Additional Information
Costa Rica aims to be carbon neutral, which results in high electricity costs. Each bedroom is equipped with an independent air conditioning unit, and guests are kindly asked to turn off the AC when leaving the rooms to conserve energy and reduce expenses. There is no air conditioning in the main living and kitchen area due to its size and the environmental impact of cooling such a large space. Instead, this area features numerous windows, sliding doors, and fans to encourage natural ventilation. Enjoying the jungle breeze and taking occasional dips in the pool is recommended.
Petty theft can occur in tourist areas, so guests are encouraged to follow simple safety measures explained by Kattia at check-in. The property is secured with a green wall fence, outdoor security cameras, security lighting, and an alarm system, with instructions provided upon arrival. Guests should always secure valuables such as iPads, computers, cash, passports, and phones in the safe before leaving the villa and ensure all gates are closed and locked.
A security guard is provided during dining hours for added peace of mind.

We had a great stay, the house is in a great location close enough to many restaurants, shops and the beach, but in a quiet part of town. The space is incredible, beautiful back lanai with the pool with lots of monkeys on the trees. Everything you need in the house, very comfy beds, nice linens and towels, fully stocked kitchen and great space for a group of people. Kattia the property manager was wonderful to deal with, she was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this wonderful house in Nosara.

Great stay, just like the pictures. Short walk (3 minutes) to a few great restaurants, 5 minute walk to the beach, which was great for sunset. Pool was great, howler monkeys went literally right over our heads, and kids had fun spotting iguanas, they felt like they were friends with one across the street that lives in the tree stump by the time we left! VERY room, comfy beds, great pillows. Great kitchen, electricity was on the entire week for us. Pool was a home run with the kids. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks! Also - having Jorge there for security outside the home at night was a nice added benefit, we gave him ice cream :)

House looked just like the pictures! Plenty of room for our party of 6. We enjoyed the pool and back patio often. Saw lots of birds and local wildlife— even had a monkey drop something from a tree on me while I was sitting by the pool! A couple of things to know that I didn’t see in the listing or others’ reviews is that beach towels are provided, there’s even a nice boogie board to use at a near by beach, the water was good to drink, and coffee and filters were provided. One thing to know and learn from our experience is to have caution when parking in the gated parking space. The approach is quite steep and there’s an angle iron on the top. We had an all wheel drive SUV (though had tried to rent a 4x4) and bottomed out/high-centered while pulling in. It knocked a hole in the fuel tank(?) and spilled diesel everywhere. We had to have a new rental brought out and exchanged (shout out to Adobe in Liberia— highly recommend!). Overall a wonderful stay and would stay again!

Nice common area and pool. The house was very clean. We appreciated the security guard who watches the house for part of the evening, and included amenities such as beach towels, kitchenware, and board games. A few items to note: There are 2 great upstairs bedrooms. The other 3 bedrooms are downstairs, which has an awkward layout including 1 “bedroom” that does not actually have any storage or bathroom access (it is more of an office). Check in was a bit challenging—we were completely locked out of the property which was not ideal after a long drive and in the heat of summer. Lastly, there is some general maintenance needed (eg, loose faucets, some fan controllers not working) although nothing that made the house unlivable. Overall, if you’re traveling with a larger group and/or with children, this is a good option.

David’s house is very close to the beach and the walking trails. On top of El Chivo and the bodega. We love its location. The pool is great in the middle of the day when it is hot at the beach. Kattia was super responsive and accommodating.

Davis place was perfect for our stay! The host was very responsive and helpful when we ran into a few issues. The house is very large with lots of room. The pool and patio are a perfect place to cool down. We would definitely stay again!
