Getting Here
From Belize City, there are two ways to reach San Pedro.
By Air
A short flight from Belize City to San Pedro takes approximately 20 minutes. The journey with Tropic Airlines is operated on small aircraft carrying a maximum of 15 passengers.
Along the way, you can enjoy views of the islands surrounding San Pedro and the open sea. Once you arrive, the apartment can be reached on foot, by golf cart, or by taxi.
By Water Taxi
Water taxis operate from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with several departures throughout the day. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours.
This option offers the opportunity to meet local residents, experience the culture, and hear their stories about San Pedro.
Local Information
San Pedro’s local currency is the Belizean dollar, although United States dollars are also accepted at an exchange rate of 1 USD to 2 Belizean dollars. Most places accept credit cards as well.
The locals are friendly, helpful, and English-speaking, and are happy to help make your holiday more enjoyable.
Activities
Once you become familiar with the area, there are many ways to explore San Pedro and its surroundings:

Overall place was described but villa 8 does not have an ocean view or much privacy. Good things: Place is described and looks like the pictures It was clean The community area is not private and shared but very nice The villa was well equipped with everything you need They will setup groceries, golf cart, and anything you need They communicate very well Location is close to town center Things that can be improved Living room is small for 6 or more people Location is down a back alley and not very secure. We had gas siphoned out of our golf cart People would dig through the trash every night Beds were hard and pillows were not great Location was close to the airport so you will hear them Overall cost for value you is there and if you will not be spending a ton of time at the place it’s worth a shot.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed to feel at home, and the location was convenient for exploring the area. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the check-in and check-out process easy. The property is exactly as listed in the listing. Pista is a very great host with excellent hospitality. The home/resort was very beautiful with a beachfront view. Everything you need is walking distance. Everyone in San Pedro is very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend booking with Pista and with Babylon beach resort

Great location, a convenient 10 minutes walk from the water taxi, and 2 minutes walk from San Pedro airport. Comfortable accomodations, with a dock access for scuba/snorkelling trip pick-up. Grocery stores and several restaurants are within a 5 minute walk. This is a good option if you plan to book with a local dive company.
