Great place and great hosts! I would definitely stay again. The staff was great, the Blu Zen was beautiful and clean and lots of great options for pools.

Tuvimos una experiencia realmente maravillosa en Blue Zen con Melanie. Nos gustó muchísimo todo, especialmente las amenidades, que están súper bien cuidadas y completas. La disponibilidad del ferry fue excelente y nos facilitó muchísimo el traslado, lo cual hizo toda la diferencia durante la estadía. Además, hay muy buena variedad de restaurantes cerca, lo que suma mucho a la experiencia. Siempre que tuvimos alguna duda, el equipo estuvo pendiente y dispuesto a ayudarnos. Incluso el equipo de mantenimiento llegó rapidísimo para explicarnos el uso de la caja fuerte, lo cual agradecimos mucho. El lugar está súper equipado, cómodo y pensado en cada detalle. Nos vamos encantados de Belice y definitivamente nos quedamos con ganas de regresar, esta vez con toda la familia. ¡Gracias Melanie por todo!

Great place to stay in Caye Caulker if you want nice and quite place. Easy to reach the village by the boat which is complimentary. Staff is very polite and helpful. Great pools.

This was a stunning place to stay on the quiet, beautiful north island. The host was incredibly helpful, with so many excellent recommendations and details about our trip ahead of time. The resort staff is so so very friendly. This is a wonderful place to stay, truly get away, and relax!

Blue Zen is a great resort, the staff very helpful and friendly. Not much for a beach, but 3 pools, 4 if you count the hotel pool which I believe we could have used. All beautiful. Free bikes, but you better grab them early. We rode to Bliss Beach a few times, very nice. Ate at the Lotus that was excellent. Melanie’s place is right next to La Fogata which has local talent playing some nights. Fun stuff, but the food wasn’t great. We ate at Happy Lobster right down the road, which was very good. We had a drink at Caribbean Roots which is like a back yard. The ferry to the South Island is a great perk. Our hosts are the best! If you’re going to Blue Zen, stay here.

We’ve just ended a two week stay here and had a fabulous time Communication was great and we were provided clear details on how to a travel to Caye Caulker and what check in would look like. We were provided lots of tips and recommendations on places to go and places to eat as well The unit was located a few yards from the ocean and provided prime viewing for the beautiful sunrises The space was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The front desk was great with any questions we had and helped us arrange a couple of excursions. We were amazed they always addressed us by name! There are 3 restaurants on site as well a few more close by, and we also spent many evenings in the village on the south side for dinner - the free water taxi from BluZen makes it easy to travel back and forth Make sure to visit Bliss Beach as well - it’s a little slice of paradise!

Melanie was super responsive. The resort is stunning, and the unit as well. The resort staff are friendly and helpful. It is a bit remote, so if that's not your thing, take note. We loved it. Nature and relaxation. I would not go back in July, though. The sargassum and mosquitoes were a bit much. Not the host's fault, of course. Nature is nature. Caye Caulker is absolutely amazing. Consider renting a gold cart or bikes for your stay. Not enough at the resort.
