The Community

Montecristo is an exclusive gated community in Los Cabos, perched high on a dramatic mountainside with sweeping ocean views over Quivira’s Jack Nicklaus Signature course. The community is impeccably landscaped and maintained, offering privacy, a refined clubhouse, and a peaceful Pacific setting at the tip of the Baja Peninsula.

The Space

Montecristo villas are designed for a luxurious and comfortable stay. Each villa includes:

• A private infinity pool
• Indoor and outdoor jacuzzis
• Spacious terraces
• A central family room
• Reading areas
• Walk-in closets

Please note that listings are not tied to a specific villa. All villas share the same layout, amenities, private pool, and private jacuzzi. Views may vary slightly between villas, and a specific view or location cannot be guaranteed. Villas are managed in both Phase I and Phase II.

Pricing is based on the number of guests. Please reserve the villa using the correct guest count. If additional guests arrive beyond the number included in the reservation, the extra guest fee will double when reported during or after check-in. If you are unsure of your final group size, guests may be added before arrival at the standard rate. Please update the reservation at least a couple of days before check-in.

Housekeeping is not included but may be added for $100 USD per day.

Please review the house rules carefully. The Montecristo community has strict regulations, and following them helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Pantry items are not provided, including:

• Salt and pepper
• Condiments
• Cooking oils
• Aluminum foil
• Plastic wrap
• Coffee
• Sugar

Guests also have access to Pueblo Bonito Resorts, which offer excellent service standards and amenities.

Environmental Sanitation Tax

The Government of Los Cabos has implemented an Environmental Sanitation Tax to support local environmental and community infrastructure. Reservations made from September 8, 2022 onward are subject to this tax.

The fee is $85 MXN per room per night, approximately $5 USD, and will be charged at check-out in addition to the rental total.

Guest Discounts

The following discounts apply during your stay:

• 10% discount on food and beverages at Pueblo Bonito restaurants and bars
• 20% discount on spa treatments at Pueblo Bonito spas
• 25% discount on rounds of golf at the exclusive Quivira Golf Course

Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions, certificates, or coupons.

Important Information

Outside Services

Outside services are not permitted within the Quivira Los Cabos community. This includes private chefs, catering services, grocery shopping services, maid services, and similar services. Only services provided by Pueblo Bonito Resorts are permitted.

Extra Guest Charges

Any guest added after the original booking will incur an additional fee. Please ensure that the reservation reflects the total number of guests staying at the villa.

All guests must be registered, and all applicable guest fees must be paid. The extra guest fee is $50 USD per person per night when guests are added after the reservation is made. For additional guests reported during or after check-in, the fee increases to $100 USD per person per night.

Villa Assignment

The specific villa will be confirmed only at check-in and cannot be confirmed or guaranteed beforehand. As a multi-unit vacation rental property, villas are assigned according to reservation departures and arrivals.

Early Check-In

Upon arrival, guests may go directly to the clubhouse reception desk. The villa’s readiness for early check-in cannot be confirmed in advance, regardless of the circumstances. The only guaranteed readiness time is 4:00 p.m.

If the villa is ready earlier on the day of check-in, guests will be welcome to enter. While waiting, guests may use the clubhouse facilities. The team can also store luggage and groceries until the villa is ready.

Vacation Rental Experience

This is a vacation rental experience, which differs from a timeshare or a hotel rental booked directly through the resorts. Several amenities included with resort bookings are not included with vacation rentals.

The amenities provided with this vacation rental are consistent with those generally offered in the vacation rental industry and with Airbnb’s recommendations for essential amenities.
