The Space
Welcome to Casa Pacifica, your tropical retreat with direct access to the beach from the property. This newly constructed home is just a five-minute walk from three different surf breaks as well as a calm swimming beach.
Relax by the expansive pool featuring a large baja shelf, all set amidst a peaceful jungle environment where monkeys frequently visit the surrounding trees. The spacious teak deck offers ample seating and a built-in barbecue, perfect for outdoor dining and entertaining.
The living room and kitchen area are open and roomy, with sliding glass doors that can be opened to blend indoor and outdoor living. The kitchen provides easy access to the outdoor barbecue. On the patio, you'll find a beautiful dining table crafted from Guanacaste wood, seating at least ten guests.
The main house includes three bedrooms and three bathrooms, all en suite. Each bedroom has its own wardrobe, and the primary bedroom boasts two walk-in closets. Additionally, there is a two-bedroom casita, each bedroom with its own en suite bathroom. Both casita bedrooms have fully equipped kitchens and wardrobes.
The property is fully fenced, offering privacy and security. Parking is available for four vehicles inside the fence, with additional parking on the road in front if needed.
Location
Casa Pacifica is within walking distance of excellent restaurants, yoga studios, a turtle reserve, and more. You can easily arrange surf lessons, activities, and transportation nearby. The town of Tamarindo is only a 30-minute drive away.

Important Notes
Please be aware that Playa Grande is a developing town, and construction is ongoing adjacent to the property as well as in various areas nearby.
Guests are asked to conserve water and electricity by turning off air conditioning and lights when leaving the house or casita. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside both the house and casita. Pets are not allowed on the property.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in a $100 fine. There is also a $20 charge for lost keys.

There are so many places in the world to see, but if we were to come back to Playa Grande this is absolutely the place we would come back to. The house was perfect for our family with our 3 adult children. Kristena was very responsive and incredibly helpful when we needed help. We would highly recommend her place again.

I cannot say enough good things about Christina’s beautiful house. It was so peaceful, clean, comfortable, and well located. My family and I had a wonderful vacation. Truly a treasure. I hope to come back often!

The property was just as described, plenty of room for our extended family to spread out and each family to have their own room/space. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals, and the outdoor space with the deck, seating, and pool was a hit with everyone, especially the young ones. The pool is really a nice size for a larger group, and with the shelf even the little ones can walk back and forth in it. There are even some pool toys and floaters provided. The path to the beach through the woods was not long, and allowed us to leave the cars parked most of the time. It was so easy to walk down for the sunsets. The provided beach chairs and boogie boards were an added bonus. We visited Tamarindo and Flamingo, but the beach in Playa Grande was so much quieter we enjoyed it more. Everyone in our group said we should come back one day, and we all agreed we would stay there again if it's available.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Pacifica! Kristena was a great host with wonderful recommendations. We absolutely loved the pool and general layout of the house & Casitas. Lots of fun pool toys, great outside grill, and kitchen was well stocked. Would absolutely recommend Playa Grande and Kristena & Jason’s home. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

This is a fantastic spot. It’s an easy walk to the beach and town. We had the pleasure of watching the howler monkeys in the trees behind us which was absolutely amazing to see. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. We felt very safe and the pool was great.

This was the perfect place to vacation with my family and friends! The beach is very close, it's private, and a really beautiful space. It offered everything we needed and we had the best vacation! We plan on bringing some of the kiddos on a family trip next year, and this will 100% be the place we bring them to!

Wow, this place is Great. We had 4 couples and we all loved it. Pool is huge , the house is spacious and just like photos. The recommendations were amazing. Kristina was the best to talk to . We loved meeting her & Jason. Perfect place for walking around and exploring . Norman our driver was the best of the best .

Absolute Prefection....we stayed here for one week at the end of January 2026. We were family of 8 adults and one child. The house was absolutely perfect. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need, including coffee, sugar, spices, oils and lots of non-perishable goods. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and spotless. The 2 casitas are perfect and are like 2 separate private suites, with fridges, coffee makers and a hot plate. The outdoor space, dining, sitting, bar and BIG pool was ideal. The pool was a real highlight. There were howler monkeys in the surrounding trees every morning and evening and a number of iguanas would visit daily. Kristena was the perfect host. Throughout our stay I had a couple of questions and she always responded within minutes. The walk to the beach is truly just a few minutes and the are a handful of great restaurants also within a short walking distance of the home. All in all, a perfect vacation spot.
