About Montecristo

Montecristo is an exclusive gated community in Los Cabos, perched high on a dramatic mountainside with sweeping ocean views overlooking Quivira’s Jack Nicklaus Signature course. Impeccably landscaped and beautifully maintained, the community offers privacy, an elegant clubhouse, and a peaceful Pacific setting at the tip of the Baja Peninsula.

The Space

Montecristo Villas are designed for a luxurious and comfortable stay. Each villa includes:

• Private infinity pool
• Indoor and outdoor jacuzzis
• Spacious terraces
• Central family room
• Reading areas
• Walk-in closets

The villas provide a comfortable home away from home in a spectacular setting.

Please note that reservations are not tied to a specific villa. All villas share the same layout, amenities, private pool, and private jacuzzi. Views may vary slightly between villas, and a specific view or location cannot be guaranteed. We manage villas in both Phase I and Phase II.

Important Booking Information

Pricing is based on the number of guests. Please make sure your reservation reflects the correct guest count.

• Guests added after the original booking incur an additional fee of $50 USD per person, per night.
• Additional guests added during or after check-in are charged $100 USD per person, per night.
• All guests must be registered, and all applicable guest fees must be paid.
• If you are unsure of your final group size, you may add guests before arrival at the standard rate. Please update your reservation at least a couple of days before check-in.

Housekeeping is not included but may be added for $100 USD per day.

Please review the house rules carefully. The Montecristo community is very strict, and following the rules helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Pantry items are not provided. This includes:

• Salt and pepper
• Condiments
• Cooking oils
• Aluminum foil
• Plastic wrap
• Coffee
• Sugar

Villa Assignment

Villa assignment is confirmed only at check-in and cannot be confirmed or guaranteed in advance. As a multi-unit vacation rental property, villas are assigned according to scheduled departures and arrivals.

Early Check-In

Upon arrival, you may go directly to the clubhouse reception desk. Early check-in cannot be confirmed in advance, regardless of the circumstances. The villa is guaranteed to be ready at 4:00 p.m.; if it is ready earlier on the day of your arrival, we will be happy to provide access.

While waiting, you may use the clubhouse facilities. Our team can also store your luggage and groceries until the villa is ready.

Guest Access

Guests also have access to Pueblo Bonito Resorts, which maintain excellent service standards and amenities.

Guest Discounts

The following discounts apply during your stay:

• 10% discount on food and beverages at Pueblo Bonito restaurants and bars
• 20% discount on spa treatments at Pueblo Bonito spas
• 25% discount on rounds of golf at the exclusive Quivira Golf Course

Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions, certificates, or coupons.

Outside Services

Outside services are not permitted within the Quivira Los Cabos community. This includes private chefs, catering services, grocery shopping services, maid services, and similar services.

Only services provided by Pueblo Bonito Resorts are permitted.

Environmental Sanitation Tax

The Government of Los Cabos has implemented an Environmental Sanitation Tax to support local environmental and community infrastructure.

Reservations made from September 8, 2022, onward are subject to this tax. The cost is $85 MXN per room per night, approximately $5 USD, and is charged at check-out in addition to the rental total.

Vacation Rental Experience

This is a vacation rental experience, which differs from a timeshare or a hotel rental booked directly through the resorts.

Several amenities included by the resorts are not included with vacation rentals. The amenities provided for this vacation rental are consistent with those commonly offered in the vacation rental industry and with Airbnb’s recommendations for essential amenities.
