The place is a hidden paradise. The photos fall short. We will definitely be back. The people who live on the property are very friendly, and Laura is an excellent cook.

Here’s a version that’s ideal for an Airbnb review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at La Guira! Gina is an outstanding host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful from beginning to end. The private beach was absolutely beautiful, with warm, crystal-clear water that was perfect for relaxing. We had so much fun kayaking and loved seeing the crabs, beautiful birds, and the island’s natural beauty. It was such a peaceful and relaxing escape. The home was spotless and had a fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed to prepare our meals. A special thank you to Mequeco for helping with our grocery errands, Roberto for assisting with our luggage, and Laura for keeping the home so clean and comfortable. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend staying here. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful property with plenty of space to spread out. Two bedrooms have their own cabins with seating areas. Another large outdoor seating area. Beautiful grounds. Incredible wildlife viewing. Green macaws, monkeys, poison dart frogs, toucans and sloths. So much to discover. The water was too rough for snorkeling but we enjoyed hoping in to cool off. Roberto was a great help and Gina was very responsive. Highly recommend this delightful hideaway.

If you are looking for an "out of the way" place surrounded by nature, this is the spot. We spent a month here and loved every minute. We swam, took frequent walks to spend time with the monkeys and birds and snorkled when the water was calm. For sure you have to do some planning for food provisions but Laura's son Vicente was great to buy groceries for us; Roberto and Laura were so much help and met all our needs! We had tears in our eyes when we left.

We had a nice time, lots of private space and lots of privacy. If you have enough of your own groceries with you, you can easily spend a few days and be completely on your own!

We had an amazing stay at this hidden paradise. We already are talking about a possible return trip. It was so nice that we had a couple days where we decided to stay at the property rather than to go somewhere. Be advised, you need an ATV or 4 wheel drive with clearance to get to the property, which is part of the adventure. The host is amazing, very proactive in keeping us informed as well as responding to our questions. The property also has some really nice ground keepers. We highly recommend this truly wonderful location.

We had an amazing stay here! The location is absolutely beautiful: right between the ocean and the jungle. Waking up to the sound of the waves and seeing wildlife around the property was unforgettable. It’s peaceful, private, and feels very special. The place was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for us. The outdoor area and beach access were definitely the highlight, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. Gina was easy to communicate with and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Roberto and Laura were always friendy and willing to help with anything we needed. It’s a bit remote, but that’s part of the charm. If you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway with incredible views, this is the place. We’d absolutely stay here again!
