Open-air living,...
The Space
Casa Dolce Vita is perched high above the rainforest, offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The villa's distinctive architecture highlights the natural surroundings with open-air living spaces and breathtaking vistas from all four floors. This exceptional home includes four bedrooms and four full bathrooms, located in a private neighborhood near beaches and Manuel Antonio National Park.
Guests can expect frequent sightings of monkeys, so having a camera ready is highly recommended.
Two master bedrooms are featured in the villa, one on each of the first two floors. The first-floor master bedroom includes a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, a sink, refrigerator, and direct access to the pool. The second-floor master is spacious, with a king bed, en-suite bathroom featuring a jetted tub, and a private balcony overlooking the ocean.
The open-air great room combines a living area and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, all with expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and Manuel Antonio National Park. Adjacent to this space is an elevated dining area with seating for eight, framed by the ocean and rainforest, creating a serene dining experience.
A third bedroom is located just off the great room, with private access to the third-floor bathroom. A winding staircase leads to the fourth-floor "crow's nest" bedroom, which features a raised platform queen bed and a large en-suite bathroom.
The great room benefits from ocean breezes and cathedral ceilings with exposed beams and ceiling fans for natural cooling. Throughout the villa, local materials such as ceramics and bamboo are incorporated, including custom-built cabinets and handcrafted tiles, enhancing the tropical ambiance.

We had an absolutely wonderful week staying at Casa Azul. Amazing views, great location, walking distance to fantastic restaurants, and wildlife everywhere! The staff at the villa did such a great job. The housekeeper came daily to tidy up, bring fresh towels, and even did our laundry twice. Our concierge Andres was so helpful and responsive, booking all of our activities, as well as an amazing meal cooked by Chef Freddy at the villa. Highly recommend!

Great location with a lot of animals stopping by to say hello. View of the ocean from the tree tops is still something I didn't think I would ever experience. Have already talked to friends about going back.

The location and staff were amazing. Thank you for a great trip. The wild life was beautiful and always around. Watch out for the white faced monkey mafia they do not play around. The house is in a great spot for all the activities and the views are second to none.

Great place to stay with a breath taking view! Only downsize was the amount of stairs, we were traveling with elderly people and this wasnt shown in the pictures or disclosed in the description. Other than that, would recommend!

Simply stunning. The best view on Manuel Antonio. The place is so unique having an open kitchen and diner. Saw the most wildlife than any other part of Costa Rica including national parks!! Toucans lizards iguanas, frogs, parrots and yes loads of monkeys. They do climb on the terraces but really not a problem if you don’t leave any food out. All cupboards and fridge have locks on so surprised by comments in a previous review. All rooms have aircon and open areas have fans so temperature is pleasant. Pool amazing and bedrooms of a high standard. Food delivered at no extra cost than the food and Charlie always on hand to give advice. He went above and beyond when we also had a problem with a personal issue. 5 stars all round, wish we’d stayed longer

Wow, what a jungle gem! Fernando and the entire concierge team (shout out to Carlos and Charlie) proactively welcomed us as soon as we booked and offered any help to make this feel like a private mini resort. We had incredible views of the ocean, Manuel Antonio National Park, and the wildlife literally comes to your doorstep (be sure to lock up all food when not around as we quickly had some monkey visitors). From our balcony we saw two types of monkeys, a sloth, variety of lizards, scarlet macaw parrots, and even a kinkajou at night! We booked a private chef to make us dinner one night and Chef Freddie was outstanding. Location is great and walkable to venues up the paved hill and minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park. Pura Vida in every sense!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home is beautiful with the most incredible views. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have fresh linens and towels each day provided by Mina, the housekeeper. A couple things to note: there is a dead end road directly below the villa with delivery drivers coming and going. I pictured it being a secluded jungle, so that’s just something to be aware of. There are also a fair amount of bugs inside because of the open air concept. That being said, the place was wonderful and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
