Surrounded by coconut palms and overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the villa is ideal for pool days, beach walks, and spectacular sunsets. Daily housekeeping and pool service are included.
The Space
Private Beachfront Villa
El Sol La Vida is a spacious private beachfront villa with six bedrooms and six bathrooms. Five bedrooms have private bathrooms with walk-in showers, while the sixth bedroom has a bathroom conveniently located next to it.
All beds are made with duvet covers that are freshly laundered between every guest stay.
Villa Layout
- The main level includes the kitchen, dining area, and living room, creating a comfortable central gathering space.
- Two bedrooms are located down the hall from the main living area.
- Two additional bedrooms with private bathrooms are connected to the main level and have separate entrances for added privacy.
- Upstairs, two more guest bedrooms each feature a private entrance and balcony.
Private Pool, Jacuzzi, and Outdoor Living
Enjoy a large private swimming pool and an in-ground tiled Jacuzzi, exclusively available to your group during your stay.
- Three umbrella-style palapas provide shade around the pool.
- A large covered palapa extending from the main house offers space for dining, relaxing, and enjoying cocktails by the pool.
- The property sits directly on a beautiful, uncrowded beach with private access from the villa.
- Surf’s Up Café is located next door and serves breakfast and lunch, providing a convenient dining option just steps away.
Location and Transportation
El Sol La Vida is situated in a quieter beachfront area of Mazatlán, away from the busier tourist districts.
Other than Surf’s Up Café next door, shops, supermarkets, and restaurants are not within comfortable walking distance. A car, taxi, Uber, or other transportation is recommended.
Approximate driving times include:
- Walmart, shopping centers, supermarkets, and additional restaurants: 10 minutes
- Golden Zone: 20 minutes
- Centro Histórico (Old Town): 40 minutes
Travel times may vary depending on traffic.

Your Host Lives on the Property
Please be aware before booking that the host lives on the property in a completely separate private apartment upstairs.
The apartment is separate from all guest accommodations and guest areas. The villa, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor entertaining areas, and beach access are exclusively for your group during your stay and are not shared with the host.
The host respects guests’ privacy and does not use the guest areas during your stay, but is nearby and available if you need assistance or have questions.
Nearby Construction
A condominium is currently under construction one lot away from the property.
Construction generally takes place during normal daytime working hours, so occasional construction noise may be heard during the day. There is no construction at night or on Sundays.

El Sol La Vida means “The Sun, The Life.” Each evening, you can watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean from the property—a beautiful way to end another day by the sea.

What a wonderful and beautiful villa, it had all the amenities we were expecting. My family of 13 reunion appreciated the spaces/luxury. We hired Chef Brenda & her dad to make us breakfasts/dinners for 7 days, she was experienced in authentic meals. She charged for shopping and for preparing meals. There was only 1 restaurant within miles it had: wonderful music, service was slow, food was marginal. Adjacent construction, 4 story high building, was continuing. Hot tub was being repaired. Villa was immediately along a pristine sandy beach, though it was difficult to get over the hurricane barrier to get to the sand/ocean. Aside from my negatives comments, those out-way the many, many amenities where this property shined. Owners lived on the property: which was a real plus, very pleasant, helpful with advice, excursions, did shopping and made sure our security felt important, felt like family. Loved the BBQ grill. I will surely return!

Linda and Bill are lovely people. Brenda the housekeeper was a gem. The pool was awesome. However the construction right next door was not awesome.

The property was very nicely kept and the pictures showed what it looked like. The property is far from the stores and restaurants but a restaurant option is next door, which closes at 4. You can easily plan your entire stay without leaving the property. We felt safe and very relaxing. The sunsets were amazing. The beds were comfortable. A drinking water dispenser was available which was nice. The last evening there was a party occurring a couple doors down with DJ therefore took away from a peaceful evening. Aside from that the property was clean, well kept and the gardener and cleaner were around the property if any questions or anything was needed.
