The Space
This fully equipped two-bedroom house is nestled within a beautiful tropical park. You can relax on your covered terrace or in a hammock near the pool while enjoying the sights and sounds of monkeys and tropical birds.
The property spans a large area and features a shared pool used by only five other small units. The grounds are rich with trees and wildlife, including squirrels, monkeys, and various tropical birds. As this is a preserved tropical environment, guests are asked to respect the local flora and fauna.
Please note that occasional ants and insects may enter the house. This is normal in such a setting. To minimize their presence, basic precautions like not leaving food out are recommended.
Our property strikes a balance between a well-maintained park and a protected forest. We are committed to reforestation efforts through our nonprofit organization, Savage Lands.
Location
The house is situated approximately 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) from the beach. Several other beautiful and secluded beaches are just a short drive away. A grocery store is conveniently located near the property entrance, and there are multiple restaurants in the surrounding area.
We suggest renting a car and stopping by a supermarket in either Santa Cruz or Tamarindo for your convenience.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive use of the entire unit. The pool is the only shared space.
You will receive a key for the main gate, which is kept private and closed to the public around 7 pm each evening. You may enter and exit freely but are asked to close the gate behind you when coming or going.
Having your own transportation is highly recommended.

- Pets are not allowed
- Barbecue use is prohibited
- No additional guests permitted
- Music must remain inside the house
- No glass containers allowed on the pool terrace
- Ball games are not allowed on the property
Laundry service is available for $15. Cleaning service costs $25.
The house is supplied with bed linens, kitchen cloths, and towels. Pool and beach towels, soap, shampoo, and similar items are not provided. Toilet paper, garbage bags, and soap dishes are supplied only at the start of your stay; guests are responsible for replenishing these items.
Sheets and towels are changed weekly. Please wash your dishes and dispose of trash properly.
We offer board and stand-up paddleboard rentals.
Additional Notes
This accommodation operates like an Airbnb and does not include hotel services or 24/7 assistance. Guests are responsible for organizing their own stay.

Great place to stay in the countryside. Everything super clean. Very well equipped kitchen. Great pool. There are many beautiful beaches and restaurants in the area, a great café and a small supermarket are within walking distance. The hosts are super friendly and straightforward. We were allowed to use the pool even longer after check-out. Thank you again for everything!

Christian's place is a paradise oasis. We liked the privacy at the house and the opportunity to meet the hosts and other guests at the communal pool. The grounds are beautiful. The hosts are dedicated to reforestation and have developed a lovely property with lots of nature surrounding it. We loved just hanging out in the hammock and listening to the sounds of nature or spotting animals. On the property we had the pleasure of seeing howler monkeys, an armadillo, a snake, and many species of birds including a mot mot. Although the property is vibrant in January, the surrounding area is very dry and dusty. The dirt in the air from the roads irritated my lungs. I wouldn't want to walk on the roads this time of year. The surrounding beaches were very quiet and natural, with strong currents. They are more suited to surfing than swimming. We are grateful for Christian's oasis and the hosts' reforestation work at their own and surrounding properties.

We had a pleasant stay at the lodge. The park that has been created is truly beautiful, and the houses are very well designed with a lot of attention to detail. Waking up to the sounds of birds and animals in the morning was especially lovely and made the experience feel very peaceful and close to nature.

This is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. We really loved the focus that Sylvain and Caroline have on the natur and that is just paying back. I've been in CR on and off for 17 years and frequently stay in Guana. We were so happy to finally get to stay with C&C! Their place is not only wonderful and feels like true Guanacaste, but they are wonderful humans. They are super kind, communicative, professional, and thoughtful. Stay here and support the concept of preserving the beautiful Costa Rican jungles and forests as they are and should be. We felt so grateful to be able to stay somewhere with hosts that are focused on preservation and eco-consciousness. The location is perfect and tranquil and close to my favorite cafes new location.
