Hacienda Tepich is fully restored while preserving the colonial character and historic details of its original architecture. Every corner evokes another era and offers a peaceful setting to recharge.
Location
Hacienda Tepich is located in Tepich de Carrillo, in the municipality of Acanceh. It is approximately:
- 25 minutes from Mérida
- 30 minutes from downtown Mérida
- 35 minutes from Mérida International Airport
- 49 minutes from the port of Progreso
Its convenient location makes it easy to explore Yucatán’s tourist attractions and historic sites while enjoying the tranquility of the hacienda.
The Space
The hacienda retains its original structure, with all rooms connected by an exterior corridor. This design provides excellent natural lighting and ventilation throughout the property.
The main accommodation includes seven rooms. Each room features:
- Air conditioning
- Ceiling fan
- Smart television
- Private bathroom
Five rooms have one king-size bed, while two rooms have two queen-size beds.
The property also includes:
- Eight full bathrooms
- Two powder rooms in the outdoor area
- Dining room
- Living room
- Television and entertainment room

- Hammock area
- Several outdoor spaces and gardens
Kitchen
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with:
- Gas stove and oven
- Large refrigerator
- Microwave oven
- Blender

- Dolce Gusto coffee maker
- Cooking utensils
Additional Rooms
Two additional rooms are available for an extra charge:
- Bedroom 8: One king-size bed, $2,000 pesos per night, maximum capacity of two guests
- Bedroom 9: Two double beds, $2,500 pesos per night, maximum capacity of four guests
These two rooms share a bathroom located between them.
With all nine rooms available, the hacienda can accommodate up to 24 guests. Please mention in your inquiry if you require more than the seven rooms included in the standard accommodation.
Guest Access
Guests have access to all areas described above, as well as the surrounding gardens.
Some rooms are used for storage and are reserved for staff.

The stay includes daily cleaning, including:
- Outdoor-area cleaning
- Garden maintenance
- Pool maintenance
- Assistance with guests’ needs
The support staff live on the hacienda grounds in a separate area, independent from the main structure. They provide the necessary service while respecting guests’ privacy.

The host was very friendly and helpful, however we only asked for a recommendation and he never answered us. The person in charge was super helpful and kind. The place is beautiful but with annoying maintenance details like a water faucet that dripped all the time in the bathroom and it was annoying to hear it all the time, to see the water running and it wasn't fixed. There were also two garbage dumps on the property. You can see that they throw it away and burn it. It's very unpleasant to walk around the property and find garbage that makes the dogs outside come in at a certain time to look for something to eat. The host recommended a person who would come to cook with the supplies, and although it is a service independent of the place, we would have expected some quality since you are in a luxury and high-cost property and this service, although very friendly and attentive, needs supervision in hygiene and preparation of recipes, the food was bad and the hygiene with the food was bad too. Overall a good experience and a very nice place

This is an incredible hacienda. It was great for our family reunion of 12 with ample space to spread. The outdoor areas is incredible, so many beautiful trees and birds. You wake up every morning with a fully immersive jungle concert and feel right in it. I would also highly recommend Fatima’s services for food, as it is very good quality and she and her team are super accommodating. The only points I’d mention is: 1. Apart from Merida, it’s far away from a lot of sites you may want to visit so be ready to drive around. 2. Kitchen is not as fully equipped as one might expect if you like cooking large meals for family, but it was not a major hurdle is using Fatima’s services. Highly recommend overall, it is a very unique place to stay Incredible place

Amazing stay, we celebrated our 5 years anniversary in the hacienda and it was such a special time and place! Special thanks to Betto who helped us every step of the way. He is so kind and made us feel at home immediately ! And for Fatima too! She was cooking for us and also made food for the party; best Cochinita pibil I tried, and the sopa de Lima too! This holiday felt like heaven, thank you again!!!

100% recommending We would definitely come back A perfect place to enjoy the tranquility of the Hacienda. Very clean and comfortable all its rooms. The well equipped kitchen. The beautiful gardens are perfect for taking photos, just like the photos in your listing. The pool is very nice ( although due to the dates it was cold, we still enjoy it ) The town of Acancech is 30 min from Merida and there is no Uber service there, I recommend that they be friends with the Uber that took them to the Hacienda so that the go by Uds if they want to take a walk in the center of Merida.

We rented the hacienda for a women's meditation retreat and it was the perfect place. Guests had their privacy, there were communal spaces and lots of room on the grounds. The food prepared by Fatima was outstanding. The beech tree in the back took center stage during our Mayan blessing ceremony and we all hugged it for its healing powers. We will hopefully be back next year.

Our stay at this beautiful hacienda was truly unforgettable. The property itself is stunning, with serene and relaxing surroundings that made it the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday with family and friends. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. They coordinated transportation, arranged a private chef, and took care of every detail, making our vacation seamless and stress-free. Their hospitality and attention to detail were second to none.
