Haydee and Claudia were awesome all the way around. Very sweet and helpful and the food was amazing. They definitely made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed. We initially had slow communication with Margaret but she did let us know that she doesn’t get messages everyday. She gave us a call about a week after I message her, which was the before our flight left, and answered questions we had. She suggested we bring our own speaker but when we arrived there was a brand new Bluetooth speaker waiting for us. There is a mandatory fee for food but you do get unused money returned which was GOOD. We did have a problem with the two upstairs rooms being hot during our entire stay someone did come to look at them but the problem didn’t get resolved. I do wish there was some sort of extra precautions for the mosquitos. THEY ARE HORRIBLE maybe a fire pit or citronella plants around the property. The misquotes definitely made it hard to enjoy the outside amenities of the home

Casa Tortuga is the perfect place to stay, whether you’re with your family and kids, or a couples getaway. Haydee and her staff made the most amazing meals for our group and kept our rooms tidy every day. The convenience of having a dock for local pickup for adventures is a major plus.

Wow!!! This place is amazing! We just finished a full week there with friends to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. It could not have been better! Everything about Casa Tortuga is fabulous — the large rooms, awesome pool, and beachfront view. Also, Haydee and her assistants fixed us such amazing meals that we never went out to eat. I understand all the raving reviews now and am glad to add mine to the mix. Perfect!!

Haydee, Sonya & Claudia were the ABSOLUTE BEST!! They are wonderful, sweet ladies that did an excellent job of taking care of us. The three of them is what would bring us all back. They were awesome!! We can’t say enough nice things about them! The house & pool were wonderful but the people were the best! The view from the house was amazing. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had. The food the 3 ladies cooked was AMAZING! There wasn’t one thing they cooked that we didn’t like. We looked forward to every meal. She cooked the fish that the guys caught on their excursion and adjusted our meals if we asked. It was a truly wonderful, pleasant, relaxing experience!

We had a great stay. House and pool as advertised - all were great! The staff was outstanding and the food was incredible. Worth every penny!

We were 2 families with 4 adults and 6 teenagers and the house was perfect. The adults were upstairs and the kids downstairs! Lots of room, beds comfortable, and AC in each room for sleeping at night. We all loved the pool and the kids played volleyball. The location is perfect with the beach right there and the bar we visited each afternoon a few minutes walk down the beach. Best part was the cooking by Maria and her staff with 3 meals a day if wanted. Each meal was better than the last! They cleaned the house each day and even folded our laundry! This house is perfect for a large family or two families. We will be back very soon!

If you're going to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize, Casa Tortuga is a wonderful place to stay. I rented the house for a group of 14 friends and we had a really great stay. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the house was charming, clean and comfortable. The pool was perfect, we spent a lot of time there. Before our stay, our hostess Margaret took the time to provide us with tons of local tips and suggestions for transportation, excursions and adventures. She answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. Upon our arrival, the onsite caretaker, Maria, and her team were fantastic. Maria was always there to help if we needed anything (she even loaned one of our guests a fishing pole to fish off the end of the dock). The food she and her team prepared throughout the week was absolutely amazing. I feel spoiled after a week at Casa Tortuga, and readjusting to real life today is rough--desperately craving pina coladas, conch fritters, and another slice of that homemade key lime pie!

Casa Tortuga is amazing! There were 5 couples and we each had incredibly beautiful rooms. The food and meals provided by Maria were terrific. We played a lot of volleyball on our private volleyball court, had massages in our private gazebo, and made fun memories in the pool! The property is second to none! I would highly recommend a stay at this place!

Casa Tortuga and the staff were absolutely divine. We had thirteen guests who were impressed with the 5 star meals and service morning, noon and night. From the Chilaquiles to the lobster tacos, we were highly impressed and always satiated. The rooms, the pool, the volleyball court and the chess set were perfect pass times for all guests. The hammocks that we’re peppered throughout the property were remarkably calming and comfortable. Because of all of this, my husbands 40th birthday was a hit!! I am immensely grateful!!
