Historic Center House

Overview

Historic Center House is a luxury boutique house in the heart of Cartagena, close to top restaurants, bars, plazas, and attractions. The entire property is rented exclusively to one group and accommodates up to 12 guests across five bedrooms and three floors.

Daily housekeeping, maintenance staff, a night concierge, and continental breakfast are included. Additional breakfast ingredients or items outside the established menu must be provided or paid for by guests. Lunch preparation is available for an additional USD 50 per day for the entire group, excluding ingredients.

The Space

This historic home combines colonial architecture with contemporary comfort and sophistication. The three floors are connected by an elevator, and the property includes:

Cooking Services

A continental breakfast from the established menu is included in the rate. Any additional breakfast ingredients or items not included in the menu must be provided or paid for by guests.

Lunch preparation may be arranged in advance for an additional fee of USD 50 per day for the entire group, not per person. Lunch ingredients are not included and must be provided or paid for by guests.

Although the bedrooms offer several sleeping arrangements, the maximum occupancy for the entire house is 12 guests.

Guest Access

A member of the team will welcome you upon arrival and assist with your luggage, check-in, and any questions about the property or its services. Staff will be available to help make your stay comfortable and enjoyable from the moment you arrive.

Entrance information is shared 48 to 24 hours before check-in, once guests have completed registration and submitted identification documents for everyone staying at the property.

Guests are also required to sign an accommodation contract in addition to the Airbnb agreement. This document outlines the specific reservation terms, property policies, and house rules.

House Rules

Child Supervision and Documentation

Children must remain under parental supervision. Minors are admitted only when the required documentation is provided:

• When accompanied by both parents, the child must present legal documentation, such as an identity card or birth certificate, verifying the parental relationship.
• When accompanied by only one parent, the child must present legal documentation verifying the parental relationship, along with authenticated permission from the absent parent.

Guest Registration

The number of guests staying at the property must not exceed the number registered on Airbnb. All guests must be identified by name and verified at check-in using valid identification.

People who are not part of the registered guest group are not permitted to enter the property. The accommodation reserves the right to deny access to accompanying or occasional visitors.

If an unregistered companion is found entering the rooms, the total reservation amount will be charged.

Parties

Parties are not allowed.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted indoors. Smoking is allowed only on the balcony or terrace.

If a guest smokes inside a bedroom, they must pay:

• The accommodation’s deodorizing and cleaning costs, estimated at USD 200 and settled at the representative market rate on the day of payment
• The value of two nights at the applicable accommodation rate, since the room cannot be used during the following two nights while it is cleaned and deodorized

Order and Cleanliness

Guests must maintain order and cleanliness throughout the property, behave respectfully and decently, and avoid disturbing neighbors’ nighttime rest.

Prohibited Activities

• Drugs are not allowed.
• Sexual tourism is not allowed.
• Any conduct that contributes to the sexual or commercial exploitation of children or adolescents is prohibited.

Other Policies

• The property reserves the right of admission.
• Pets are not allowed.

Taxes and Additional Charges

In accordance with Colombian regulations:

• Colombian citizens and residents must pay 19% VAT on the accommodation value.
• Non-resident travelers who present a valid passport with a tourist visa may be exempt from the 19% VAT, in compliance with current legislation.
• Taxes and additional charges payable at the property are calculated using the current exchange rate and must be paid in local currency (COP).
