Great place, great location! I was close to everything I wanted to go to. I had a golf cart, but I could easily walk to town which I did often. The condo is quiet, clean, and well air-conditioned. Having a pool really helped a lot when it came to cooling off in the middle of the afternoon. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved Carla y Mariano’s place! The complex was private and very peaceful while also being close to everything. We loved the location! Literally steps to the beach and the action of Tamarindo. The house was clean, it had all of the amenities we needed to feel at home, and the hosts were super friendly and responsive!

Carla Y Mariano’s place was beyond expectations! The apartment was super cute, comfy, air conditioning worked great, the apt’s own private pool was so refreshing! Will definitely be back!! Pura Vida!

This location could be great for your vacation, but with one big caveat. If you plan to be gone for the majority of your day not staying at the Airbnb, this likely is a good spot. If you plan to spend the majority of your day at the rental, I would reconsider. The alarming issue was the construction noise, which was out of the hosts control. We planned this entire trip around the ability to work remote from Costa Rica, and being in the Airbnb during the day was tough. 7 am to 6pm every day there was nonstop construction 15 meters away. We worked the full day in noise cancelling headphones but found it hard to focus and relax. We had to take breaks and walk to the beach to escape construction noise. The outdoor space was almost unusable. The hosts are kind and responsive, so I would confirm with them the construction is done before booking. Ultimately, the property checks a box and is new and in a great location, but did not meet the luxe private stay we saw in photos.

We had an amazing stay. The place is a 15 min to the town of Tamarindo. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach! Everything went well. We had some wasps making a nest and they arrived within 20 minutes to take it down!

Stay canceled upon arrival because not notified of construction work behind the listing, too much noise and dust. Carla was very responsive, she arrived within 15 minutes and helped us find a new place to stay .

The house was lovely - clean, well furnished and comfortable. The only issue was the construction next door - there is no privacy through the top floor windows and the construction workers starred and watched us which made us as females feel very uncomfortable.
