t find that the ladies at check in gave us much info, so download the app & look at the map. The pool was awesome & very warm. However, the villa is DATED & needs updating. There were many maintenance issues (oven didn’t work, sink was clogged, couch was broken, lights were burnt out, a bed was sagged). It is marketed as a luxury villa & that’s not completely accurate. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

A fantastic stay. Panoramic views facing the ocean are unbeatable. Catch a beautiful sunset every night from one of several vantage points including the infinity pool or balcony off the upstairs. Home is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Rainfall shower is a delight to either start or end your day. Highly recommended!
