This beachfront vacation home combines the charm of a traditional Costa Rican beach house with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a handcrafted tile mural. Outside, enjoy a private pool, jacuzzi, lush tropical gardens, and direct access to the beach—ideal for relaxing, entertaining, and watching unforgettable sunsets.
The Space
The outdoor oasis includes:
- A private pool and jacuzzi
- A tropical garden with the beach as a backdrop
- A palapa for relaxing and enjoying sunset views
- An outdoor grill
Inside, the villa features a sunken living room with direct ocean views. The formal dining room includes a large table overlooking the pool, garden, beach, and ocean.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with everything needed for your stay. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor, while two are upstairs. The beautiful master suite includes a balcony that is perfect for enjoying sunsets, receiving massages, or simply unwinding.
The tropical grounds feature mango, banana, papaya, and coconut trees, along with a variety of colorful tropical flowers. Vibrant concrete walls and front iron gates provide privacy from the road and neighboring properties.
From the backyard, you can watch boats sail into the harbor. Flamingo Marina is within walking distance, just a short stroll along the beach.
Guest Access
The property manager will contact you before your arrival. She will meet you at the house, welcome you, and provide a brief tour. For late arrivals, she will send the entry gate code for self-check-in.

- Beach access and oceanfront area
The pool is cleaned three times a week—Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday—at approximately 11 a.m.

Additional Details
- The third full bathroom is located outside by the pool. It includes a private toilet and washroom, along with a semi-private shower.
- A washer and dryer are available for guest use.
- A foot shower is located beside the fence for rinsing off after returning from the beach.
- The home has indoor and outdoor security systems, as well as iron grills with combination locks throughout the house.
- Guests staying for one week will have a midweek cleaning scheduled.

Maluku has a beautiful home which fit our families perfectly. The house manager Veronica is close by and incredibly responsive. They provided recommendations for food and activities, even assisting with booking a private chef for a night. I would highly recommend this home!!

Don’t think twice about booking! The location is perfect, right on a quiet beach with a private pool. Plenty of shady spots in the yard. We traveled with our four kids here and they could be on the beach/in the ocean or in the pool and we could see them from the backyard. The beach is very quiet and walkable to a couple of restaurants. The kids loved the boogie boards. Inside, there was plenty of space for our family. The beds were very comfortable. Some of the furnishings could use a bit of updating, but honestly, everything was so clean and comfortable. The property manager made sure we were checked in and stopped by to provide instructions on the house, so helpful to have someone nearby. Both the owner and manager were very responsive to questions and provided suggestions on restaurants and other amenities. We did not check out much of the local area as our family was very satisfied, enjoying the pool and the beach!

House is right on the beach and has outside shower for sand. Location is a few min drive to the marina which was great when we went fishing. The Beach House restaurant down the beach is very close but wouldn’t recommend as it had no local/traditional Costa Rican dishes on the menu. House is clean and had laundry and dish soap. Great communication.

How could you not fall in love with a beautiful house with a pool out the back doors and the beach just past the pool. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary appliances and plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware. Overall, the interior of the house had a cheery elegance that fit with the house and the location. Given that we had come to the beach to relax and not engage in many activities, it was the perfect setting. There were numerous restaurants within an easy drive and a market close by so that We walked down the beach the first night to the Beach House restaurant and had some exceptional fresh fish for dinner. Actually, the best meal that I had the entire week in Costa Rica. The four bedrooms worked quite well for our family of two grandparents, a family of four with two small children and a second adult sun. I would definitely stay there again if I were coming to the Costa Rican beaches.

House and pool are beautiful, private and walkable to some restaurants. We walked along the beach then walked out to the street to get to the restaurants. People walk on the street so drive carefully. Black sand beach was awesome with wonderful sunsets. About 5-10min drive over to playa flamingo is white sand beach if you want to see the constrast. Great critters on the beach kept my kids busy for hours with calm beach waters as we relaxed on the covered palapas. We did a catamaran excursion with a waterslide and we went to Tamarindo beach for some surfing. This house is very secure and locked so you will feel very safe.
