Beautiful property and close to the beach. The views were perfect and the private pool was amazing.

Perfect for us except we should have stayed longer! So many areas to relax and take in the views and sounds of nature. We had trouble operating the gate and they had someone there quickly - they always responded efficiently when we needed information. Already planning to come back

What a sanctuary! This place was beautiful, quiet and the perfect get away. Surrounded by wildlife. Easy access to the sea, great friendly people, good food and shopping options within a walk or short drive

This house is so unique, it's the perfect combination of private and also accessible. We were a very short drive from the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and activities. Our group enjoyed the pool and kitchen and also got to explore and find great restaurants for the meals we didn't want to cook ourselves. We highly recommend this house, the downstairs living room and kitchen were very open and we could go from swimming to meal prepping very easily. The second floor has two rooms with open air hallways and a hammock great for reading in the morning. The upstairs has a 360 degree view of the surroundings which is stunning, but is open to the elements through the staircase so don't be surprised when you make some cricket friends. They're harmless and beautiful, just pack ear plugs and a sleep mask and you won't even know they're there. The top floor also has its own private bathroom so you don't need to make the trek down the steep staircase in the middle of the night.

We stayed 3 nights and sure wished it was longer. The property was very private, huge, and decorated with such flair- so special. We didn't hear other humans from the house at all. The 2 road options in town to reach the house were equally rough- unpaved and gullied in places from water erosion. This is to be expected in Costa Rica of course, so we were glad to have a 4 x 4 and I imagine the town will pave the roads soon. Lots of critters- common house gecko, iguana, green dart frogs that were fun to spot.

Lovely home with lots of open air spaces. Plenty of room for our small family. Absolutely beautiful view and beautiful yard! The pool was large and shaded. Loved the extra bed on the upper porch for lounging with coffee and enjoying the early morning scenery!

We loved our stay here. It was a beautiful place with a very cultural feel. The location could be better but if you want a real cultural feel, this is your place. The host was EXTREMELY responsive. We had a couple issues while we were there and they were handled immediately. I was thoroughly impressed with the host, he was incredible. Overall a great addition to our stay in Costa Rica

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. The views were simply breathtaking, and having our own private pool was the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. If I had to mention a downside, it would be that two of the rooms lack full blackout curtains, making it a challenge for light-sensitive sleepers, especially for those who aren’t early risers. Additionally, there weren’t any seasonings provided, which isn't necessarily a negative, but I've typically found some available in previous Airbnb stays for cooking. There was a small grocery store located at the bottom of the hill, along with a bar/restaurant right next to it. The scenery was truly stunning; we often spotted macaws and iguanas. I highly recommend this place! Just a suggestion: if you're not an early bird, consider bringing earplugs and a sleep mask for a more comfortable experience.
