We loved Becca’s place so much! The view is absolutely gorgeous and the house itself is very spacious. The ascend requiring 4x4 vehicle isn’t intimidating and the view makes it absolutely worth it. The house is relatively close to many areas of interest but not in a touristy zone, and you’re surrounded by nature and wildlife. Becca is very friendly and happy to assist with any needs you may have.

If you are in this area do yourself a favor and stay here. This place better than a five star resort without the cost. The beaches here are the best we have seen without the crowds. We felt like we hit pay dirt booking this place. Absolutely no disappointments. Thehost Becca is such a sweet person.

We LOVED staying in your beautiful home! It was magical for us with the birds, pool, sunsets and amazing home to be together in. We loved all the suggested activities that we did, as well as hanging out doing puzzles together. The location is fantastic and we hope to be back in the future!

So my friends and i wanted a place and after a lot and i mean a lot of research this one just really seemed to call out to us. Definitely made the best decision we could have possibly made. The drive up the mountain is always an adventure and you have a possiblity of seeing some wildlife. When you drive up the steep driveway and then you see the house you will instantly smile and be filled with excitement. The house is amazing and the view is extraordinary it really exceeds your expectations which are already high as it is. I wish i could explain it but its something you have to see for yourself to really understand. Coatis are pretty easily found around the area along with a variety of birds. Its possible to run into other wildlife but thats what we seen the most. Also its in a sort of remote area but there is always multiple little stores near and its only a short 30 minute drive to the MaxiPali which is like a small walmart. We loved everything about where we stayed especially Becca. We invited her up multiple times because she is such a smart, funny and kind person. Becca really cares about your experience and will help you out if you need any suggestions. She actually set up our Kayaking adventure in the Savegre River and then got up early to drop us off. Becca saved the day multiple times for us. There is plenty to do for all ages so bring your kids bring your grandparents bring whoever wants to have the time of their life. We will definently be rebooking with her again on our next trip to Costa Rica!

Perched on top of a hill (4-wheel drive is mandatory), this house has a truly priceless view of Matapalo, the ocean, and parts of the jungle. There's a breeze at night and during the day, toucans and macaws are plentiful, and the house has everything that you would need during your stay (including a yoga deck if you'd like). Becca and her team are attentive and quick to help when you need to them - especially when it comes to recommendations. I've been staying in the Quepos region for a year now and this property was by far my favorite.

We had a fantastic stay - it was the highlight of our trip in Costa Rica. Becca went way above and beyond providing tips and recommendations. The house was incredible and the view from the pool is unbelievable. Can’t say enough good things.

It is a great house on the top of the hill, with a nice big swimmingpool and spectacular views. The kids loved playing in the pool. The house is a bit older and you can see that, but it is all nice and clean and homey. We missed some glasses, but no big problem. Becca is great and helps you when you need something. She has great tips in her book for day trips and restaurants.

The house and Becca are amazing! We loved the sunsets, and the pairs of parrots and Toucans that seemed to stop by and visit every evening were delightful. Becca recommended the perfect activities for our short stay, and made arrangements for our tour of Manuel Antonio with the best guide we have had for any tour we have had in Costa Rica. Don’t miss the warm springs, where Rosa showed us a secret waterfall. Thanks again for a wonderful few days Becca!

Casa de Sunset is truly a special home located in a completely private setting with an absolutely spectacular view. Though the setting is gorgeous and private, we never felt closed off from the real world when all we needed to do was look out the window to a breathtaking view of the jungle and the ocean. We very much enjoyed living among the Costa Rican wildlife for 4 days as we watched and listened to the monkeys, birds, parrots, tucans and sloths in their natural habitat. The home is spacious and accommodates almost every need. We very much enjoyed just "being" and relaxing next to the pool as we reconnected and made memories that we will cherish for the rest of lives. If you're looking for a place to get away, but enjoy some one day excursions to experience the things that Costa Rica has to offer, this is an awesome option for your housing needs. We will never forget our time there and hope to return again in the near future!

------ When we arrived at Becca's place we were out of breath. Out of words. We we expecting to discover a great place but finally this place is FABULOUS! The house is so big, has such a positive vibe and the sunset offers you the most gorgeous show every night. Every day, Toucan and Parrots were coming to visit us. There's so much to see around : Manuel Antonio park, Uvita waterfalls (amazing!) and much more. Unfortunately our 4 days stay was to short for seeing all. We were doing a 3 weeks road trip across Costa Rica and out of the 8 places that we made, it was by far our favorite. Our 4 years old son Leo is still talking to us about the amazing pool. Becca wasn't there during our stay but she was very reactive to all our questions. We definitely want to come back and share that little paradise with our family and friends.
