The accommodation matched the listing description accurately, and everything was as advertised. The location is fantastic, with the beach literally right next to the property, making it super easy to just walk over any time of day. Inside, the bedroom’s air conditioning and the ceiling fan both worked really well and made for very comfortable, cool nights, even in the heat. On the downside, there is a stagnant body of water right next to House 2 that gives off a pretty unpleasant smell. Both showers (there are two) drain very slowly. Overall, the accommodation was reasonably clean, but not to a high standard. There’s definitely room for improvement — the carpet and bathroom, for example, could have used a more thorough cleaning. All in all, it was a pretty nice experience.

Bloke's place was very private and felt very safe. The space was ample and ideal. It also included a parking space which was perfect, given we had rented a car. It is walkable to the beach and there is plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Bloke provided a lot of helpful instructions and pictures that made it easy to find his place. Without them I think we would have been looking for a while! We really enjoyed the place and the dual shower head was a plus. Keep in mind if you are booking Bloke's place that the AC is located only in the bedroom. My husband and I spent most of our time in the room, so it didn't matter to us. But if you are someone planning to spend more time in the living room, keep this in mind! Other than that, we highly recommend staying here when you are in Jaco!
