The Space
Heavenly Highlands is a modern farmhouse surrounded by nature in the mountains of Costa Rica, near San José. Designed to feel open, peaceful, and connected to the land, the home features wide windows, abundant natural light, and views of the green landscape from nearly every room.
The architecture combines a black facade, exposed concrete, warm wood details, mosaic and terrazzo floors, and furniture crafted by local artisans. Many of the wood elements come from the Osa Peninsula, adding warmth and an authentic Costa Rican character.
More than 300 trees have been planted throughout the property to create a natural sanctuary for birds, animals, and families. Spend your days walking through the grounds, visiting the farm animals, relaxing by the fire pit, and enjoying the quiet beauty of the mountains.

What a truly special place. We only stayed for two nights, but honestly wished we could have stayed much longer. Heavenly Highlands is much more than a beautiful Airbnb — it’s an experience in itself. The house is absolutely stunning. The architecture, the materials, the furniture and all the little details feel incredibly thoughtful, while at the same time everything blends naturally into the surrounding landscape. And then there are the views — waking up surrounded by the mountains, greenery and complete tranquility is something hard to describe in photos. What makes this place really unique, though, is the atmosphere. There’s a wonderful sense of peace, privacy and connection with nature, while still feeling extremely comfortable and welcoming. You can tell that a lot of care and passion went into creating this property. Definitely one of the most memorable Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Two nights felt far too short. We would come back without hesitation — truly a one-of-a-kind

The property was absolutely beautiful! The play house was perfect for our two toddlers and we enjoyed the yard! Unfortunately we did have a few issues. On our first morning we did find a snake in the home which was very worrisome with having small children. Ronny did come over to look at it and let us know it wasn’t poisonous. There was also a rat or mouse inside the home which was never caught or removed. We had a lot of food items ruined by the rodent and all of the dishes would have poop on them in the morning. We would have to wash everything multiple times before feeling comfortable to eat off of it. We understand that it is a remote house in the jungle but for us we did expect a poop free environment for the price we paid. We enjoyed our time but because of the lack of host responsiveness and that the rat and rat poop was never handled I would unfortunately not be able to recommend this place.

We stayed here with our two toddlers (ages 1 and 3) for four nights and had the best time. It is hard to put into words how beautiful this property is. Our kids made use of the play house, feeding the animals, and just exploring the many small gems of the property. The adults enjoyed drinking the coffee from the farm, cooking on the outdoor grill, and birdwatching. We saw toucans, butterflies and hummingbirds. Ronny takes excellent care of the farm and is available at a moments notice. We also hired Eduardo the chef for a pizza night and highly recommend doing this-he gave us many excellent local recommendations. The house is absolutely stunning and extremely comfortable. It was a very steep drive to arrive at the property but we had no issue with our SUV. Because of the rainy season we did have some cloudier days but we also had excellent clear views and the most stunning sunset on our last night. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a personal mountain retreat!

This accommodation is incredible. It has everything you need to relax and enjoy the wonders of God's creation. The landscapes are spectacular, and the house is designed so you can enjoy it. The house, the gardens, the farm, everything is designed with an incredible level of beauty! If you come with children, they will love it. There is a tree house where they can have lots of fun…my nieces described it as a magical place. Eduardo's pizzas were amazing. Don't hesitate to hire him! Tip: Insects are attracted to the light at night, so I recommend keeping the lights low at night to prevent them from coming.

Bruno’s home is a slice of heaven. My husband and 18 month old came to enjoy time here and it was the exact retreat we needed. The views are unbeatable, the gardens are so beautiful and the animals are a huge bonus. My son spent hours playing in the treehouse. We have traveled many places but Bruno’s house is definitely a place we will be returning. We booked Edwardo for pizza and sushi night. He prepared wonderful food and his company was a gift. Danny and Sophia came to take photos of our family. Such a treat to be with them and capture memories of our trip.
