This brand-new vacation home debuted in early 2022, showcasing meticulous design and attention to detail. The property is privately gated and features a peaceful, resort-style courtyard. Situated atop Lagunas Mountain in Dominical along Costa Rica’s southern Pacific coast, it provides a serene escape from everyday stresses.
Wildlife is abundant around Tulü Azul, with toucans and parrots soaring overhead, howler and white-faced monkeys swinging through the jungle canopy, blue Morpho butterflies fluttering by, and various frog species hopping nearby.
The villa includes four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, nestled into a lush mountainside. It offers an ideal setting to relax and indulge in life’s finer moments. Adventurous guests can embark on 4x4 excursions from the property to explore multiple rivers in the surrounding valley.
Exterior and Courtyard
The well-maintained courtyard features a mature mango tree at its center and leads to the villa’s entrance. Along the walkway, unique hand-carved stone reliefs depict turtles, dolphins, tropical fish, and coral.
Interior Living Areas
Upon entering the main living space, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and panoramic windows reveal expansive rainforest views stretching from the Lagunas ridge down to the Pacific shoreline. An infinity pool sits between the villa and the ocean, providing breathtaking vistas of Costa Rica’s natural beauty.
The living room offers ample seating, a wooden coffee table, and a flat-screen television. Adjacent to this is a fully equipped, modern kitchen featuring:

The outdoor dining table seats eight guests. Nearby, a palapa viewing deck is furnished with lounge chairs and offers spectacular ocean and jungle panoramas, as well as an outdoor shower. This area is perfect for yoga sessions or relaxing with a cocktail while soaking in the jungle atmosphere.

The infinity pool provides a resort-quality relaxation experience. Guests can easily refresh themselves with a drink from the nearby wine fridge without leaving the pool area.

Master Suite
Located on the main level, the master suite features:

The fourth bedroom is separate from the main house, providing extra privacy while maintaining the same exceptional ocean and jungle views.

We loved staying in this villa! Everything was perfect and the pool area was amazing. Super close to Dominical and local beaches while being tucked away in the jungle. Stephen, our host, was super responsive and helpful. Looking forward to coming back.

This property was absolutely amazing! The home was immaculate with all the amenities, surrounded by lush landscaping and stunning views of the mountains and sea. The location was perfect - it feels very secluded, but Dominical is just a quick 15 minute drive. The host was extremely responsive and made great recommendations for things to do in the area. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Costa Rica’

The photos don’t do it justice. Perfectly nested away in the jungle while being just a short drive to town. highly recommend, phenomenal bang for buck value.

Our stay was fabulous at Tulu Azul. Our hosts were always very responsive and guided us to our house to ensure we didn’t get lost. The amenities were amazing but what really stood out was the wildlife. We saw toucans everyday. There were many beautiful butterflies, frogs of all varieties, and many hummingbirds visiting at all hours of the day. We wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else!

The view was breathtaking and beyond words. The pool and outside area was relaxing, comfortable and just what we wanted. Each couple had a room and bathroom that had amazing views and comfortable bed and luxurious bathrooms. The kitchen had literally everything you need to make any kind of meal you desired. The property manager recommended the best private chefs. I wish had done it earlier in our stay so could of enjoyed the leftovers. Communications was excellent when we it was time to check in to the house. We really appreciated the escort to the home it made the adventure to the home stress free. I wish we would have that kind of treatment 5 years ago on the first trip to CR with a different rental company. I will definitely be using YouGetHere in the future and hopefully coming back to this same home. I love nature but if someone does not appreciate it they may need to prepare themselves that this home is in the jungle and we are nature's guest.

We LOVED this home and all it had to offer!!! Do NOT ignore the need 4x4 vehicle. Road can be intimidating, but it is safe and worth the trip- the views and property are absolutely incredible and stunning. The homes layout/ architecture design/ decor was very well done, appreciated, and very thoughtful. No detail was missed. There is ample outside seating and entertainment space that can be enjoyed regardless of weather conditions. Each bedroom is its own suite which was extremely nice and provided lots of privacy. In spite of its isolated location, the location is perfect- not far from multiple beach/water and adventure activities. The host was super accommodating, had great communication, was very attentive, and answered all of our questions. The outdoor shower space was amazing and has really great shower pressure- bucket list experince showering with that view. Having a gym/equipment was a great bonus !

Fantastic Property – A Wonderful Experience Once Again! This was our second stay at this property, and it definitely won’t be our last! If I find myself in the area again, this will be my first choice. The property is even better than described – the photos don’t do it justice. The view is absolutely stunning, especially during sunset – a real highlight of our stay. The property was spotless upon arrival and maintained to a very high standard. The property management team was outstanding, providing prompt and helpful communication throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and well-maintained getaway. It truly feels like a home away from home!

We loved our family vacation in the jungle, the house is gorgeous. The view is even more beautiful in person. We saw wild animals every day from toucans to morpho butterflies to coatimundi! The host helped us find an emergency center late at night when we needed it most. They are very reliable. Even though the house feels remote the town is not too far and with the help of the hosts and a 4x4 we could easily navigate the area.

This place is truly magical, the property is beyond words. The view is the prize of this property of course. I have never seen a view that gorgeous all day long. The house was constructed with extremely details in mind and it shows. The house has everything you need from the incredible sound system through the house and outside to enjoy those pools days to anything you would want in the kitchen to grilling outside. The surrounding areas are awesome local town “Dominical” has great spots to eat. Make sure you get a 4x4 it is a decent drive up the mountain but this is a small price to pay to stay in this amazing home. I am so grateful to have shared this experience and would highly recommend anyone thinking about booking here to just do it! The nature and wildlife is vast as to be expected you are staying in the jungle which is their home. Enjoy and PURA VIDA!
