Overview

A peaceful oasis ideal for two families or groups of up to eight guests. The property sits on a private one-acre lot with a beautiful pool, lush gardens, and hummingbirds.

Five stunning beaches—including Playa Negra, Playa Avellanas, and Playa Callejones, just one mile away—are within a four- to ten-minute drive. The home is also close to everything from casual cafés to five-star dining, with fresh fish, fruit, and vegetable trucks passing by regularly.

The Space

Campo de Sueños is designed as a personal sanctuary, offering everything needed for long, relaxing days by the pool. Watch butterflies, hummingbirds, iguanas, flocks of parrots overhead, and, on rare occasions, anteaters. Howler monkeys also inhabit the Guanacaste trees on the property.

Beyond the teak gate and landscaped grounds, the house is tucked away from the road. This architecturally appealing villa features a private pool, flower gardens, and rare groupings of sheltering trees, including a large mango tree that produces abundant fruit in March.

The main living area combines smooth concrete surfaces, vaulted ceilings, expansive concrete counters, and a kitchen island connected to a wooden dining table. Together, these details create the charm of a modern, high-end casita with the design appeal of a loft.

Cool concrete floors, white insulating roof paint, three air-conditioning units—one in each bedroom—and six ceiling fans help keep the house airy and comfortable in all temperatures. Four fans are located above the living room, with one on the veranda and one in each bathroom.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire private pool area, which includes:

The poolside veranda extends the main living area and provides a shaded space for socializing, dining, napping, and relaxing. A wooden table and chairs are available for al fresco meals, while the overhead fan and comfortable breeze help keep the area cool. The barbecue is set up and ready for grilling fresh fish, which can be delivered weekly.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The home has three bedrooms with six beds and accommodates eight to nine people:

1. A king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
2. A bedroom with a full-size bunk below, a twin bunk above, and a separate twin bed.
3. A queen bedroom just off the pool with its own entrance and an additional twin bed. The twin can be moved into the bunk room if preferred.

All bathrooms feature rainfall showerheads and beautiful Spanish decorative tiles.

Workspace

An office nook just off the living room includes a small desk where you can work without missing out on the activity in the main living area.

Location and Transportation

The property is approximately one hour and 20 minutes door-to-door from Liberia International Airport via paved roads and simple directions.

Depending on the length of your stay, you may want to use the food trucks that pass regularly, offering:

A concierge food-shopping service is also available if you would like a fully stocked refrigerator waiting upon arrival. The service costs $100 plus the cost of the food. A detailed shopping list must be submitted at least two days before arrival, and exact items cannot be guaranteed.
