The Location was great, Private, and peaceful. We loved the swimming pool and how quiet the villa was. The kitchen equipment were not very clean, and some of the towels and bed sheets had stains. Also the description said 4 beds and their was 3 beds, they separated one for us but we slept without blankets on the first night and the Co host insisted it was my fault, but clearly it didn’t match the discerption and pictures. Other than that everything was good we enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful home located on the side of the mountain over looking the ocean. It was so amazing waking up and having coffee on the balcony and seeing toucans and macaws. Home was super clean and kitchen was equipped with everything you need to cook. The pool was great on hot days to just cool off and watch the sunset. Highly recommend this home!!

We had an amazing stay - the villa was perfect for my wife and I and our two teenagers (13 and 15). Clean, secure, spacious, air conditioned bedrooms, and covered parking (invaluable on a few rainy nights). The pool was perfect for cooling off after a day hiking or at the beach. The views were amazing - every bit as good as in the photos. The concierge services were excellent. Jerome was responsive and attentive during and before our stay, always available to answer questions when we needed. We worked with Cathleen (Explore Uvita) to book several excursions and she was a great help in selecting not only the activities but also the specific providers that would be best for our group. All of our tours/activities were great. In addition, we booked the private chefs for a dinner, we used the car service to get to and from the airport, and Jerome handled our car rental (delivered to the house) - all of these services were top notch.

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I absolutely would! We saw monkeys, toucans, macaws, and so much more wildlife right from the porch. Stunning view. The house is beautiful. We really really enjoyed our stay, and in the words of my dad: “this is the closest to paradise you could possibly get.”

This is a "looks new" very private, beautiful home with a million dollar view. Immaculate when we arrived and also quite secure, given location, gated access, and security system. You absolutely need to have an AWD/4WD vehicle for access, as the last 200 meters is dirt road and quite steep. From either the main living area or second floor (bedrooms), there are end-to-end decks with phenomenal views of the jungle and coastline. About 5-7 minutes to town, but the beautiful surroundings, quiet, and wildlife are a worthy payoff. We had Scarlet Macaws, Capybara, Coatimundi, and White-faced Capuchins stop by during our visit. Each bedroom has its own AC, so everyone gets their favorite sleep number. ;-)

We paid for the view—and it was absolutely worth it. Waking up to breakfast on the porch, overlooking the stunning ocean and jungle landscape, was unforgettable. The home felt incredibly safe and secure, with everything explained clearly from the moment we arrived—zero issues. Uvita itself offers the perfect blend of laid-back living with all the essentials close by. The house felt wonderfully secluded, surrounded by nature, yet was close enough to town for anything we needed. The hosts were amazing—responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. The home was beautifully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals when we wanted to stay in and enjoy the peaceful setting. It was a perfect stay for our family of five, and we’ll definitely be back!

Great place to stay in Uvita, with a fantastic view of the whale tail. Jerome was a very nice host and the instructions for check-in were very clear.
